However you like your car to look is fine. I prefer the stock sandy red/orange color seat inserts. My seat inserts were also redone to a sandy gold fabric that I don't like too much. Further along the way I'll try to get them back to stock color when possible.
Here's my driver's door panel. The lock button is in the glove compartment. Previous owner said ex wife kept locking herself out of the car as the outside and inside locks are independent. She could just unlock the passenger side then... if she didn't also lock that door from the inside either... haha. Guess he didn't like her that much. Anyway just below is a picture of the passenger side lock button. I'll have that reinstalled on my driver's side too.
