I need weber carb help...

...I changed to the 2bbl FoMoCo manifold. I painted the manifold black and the valve covers Ford blue. Looks pretty good. Now I have troubles with the carb. (weber 32 36 off of a Datsun).
1) It seems to have a base that is not flat. Off by 2-3mm. It rocks back and forth. I figure I will make 2 custom gaskets and then tighten the snot out of it. Gotta love used stuff on Ebay.
2) I need close up and well framed pictures of engine bays with and without the air cleaners on, showing where all the hoses go and are routed.
3) I need pictures of the linkages, as my carb came from a Datsun so the linkage is not compatible. I need to know if there are any places that make the correct linkage.
4) The FoMoCo spacer seems to have everything in the worst possible place. How do I get around that?
5) The screw in brass fitting that accepts the gasoline line is broken. Where can I get a replacement, what can I use, will Home Despot have a piece that fits.?
6) How do I get to and tighten the drivers side carb bolt closest to the fire wall?
Thanks guys! I hope I'm not asking too much.
