5mm spacers

I want to use 5mm hubcentric spacers to mount 225/50r16 Pirelli P-zero Nero M+S tires on my stock 16x6.5 rims.
2 questions:
Will I need longer lug bolts for spacers this size? I plan to measure, but I was curios if anyone knows off-hand.
I believe that I will only need spacers up front. Is this advisable? The front track is already a bit wider than the rear from the factory.
The car is a 2001 9³ SE Converitble.
Thanks for your help.
