Koni shocks/springs kit on a Viggen Posted by Mio [Email] (#2511) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mio) on Sun, 17 Jul 2005 12:11:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I had the Koni shocks/springs kit put on my '01 Viggen on Friday and am quite pleased with the results. Adjusting the shock stiffness is very easy and it was fun making quick adjustments, going on a test drive (Bay Area 'Got my driver's license in a raffle' zipperheads notwithstanding) along the same route, and noting the differences. The car feels flatter and more stable in corners and I view this as a nice additional modification to my list of suspension upgrades which include:
-steering rack brace/clamp
-polyurethane bushings (lower control arm and sway bar)
-6 point subframe brace
-sport transmission mount
-rear sway bar
-strut brace
-Bridgestone S-O3 Pole Position tires (225/45/17)
I also like the profile of the car a bit more as it naturally sits lower than with the stock configuration. Time will tell if my actions somehow offend the god of Viggen front spoiler scrapes but thus far I have been fortunate.
Special thanks to Gary Moore (http://www.threetrolls.net/) for scoring me a great deal on this item.
