10psi safely on LPT? Posted by Chadwick [Email] (#569) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Chadwick) on Mon, 27 Jun 2005 21:24:17 In Reply to: Re: starting with a 900s, SWEDISH DYNAMICS, Mon, 27 Jun 2005 17:05:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Gary
I drive an 87 900s with a light pressure turbo. The boost on my car is set around 5 psi, spikes 7ish in cold weather. Are you sure running 10psi constantly would be safe? All that i have done to the car fueling wise is 3bar fpr and i upgraded to the turbo fuel injectors, also i only run 93 octane fuel. To me, it just seems that 10psi would be dangerously close to knocking and killing the engine.
just curious as to why you think 10psi would be safe?
thanks
Chadwick
