I've search this BB and the C900 BB. I want to do a cheap mod to my '93 C900T. I've already tweaked the APC. I understand that if I change my timing from 16 to 18-20 degrees BTDC that I will increase offboost performance and hence bring about boost quicker. Why does this work exactly? Also, how much of my aternator stop tab do I need to grind off to do this right?
TIA. I don't want to put any money in it or fool around too much. I have to replace my distributor o-ring so I would like to do an upgrade when I remove the distributor.
