I've been using the 32/36 DGV on my 73 Datsun pickup for 26 years and had the same carb on the 68 v4 for about 9 mo. Found the carb and manifold seperately on ebay for about $200 total. Both mods were the the best improvements I made on either vehicle. They run smooth, with significant increase in power and the truck actually picked up a couple of mpgs. The carb is buletproof, easy to adjust and easy to rebuild. Had to go with the lower mount. It originally fit but when the weather got hot the fuel would boil in the float bowl. The 1/4" phenalic spacer took care of the problem but required the new mounts. The different letters refer to the type of choke I believe; The DGV being manual.
