Hopefully not too late for your needs.
The Haynes SAAB 95/96 workshop manual says (section 5.4.10):
"tighten the pressure plate cover bolts to a torque of 20 lb/ft a turn at a time, in a diametrically opposite sequence".
I'd expect the 95/96 specs to be "close enough" (if not exactly the same) as for the Sonett.
