We are selling our 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen. It has approximately 110k miles on it and is in great condition. It is a blast to drive and still gets great gas mileage on the highway. Fewer that 900 of the 5-door version were ever made. This is a clean car, inside and out and it runs great. 230 hp, 258 ft lbs torque, non-Smoker, great leather, a bit of peeling on the clear-coat of one of the wheels and two little dings on the hood from a loose kayak (like hail dents), good rear BFG tires, matching brand new z-rated BFG tires in front, just replaced the water pump, serpentine belt, flushed the coolant, brand new battery, brand new OEM leather shift knob. 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen (Posted 2/17/2010)

For sale is my exceedingly rare Monte Carlo Yellow 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen. This is
the one of the most unique and low mileage Viggens available in the United
States. Yes, it is a 1999. All of the 400 1999 3-door Viggen models imported
to the US for public sale were Lightning Blue - a very few (26 to be exact)
preproduction models were produced in other colors. The previous owner reported
to me that only two of those were Monte Carlo Yellow. These corporate cars were
released to the public from Saab in 2002 and 2003 - the original private owner
purchased the car at that time. Of all of the Viggens produced between 1999 and
2002, only 68 were yellow. How many of them have only 55,000 original miles?
This car spent time in Boston with the first post-corporate owner. The second
owner had the car in Minnesota. I purchased the car there three years ago and
it has been in North Carolina since that time. It is always garaged and has
been serviced exclusively by the specialists at The Swedish Garage in Charlotte.
I have all of the service records and several original sales brochures. There
are currently Viking wheels on the car which are in very good condition with
tires that are in excellent condition. This combination gives the car a softer
feel, but it still corners on rails. The original Viggen wheels were bent and I
had them straightened. The second time they bent, I had them straightened again
and also had them refinished in the original bright silver - they have tires
mounted and are balanced and ready to go. The brakes were redone at 5000 miles
ago. The 60000 mile service has been completed with no outstanding issues.
Hate to part with my dream car - need something with automatic transmission.

2000 Saab 9-3 (Posted 2/8/2010) SOLD

Nice car I wanted to run forever, but expanding family forces sale. Black leather seats, moon roof, manual transmission. Mechanically, its fine - just had the 90k service done. The SID drops a pixel now and then, but they don't stay off for long. I have two sets of wheels: 15" 10 spoke wheels with Continental snow tires, and 16" 5 spoke wheels with Pirelli P-Zero Neros for summer use (probably should replace two of them before summer). I also have the Saab/Thule roofrack. Cosmetically there are two spots of rust on the rear quarter panels/fenders, a dent in the hood from some errant item and a small scratch on the roof (courtesy of the roof rack). I don't think these detract from the car, but I've got a quote of $640 to fix these four items... or keep the dollars in your pocket. I'll have pictures of it in tomorrow morning's snow I can email. <br>I'd rather not trade it in at the dealer... so I've priced it well below KBB for a quick sale.

Hazelnut Metallic exterior in great shape, Tan leather interior (seats are in terrific shape) with very few imperfections throughout. Car runs and drives excellent and needs nothing. There are snows on the car now and of course these will be included in the sale. The only negative is it will probably need brake pads in a little while (about 75%). 2004 Saab 9-3 Linear 2.0t (Posted 2/1/2010)

I am selling my wife's 2004 9-3 Linear. We bought the car in 2007 at Saab of Milford as a CPO with 30k miles. She has had a long highway commute to work and the car now shows less than 105k miles. It had many new parts thanks to it's CPO warranty and has been dealer maintained it's whole life. Parts replaced under dealer CPO: NEW TURBO, drivers seatbelt, battery, wipers, headlights, climate control panel all done 10/2009, swaybar endlinks,both strut bearings 2/2009, other things like the ashtray, blower motor relay, lower seat trim, headlight wiring, all replaced under warranty. Car also has recent Continental performance all season tires. The car has the following extras: Metallic paint($550), power drivers seat, heated seats, 6cd changer($600), also comes with an extra wheel with a slight bend that the car came with. I found a BRAND new wheel which I had put on last year so you can have a full size spare. Last month the car was scratched pretty good, looks like it had been keyed on two body panels. I filed a claim and wound up using $3,000 worth of body work to fix every body panel that might have looked tired and replaced the scraped front bumper trim etc. Now this car is mechanically amazing and looks like it has half the miles. I will have the title in my hand next week and we are selling the car at a loss as we owe $8500. This would sell for thousands more at the dealer. The 2.0t has almost NO lag and gets amazing fuel economy. Did I mention the new turbo, dealer maintanence and body shop perfecting that totals $6-7k in the past few months? This car needs NOTHING aside from soon, a set of rear pads and rotors for about $100. I had them done in March, but my wife put on 30k since then. Other than that, oil, tires, wipers, battery, all done. Get in and drive for a LONG time.
