Now is the quarter mile season ended in Sweden again.
Nordic racing crew can look back and se that we are the fastes Saab on the quarter mile again this year.

When i say Saab i mean Saab.
We have original trionic 5 mange system, tuned by Nordic, all standard Saab engine parts except pistons and cams, no launch control, als , flat shift or any other things.

We have had a terribly season with no delivery on the ordered parts.
When we at last got the parts, then hurt Robert (the driver) his fist and had it in plastic in over 2,5 month :-(

He still managed to drive 10,71s with his right hand in plastic :-D

It was only 3 races left after that he had removed the plastic and his hand was ok.

On the first race was the gear link damaged so it was impossibly to get the gears in quick, he still drove 11,3s and 220km/h

On the second race missed we the arriwile time with 5 minutes and was only aloud to drive 1 time.
We did 11.004s and 215km/h on base boos (1bar)

Third race was this weekend.

Over 450car was signed :-o
I think its was about 250-300 that arrived.
We did still managed to drive 3 times.

We started on low boost and got 11.1s and 210km/h in first race
Increased the boost and lower the fuel a little, 10.84s and 222km/h
More boost but Robert missed the second gear and got 10.94s and 227km/h :-(
He had droved under 10.5s if hi had the same 60fot as normal on that run :-(

But still, the fastes FWD car on the challenge and the third fastest top speed of 250 extreme cars.

Now will the car be rebuild a little.
The look will be better and some small adjustment on the chassis and engine.

I don't think it will be any problems to drive a very low 10 with the car next year.

Here is a movie from the challenge this weekend.

Best regards Sasse
