...or the lubrication failed and needs to be scrubbed out and replaced. I have done this kinda' stuff with Saab 900 window motors, but not yet with a Sonett wiper setup.
Given my jealousy about your beautiful Sonett, it is reassuring for me to know there is at least 1 thing wrong with it. J/K
I would get a car battery or car charger, and start applying current to the leads. Three leads = 6 possibilities.
