Doug, I'm a bit late in this thread, but the rest of the group has great recommendations and time is on your side, great Sonnets need patience. Once the engine is pulled, you'll find it somewhat easier to manage and tell yourself this is a one in 10 year event. You may want to consider sending the master cylinder to Apple Hydraulics in New York. They brass sleeve for about $85 and will rebuild it for a flat rate of... they are on the web. Brass doesn't pit he way the original material does. And as a note, if you decide to re-stuff it yourself, make a diagram of the components as they come apart, the kit won't detail the reassembly components.
