Which Steering rack clamp and/or brace for 1996 900S?

I am moving towards getting a steering rack clamp and/or brace. I phrase it and/or because MP Performance only has a clamp for the 1994-1996 NG900s while KMIC offers a clamp and brace.

To give you an idea of what I want to accomplish, I am looking to minimze the freedom that the steering rack now enjoys (shaking/ movement)but I am not looking to make her ready for extensive aggressive driving.

Questions?:

- Will the clamp alone tighten up the steering column? (would be cheapest at a little over $100 bucks)...or
- Do I really need both the clamp and brace to do the job so that there is a considerable improvement?

Anyone out there just install the MP clamp in there 94-96 900S? Impressions?
