Hello Saabnetwork,
I just got my Sonett III last week and ive started going through it and in looking at the engine bay I have found that there isnt anything connecting anything from where the curved T handle inside the car hits the firewall and goes to the "hinge" for lack of a better term inside the engine bay. Does anyone know of a solution for fixing this problem so I can put my headlights up? A little about my sonett its a 71 and was someones parts car before me that was parked in 91 under a tarp and left to be picked at whenever his car needed something. Its one of the "rare" or so im told cars with air conditioning, which ive already ordered the unit to replace the york unit under the hood. Its the orange color and about 90% there actually but need alot of TLC to get it on the road again. Ive been on the phone with Mark Ashcraft alot and been getting parts to get this beauty back on the road because I have to save it! Sorry for the rant everyone but Im still excited about getting up and seeing it in my driveway, been wanting one for a very long time!
