To make it real short. An Enginer at garrett has a miata and made the turbo for it. His friend at Nissan PR was building a sentra as a marketing tool. Turboed with what is now a GT28rs. The sentra was real ugly, shaped like a potato. with gold flip paint. Sport Compact Car loved the car, less all the wheel spin. It was in the mag a bunch of times and kicked ass. Dave at SCC now has this turbo on his flat black 240sx that is in the mag all the time 280 rear wheel HP. Then 30000 kids with civics call garrett asking for a turbo they do not make. So they start making them. I am sure I left something out but that is close to the story.
