Tim Nine said it was not uncommon to eventually see that on a Sonett that has been driven regularly. (The prior owner had put about 30,000 miles on it since restoring it about six years ago.) On the plus side, this was the first time the whole body ended up being removed since I bought it from the previous owner last year....and this let me get a really good look at the overall condition of the frame. Good shape with only a couple of spots of minor surface rust that will be addressed during the repair. Posts in this Thread:
