Hi, I took th eplunge an dfitted my 32/36 DGV Weber and manifold over the weekend.
It went like a dream really.
Only issue I had was I couldn't get the rhs breather tube (the bigger one) into the air filter, too tight a bend. Any suggestions there?
I did get the fuel breather to connect up. I also got the psacer plate for the PCV valve and th eplastic spacer in and still had 15mm or clearance over the Ramflo air filter I bought!!
The linkages were nearly perpect. The weber I bought had a drilled quadrant plate for the accelerator and the existing rod was just a fraction short. I remade it and it works a treat.
I have some issues in applying power at normal idle speeds with the engine nearly stalling, or back firing. I replaced the accelerator pump diaphram and it now pumps ok, but it isn't resolved. Only fix is to increase idle speed and then its ok.
