Color: Imola Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 336,000 Price: $2500 OBO
All original. Not one drop of oil anywhere. Was maintained by Auto dealer and washed daily, super solid frame, little fender rust, Recaro interior has no rips or tears but needs to be refurbished. It has sunflower rims and good snows. Owner kept Aero rims and tires. What it needs to run is serpentine belt installed and throttle cable. When run, it runs like a sewing machine. May need muffler but not too loud. It was one of my dream cars but I have no time to drive. My loss - your gain!!

Sadly it's time to put my Aero up for sale - I don't have time & resources to maintain it any longer. These are just the main points... please email for more info and pictures. It's reliable: I drove it to work a couple of times last week and would not hesitate to drive it on a long trip. But it's definitely showing its age and needs TLC. ABS light is on - LF sensor recently replaced but maybe it needs another. Body generally sound but there's some rust on the rear quarter panels under the trim. There are some intermittent electrical issues with brake & marker light & instrument panel. Climate control including A/C works but needs foam replaced. Interior is a bit rough. Engine starts & runs well, always used Mobil 1. New clutch. Transmission generally works fine and doesn't make bad noises but sometimes balks going into 3rd. Almost-new 3"/2.5" sport exhaust & performance intercooler. Performance all-season tires w/75% tread remaining on super Aero rims. I also have a set of fairly worn snows on alloys for $100. All prices are firm.

1st Owner: Company Car driven by Saab VP in Jacksonville FL. I bought it in Sept '96 with 12K mi. All original. Garaged every day. Driven sparingly in winter. Black interior like new. Leather treated 2X/yr with Coach Leather Moisturizer. Saab mats and carpets. Non smoker. Paint's great except non-visible tiny rock pits low in the front spoiler, and a few imperfections here and there. Runs and drives like a new car. No rattles, leaks or smoke. Harman Kardon sound. Never driven hard/always babied. No accidents (rear bumper was lightly tapped in a parking lot, but all fixed). Rock steady at speed and very fast. Ice Cold AC. Everything works except the power radio mast. Professionally maintained by ConnTech Saab in RI. Have all service records, including original window sticker (List price $43,065!), owner's manual etc. Oil changed every 3K. Mags have never seen winter. New Michelins. Set of snows on rims included. Just replaced water pump, serpentine, tensioner and front axle seal. Older head gasket replacement and DI Module. Always complemented by Saab aficionados. Losing garage space so car must go to a new owner that will care for it like I have.

One owner car, garage kept, purchased in 1997. Serviced by MotorWerks until Saab stopped manufacturing. Enjoyed the car so, I purchased another 97 9000. Believe it was the best vehicle the Swedes made. If I had a 3 car garage, I would never sell it. Over the last year, I spent over $3,000 - never thinking of selling. However, my wife said "Can't we buy a new car", for Mothers' Day I purchased her a new SUV. Items done in 2016-17 - Head Gasket & Timing Chain, Value Cover Gasket, Heater Core & hoses, New Die-Hard battery, Radiator & hoses, New Ignition Coil + Spark Plugs, (Car sold with an additional New Ignition Coil) Serpentine Belt & Tensor Assembly, 2 Tie Rods, 2 Sway Bar Link, Front Ceramic Brake Pads, on April 10th, new fuel pump & filter, Bridgestone Potenza tires have 12K miles, Car is all stock and runs perfectly with all functions working. Saab Case & Manuals. Living in the Chicago area, & owning two 9000's, rust spots occurred in the same identical spots. Both rear quarter panels & a few other spots need cosmetic treatment - A Swedish Engineering Design Flaw.

Runs and drives great. I've owned it for 18 months. The following has been done in the last year: New Shocks, New heater core, New Exhaust flex pipe, new tires (Nokian Entyre - less than 600 miles on them). All systems work. AC, heat, climate control, power locks, windows, sunroof. New battery. Great leather interior. Folder on information dating back to early 2000s. I would drive this car anywhere. Clean NY title in my name. Known issues: The power antenna doesn't retract all the way. There is a small crack in rear bumper. There is a small rust bubble starting on the driver front wheel well. Cruise control doesn't work, but a new unit is included. Crack in dash. Comes with extra parts, Extra DI cassette, belts, gaskets, cruise control module, fuel and oil filters, original manual and service book, and Haynes manual. Suffered a massive stroke late '14. Had to face the end of driving finally. Has been parked since 14. Have a new in the box transmission from Ericsson driven less than 3000 miles.
Owner of the 9000 over 4 years and 50k and necessary parts. When parked it needed a compressor and radio. Drives awesome as 9000s do. I have owned 4 9000s and family has had 3 more. Love the 9000 and want it to have a Saab family.

Extremely clean 9000 CSE 2.3L Turbo with extensive service history dating back to '97. At 177,xxx miles, it has averaged only 7,600 miles per year. I bought this car from the original owner 3 years ago. I've since invested over $7k during the course of a massive overhaul (note: This car is stock. No performance improvements). Every single item in the car is fully functional except for the driver's heated seat (I haven't looked into repairing this since the car hasn't been driven in winter in over a decade), intermittently functioning cruise control, and A/C that works but needs a charge (I only drive the car in fair weather with windows down so I haven't bothered recently). Turbo reaches maximum boost on open throttle and car handles like a dream on the included 16" Aero wheels (original 15" rims included for free if desired). Manual transmission shifts smoothly and deliberately. Completely rust-free inside and out. This is a non-TCS 9000 that has been run on 91+ octane only for the life of the vehicle. Major services performed since purchase include: Clutch. Rear Main seal. Heater Core. Blower motor. New belts/pulleys/tensioners. Motor mounts. Valve Cover Gasket. Brakes and Rotors. DI Cassette. Air/fuel/cabin filters. Spark Plugs. New tires and battery. I have every single piece of documentation that came with the original sale in 1994, including collectible design brochures and the suede owner's manual booklet. A recent addition to the family means it's time to hand off the toy to someone else. This is the fifth SAAB that I've owned and I'd like to see it go to another enthusiast that will keep one more of these cars on the road for a long time to come. Rust-free Northwest car, maintained by Scanwest since at least 2000. Chip reflashed by Mike D Tuned for more power; still passes smog test, and mileage seems unaffected. Recent fuel pump and tires. Drive train in great shape; doesn’t burn oil. Minor issues: some warping in front rotors, wear hole in driver’s seat bottom, dent in driver-side door, headlight wipers just stopped working. Assorted extra parts including DI cassette, clock unit, door-lock relay. Back-up alarm, custom-for-9000 Thule roof bars. Purchased new from Kelly Saab Atlanta, November '97, this 9000 CSE has many Aero components and was my daily driver until 2 weeks ago. It has a persistent check engine light, P0130, and will not pass GA emissions test. Car adult driven in SE and garaged since day one; most body hardware is in excellent condition, w/no visible rust. Vehicle was never involved in an accident. Sand interior's excellent, with no tears in leather, etc. Vehicle was serviced by Bob Sullivan, Tom Townsend and Lee Adams for the past 10 years. 5 speed replaced w/rebuilt @107k miles, ignition cassette w/lightly used OEM; otherwise all replaced parts were new OEM's, or better, including Bilsteins and meaty Pilots. In addition to CEL the following needs attention: A/C (3 yo Sanden) weakens w/temps >90F, one rear door doesn't open, slow power door locks and driver's seat, occasional pulley noise on startup, driver's CV joint occasionally ticks, chipped windshield, and recently developed power steering fluid leak. Heater core and cabin fan motor were replaced and fluids faithfully changed. No pets, no kids. Sad day, hate to give it up. I am helping an elderly family friend sell this rare 1990 9000 CD. The story is that this car was purchased in Japan by a US serviceman, and then it was moved to Hawaii, where the current owner purchased it. Driven gingerly by the same woman for over 25 years, the car is in good overall condition. It is very unique in that it has a 4 cyl, 5 speed manual with cloth seats and manual A/C dials. This combination is almost unheard of in this model. Also, it does have a steel sunroof. Runs and drives well, good brakes with older tires that do have tread. Needs TLC. This is a driver project car. I have 3 original keys and some documentation. Car sat outside for periods of time, so there are some cracks on the dash and faded paint. Increasingly rare rust-free 1995 Aero. Black leather interior. In our family since 7/2013. NM, AZ, Texas car... Zero rust. Daily driver; service history to 4/1999. Carefully maintained w/ a few cosmetic items due to AZ sunshine: faded paint, a crack on dash cover, clearcoat mostly gone. Seat heaters, power windows, power locks all work; strong turbo. Last three years: new Saab OE SEM DI cassette, all new motor mounts, new CPS, Optima AGM battery, all filters including PS, valve cover gasket, K&N air filter, transmission/ brake/power steering fluids flushed, Mobil 1 synthetic oil, many small interior trim/DCC lights fixed. Front pads, rotors. Glitches: driver's seatback shifts back if pushed hard. Front passenger seat back flex cable is bad. Left rear door lock stuck closed. Newest repairs: entire catback exhaust, rear rotors, pads, new power steering hoses, serpentine belt, tensioner shock, pulleys, fuel pump, front main seal, driver's window regulator, NGK spark plugs, new water pump. Looking for a happy home for this lovely 9000. The previous owner of this car decided he didn't want to fix the car anymore and it was on its way to the junkyard. He said it just needed a new clutch. I bought the car in hopes of flipping it and am just trying to recover my costs (which are $1900). I have since replaced the clutch and slave cylinder and it is back on the road! It does have some other issues (mainly the speedo sensor is not working) but does not keep it from being a functional daily driver. Hoping to find someone that can put some love into this car. I have too many SAABs already. Still a lot of miles left in this beauty! Clean MT title and current plates in my name. Car is located in Southern California. Time for me to depart with my 1997 Manual Aero. Gotta say this is hard for me to do. This car was the Peoples choice 1st place winner at Saabs at Carlisle in 2004, 2005 and 2013. I am the second owner and this has been my pet project since 2003. Decided on a full rebuild in 2013 at 194K with performance in mind. Car has a full 3" custom turbo back stainless exhaust. Decided on going with the JZW Stage 3+ Tuning package with a rebuilt 19T Turbo and Green Giant Injectors. Car has the 3" ETS intercooler, GS stainless intake pipe with silicone couplers. New radiator, all new hoses. Engine pulled, resurfaced the head, block, new head gasket, new rings, rod bearings, valve seats, CPS, For the drive train I decided on a SPEC Stage 3 Clutch to handle the new power. All drive shaft components replaced. New brake calipers, and rotors. Silicone upper engine mounts, new rubber transmission mount, new lower engine mounts. New Bilsetin front struts. GS front strut bar. The list goes on. New alternator, water pump, oil pump gears. For the inside, changed out the seatcovers for Saabstuff custom two tone perforated leather ones. Saab Logo floor mounts. At the end of this refresh I intended on a full repaint for the body but after 12K already spent I just could not justify it then nor can I now. Anyway this car is a beast and looking for somebody to put the finishing touches on her and take it back to Carlisle. Comes with a set of Blizzaks on Super Aero wheels. Currently running aftermarket 17's with new Sumitomos. Air is cold but the radio is broke and cruise control does not work. Body is not perfect and it's showing its age with typical wear and tear and a little scale rust on the drivers A pillar. New OEM lower air dam that is not painted. Most likey more new parts than I can remember. Car has a fresh Pa inspection. Great car, I just don't drive it and can't justify finishing the body to the standards I would want. I have all the pictures of the rebuild. This car will put a smile on your face. Most all records on hand even from the previous owner. No tire kickers please.

CLEAN MI title. 17" Ronal R38 wheels with spacers, also comes with 15" 9000 wheel/tire set that was used if the car was driven in the winter. Koni adjustable shocks and struts on trimmed Aero springs. No rust on body panels. T5suite flashed with 'stg2' tune, also modified to use T7 BCV. Forge 007 diverter valve and open air filter. New battery. Alpine head unit with iPod input, 10" alpine subwoofer and Alpine 10" subwoofer. Magnaflow muffler and high-flow catalyst. Black Aero interior. Many spare parts from this 9000, as well as spares from old-style 9000s also. Needs some general tlc - car has been driven only periodically the past 2 years. Has a new battery with warranty. Driver's seat has a long rip in the bottom. Crack in rear spoiler and crack in rear valence panel. Currently only in base boost, it may be as simple as the wastegate clip has come undone. ABS light is on - likely a wheel speed sensor issue. No CELs. Looking to send this Aero to a good enthusiast home, as I don't have enough time to enjoy, or drive the car!
