1997 Aero in good condition. Black on Black with 5 speed manual transmission. Garaged for the last 10 years, sin ce I bought it as 2nd owner. it took me a year to find this car when I purchased it. Well cared for and regularly maintained- no smo kers, no pets. The Recaro seats are SPECTACULAR. IF you are looking at this, you know what they look like. Custom floor mats, bui lt in radar detector (in pocket where ashtray used to be). Reasonable wear for a 12 year old car. Rides like a rocket. Very clean car. Other than a couple of led's behind the dash being out, and one light switch for a rear door, everything on this car works, in cluding the sunroof and radio. Front electric seats are fully adjustable. Plus this car has lots of room for passenger and cargo . With the rear seats down you can take a transport a couple of 4 drawer file cabinets. 1991 Saab 9000 Turbo. 129K miles. Automatic Transmission. The car was restored in 2007 with a custom two tone base/clear paint job. Tan leather interior, with upgraded burled walnut dash. Upgraded 17 inch wheels with Pirelli 225/45-17 tires. Tinted windows. Amp an d speakers added to stereo. The air conditioning has been converted to R134 and blows ice cold. This car has been very well maintain ed with paperwork to support work done. The only bad is cracked dash pad in center, and heated seats don't work. Has not been drive n in winter since restoration. Beautiful white aero with extrememly low miles. I am the second owner. I purchased this car in Feb 2009 from an Audi dealer in Chicago. I was told that they took it on trade from a guy that purchased an R8 from them and drove this car on we ekends only. I have had no problems with this car. It is nearly flawless. There are no dash cracks, leather is near perfect, brand new eagle GT tires (less than 500 miles) on Super Aero rims with no curb rash. Heated seats and cruise control do not work. First $1000 takes it. This a good running car. It is still my daily commuter. It does have a lot of miles on it but it runs good. I recently had the valve cover off to replace the gasket and the inside of the motor looks spotless. Recently I have replaced the Rad, upper rad hose, lower rad hose, thermostat, valve cover gasket, 4 tires. Recent PA ispection. Now for the bad stuff. The AB S light is on and the car needs a clutch and rear main seal. The car still drives but if you floor it in 5th gear and let the turbo spool up it will slip. For sale is my pristine ~R97 Aero, Imola red over black leather, with 109,000 miles. 9000 fans know that ~R97, the last year of the Aero, was arguably the finest automobile SAAB has built. This is a no excuses, 2 owner car, in my possession since 2002. At 109,0 00 miles, it is barely broken in. Manual 5-speed, with sunroof. Interior is spotless, with unmarked Recaro leather seats, the nices t I have ever sat upon, which have been regularly treated with Zymol. Tires are Dunlop 8000s, with less than 10,000 miles of wear. Car comes with two additional OEM 3-spoke wheels with mounted Dunlops. Battery 2 years old, brake fluid bled and replaced at least every two years, oil (Pennzoil) and filter changed every 3,000 miles. Exhaust, including cat, has been replaced, along with brake pads, fuel filter, air filter, ignition cassette, and other routine maintenance items. Most recent work includes new rear Bilstein shocks, new serpentine belt and pulleys, new top motor mount, and fresh radiator coolant. Some spare parts will be included with th e sale, as well as maintenance log. Never smoked in, no accidents, and no rust. This stock non-tcs manual Aero runs and drives great, makes full boost, gets great mileage, and runs perfectly normal temps. The ai r blows cold and everything works. The clutch is in great condition with no slip. The brakes have about 50% life left front and rea r. It has virtually no timing chain noise, the engine is extremely quiet at idle, and does not leak anything on the ground. Recent maintenance includes a new custom mandrel bent 2.5" downpipe with a new 2.5~T converter from the o2 sensor to the first muffler , Bosch battery, new tie-rod ends, alignment, Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Has Pirelli P-Zero M&S tires in the 225/50 size, they have more than 50% tread left and were recently balanced. Fourth gear is notchy to get into, and the radio code does not always stay. Though the 9000 is no longer made, few will dispute that the full-throated, 200-horsepower 5-door hatchback from the Pre-Sludge Era is a better used SAAB buy in the four-figure price range. This 68,000-mile, accident-free, adult-driven 1997 9000 CSE Turbo has a quiet suspensi on and fresh Bridgestone 60-series tires. Its original windshield was replaced last Thursday. The interior has never been smoked in . The rear-center seatbelt has never been used. A remarkable amount of "new car smell" remains; the cabin can aptly be termed a "ti me capsule." This is a very nice 1997 Saab 9000 CSE Turbo 5-door hatchback sedan in great condition. One previous owner, fully loaded, champagne exterior with tan leather interior, automatic, turbocharged, all power options, sunroof, dual power heated seats, keyless entry w/ a larm, nice aftermarket CD player, climate control, extremely comfortable, no wrecks or issues, clean carfax, well serviced with 1 pr evious owner with many records. Past maintenance included various fluid flushes, BG products, etc...no expense spared. Perfect black on black manual 9000 Aero. Needs no maintenance runs absolutely perfectly. Interior in excellent condition, seats in tip top shape, radio and CD unit reconditioned by Wasyl at Saabradio. No expense spared, when I redid the engi ne gaskets I had the cylinders inspected and replaced 4, the timing chain and pulleys were replaced, the block was ported and polish ed, new AC, throttle body, TCS, alternator, blower motor, air intake, radiator, DI cassette, completely rebuilt turbocharger, stainl ess brake lines, Zimmerman rotors, clutch master and slave cylinder, CV boots, JT 3" exhaust from the turbo back,etc, etc. All items have been taken care of the car is fully sorted and everything works perfectly.

Car looks good, wheels refinished when new tires were mounted. Interior clean, needs headliner and driver seat split b ut not torn. Needs new clutch and slave cylinder, otherwise ready to drive. Unfortunately I am forced to sell my beloved Aero. I needed a truck and can't keep both vehicles. This is a awesome low mileage Ae ro that runs and drives great. I purchased the car from a dealer in February 2004 with 46,000 miles, it had been traded in by the o riginal owner. So I am the second owner. I have run Mobil One oil and premium fuel only, since I have had it. The car was in grea t shape when I bought it, but it did need some routine maintenance. Since I bought the car I have replaced the turbo by-pass valve, the APC boost control valve, starter, exhaust flex pipe, serpentine belt and pulleys, plugs, clutch, clutch slave, clutch master, n ew pads and rotors (cross drilled in the front) on all 4 corners, one new caliper in the rear to fix the parking brake. Shortly aft er I bought the car the clutch went out and I believe during the tow to the shop 4th gear syncro was damaged. I got the car back an d it would not go into 4th. I had the tranny shipped down to Mile Hi body shop in Denver, Saab specialist's since 1969. I had Jerr y Danner, the owner rebuilt the tranny personally, 60,000 miles later and it is still shifting perfect. Now the car has some quirks and is not perfect, the ABS and TCS light are on, the TCS works but the ABS does not. I have had it checked out we have not been a ble to figure it out, the code was a missing ground from the ABS relay. One of the CV joints is starting to click a little. I had t he exhaust replaced from the cat back and the guy did not do the nicest job, but it has no leaks, just ugly. The drivers seat shows some wear and the stitching is pulling apart, but it can easily be re-stitched. The drivers seat heater does not work, and the rec line switch is broken off. The exterior has some small dents and scratches but NO RUST, and the front air damn is cracked along the bottom. This car still drives great and runs fast and has many more miles left in her. I have the factory Thule bars for it as wel l as an extra set of alloy rims and summer tires, winter tires on the factory aero rims. Both sets of tires are all but worn out an d would need replacement soon.
Last year for 9000 Aero, well cared for by Central Penn SAAB Club member, all SAAB service records, garaged, nonsmoker, all original , 16" Aero new gen wheels (exposed lug nuts) w/Ventus HRII tires tread good, extras include: 15" SAAB BBS wheels w/Dunlap Sport 5000 tread fair, roof rack, rear hatch rubber mat, winter and summer floor mats and wiper blades, extra DI cassette. Runs stro ng, all is working, exterior and interior good shape, no major issues. Only issue is sunroof does not retract but does flip up.

This is a very nice Aero which IC-ve spent roughly about 5000 on in the last 2 years. This 9000 has been great to me. I am the third owner. There is significant damage to the rear end. Aside from that and some missing clear coat on the hood and hatch, the car is in great shape. Engine and transmission run great. Had oil changed religiously every 3 k miles. New H-rated tires with less than 10k miles on them. Black interior with dark gray upholstery. AM/FM/cassette with radio cod e and Owner's Manuals. It has tons of great parts. It is a great parts car for a SAAB lover to keep their machine going, or for a me chanic to part out. I just don't have the time or tools to do it myself.

This is a 1998 saab 9000 cse,that was saab cerified when under 100 k,one owner,out of conn. 120k,,fully service,including,heater cor e,water pump,serptine belt,pulleys,battery,and the transmission has been flush,had the windshield replace,because it was pitted,,thi s car is very clean,rust free,always garage,and is a great buy,at 70 mph this car gets 30 plus miles a gallon,and its a joy to driv e,with all the comfort.1998 was the best year and we all know this is ready for another 120k, will sell with 100% warranty.

1 month old Ronal RT 17" wheels (made by factory saab company, cost of $840) with Nokian Hakkapeliita 4 studless winter tires of the same age (cost of $580). Also, 1 set of Michelin GForce summer tires with 600 miles on them (cost of $600). This car has been totally babied its whole life. I've had it for two years and haven't had to do anything but regular service. Shocks and bushings were replaced at 115k so it rides on rails. 250hp and 30mpg (or better) on the highway. Merging on the highway is super fun. Have all receipts since i've bought it an a few from before. This is my 4th Saab so you can say i'm a Saab nut....clearly i wasn't planning on selling it but i've just bought a home and want to furnish it properly. Oh yeah, custom ($1200 plus labor) hi-fi stereo with imaging tweeters...no sub box, this is an adult driven vehicle. Have factory Saab/Thule roof rack included. We can talk about the Thule roof box and ski rack if interested. Also, have the original 2 din radio and amp.

This beautiful 1992 Saab CD Turbo has been a fabulous ride -- speed, luxury,performance. Extremely valuable parts car or mechanic special -- FAST. New reartires less than 300 miles ($200+), electric leather seats, electric sideviewmirrors, new DI cassette, light assemblies all function; this car passedinspection in DC a year before I stopped driving it. Have all service recordsshowing parts replaced (total over $15K). Body almost perfect; doors, trunk,hood -- undamaged, with beautiful teal lacquer. Headliner intact; all windowmotors and gizmos work. Rear brakes recently redone, a lot more...The engine isin excellent shape; well-maintained. HOWEVER. For sale is a 5 speed 1996 SAAB 9000 Aero. Black leather interior, dark woodaccents and 5 speed. It is in excellent running condition and is owned by a SAABenthusiast who upgraded to a 9-5 wagon. The front left wheel bearing, fuel pump,DI cassette and heater core were recently replaced. 1991 Saab 9000 Turbo. I bought this car 6 years ago from the original owners son. He had beat the crap out of it until the engine seized. I bought a low mileage (50K, od at 180k)) 2.3L from Goldwing and swapped it in. Car has always ran very strong, and if you have ever driven a 9000 turbo you know what I mean. Now, however, it is time to part with it since the transmission has now stopped engaging in 3rd and 4th gear. I don't want to shell out the dough for a rebuilt trans from Ericson and I haven't been successfull trying to find a donor. The good: Newer Turbo w/ less than 4000 miles on it, new DI cassette from eEuro, rims are decent should polish up nice, 2 new tires and 2 good used on it, newer alternator and radiator, good glass. The bad: everything else, headliner shot, intermitant wipers inop, no cruise, no ac, drivers seat thread, frt pass door window inop, rust in rr fender area. Delivery negotiable.
2nd owner of this meticulously maintained vehicle with detailed history of all service performed. All service was either performed by Saab of Westport, CT or Imported Automotive of Trumbull, CT. The vehicle features the OEM 225 hp turbo and sport suspension. The engine runs very strong, uses no oil and still gets great mileage. The engine compartment is immaculate. The car is fully loaded - power moonroof (no leaks), CD in dash, 6 disc CD changer in trunk, heated seats, PW, PS, PDL, factory alarm, 5 speed, climate control, even the original brand new floor mats. Exterior of car is in very good condition (8.5/10) with glossy paint and looks great. There is, however, some minor surface rust on rear wheel wells, as well as some minor scratches. Interior of car is in very good condition (9.5/10). The driver's seat and steering wheel are showing wear, however, the rest of the interior (passenger seats/dash/headliner/trunk, etc.) is in showroom condition.

I'm the 3rd owner of this very well maintained AERO. Always been cared for at the same SAAB specialist. I've always had 900's non turbo and wanted to try a 9000, so when the previous owner, a guy I know, sold it, well, I bought it. Well, you all know how amazing this car really is, so I won't give you driving details. I want to sell it because I'm going back to a 1993 900T, and I can't keep all these cars. It's Scarabe green on black leather, only 92400k miles. Zero rust, super clean car and everything works perfectly, except for the automatic door locks that doesn't always. 4 summer tires on alloy wheels, and 4 winter tires on alloy wheels. 2nd. owner since 1999, well maintained, mechanically sound and strong. Black leather interior w/ walnut dash, 5 speed, new street tires + new studded snows on separate rims, Thule roof rack included. A few small dings and dents as expected for the milage, otherwise looks great & detailed twice per year. Interior has one tear in the passenger seat & some stitching coming out in the other seats, otherwise great shape. (typical for the 9000) New water pump, fuel pump, DI cassette, clutch hydraulics, serpentine belt & pulley, CV boots, brakes all around, AC condenser, windshield, no leaks, Mobile 1 every 5000 miles, recent tune, plenty left on clutch. Alpine CD w. equalizer, power amp & subwoofer. Everything works except drivers seat heater. Love this car and would drive forever, except just got a new 9-3 sport combi & now have to sell.
I am offering for sale my 1997 9000 Aero 5-speed. My wife and I purchased the car from the original owner in Colorado earlier this year with the intent on keeping it for the long term as a third "weekend fun" car. Alas, we have now decided to buy a condo in the city and are limited to only two parking spaces, so the Aero must go. The car is both mechanically and cosmetically sound. There are no engine, transmission, electrical or exhaust issues as the car has been running synthetic oil since new and we put a Saab OEM complete exhaust system and battery on right after purchasing the car. I also replaced the upper engine mount and shifter linkage as they had some minor cracks in the rubber as well as fitting the car with a complete set of Michelin Pilot Sport ZR20555R16's along with an allignment. The interior, which is the sand beige color, is in stunning shape with only minor normal leather wear to the drivers and passengers seat bottoms. All interior electrical items work perfectly. I replaced the front drivers and passengers carpets with new Saab OEM carpet as well as new complete set of Saab OEM floor mats. The rear seats and rear carpet are as new. The cargo area is pristine with no stains etc. and is fitted with a dealer installed Clarion cd changer and case. The exterior of the car, while not perfect, is very very nice with only normal stone chips, minor scratches etc. that are to be expected on a ten year old car from a no-salt state (complete professional detail performed in June). I have the original window sticker, complete owners manual booklet with dealer service stamps, all sets of keys/remotes (incl. valet key), dealer brochures from 1997 as well as a fairly complete documented service history receipt set. I am also including a lockable Thule roof/ski rack as well. The price that I have listed is fairly firm and I will be more than happy to help with shipping arrangements if needed. I'm selling my beautiful 9000 Aero black on black leather, the AC blasts cold, everything in the cabin works great, when I bought it at 175k the previous owner had replaced the tranny and turbo and thats about all I know. I recently replaced the front passanger side cv joint, the boost control valve, and have many extra parts for it. I am selling it with or w/out my Alpine/Boston Acoustics sound system, I paid over $500 for it and I would gladly hold on to it if the buyer didn't want it. This car has been babied by me for 25k miles, I use only high grade synthetic oil and replace all fluids every 5k miles. I drove it from Vermont to California twice and it never gave me any problems. All major work has been done only by Saab specific mechanics. It comes with all stock Aero parts, the seats the works. I am in the process of taking detailed pictures of the car and can send them via e-mail on demand. I need to sell my car before I leave for California on Oct. 27th so all offers will be seriously considered.

Pioneer 6 disk changer, cassette head unit. Boston speakers in front, Polk 6x9 in back (not connected -- wired for rear amp). Has a few issues common to 9000's -- oil seap from valve cover, SRS light on, dash is cracked, Missing driver's side C pillar (apparently misplaced when doing headliner). This is a very rare 1997 Saab 9000 CSE Anniversary Edition. It has Green Aero Body exterior with beige special Saab logo seats. This Saab 9000 has 2.3L Turbo engine with auto tranny. Rescue a SAAB! This car deserves a home and tender loving care. Does not have an engine! The body, interior/exterior is in great shape. Very little rust, leather looks good. Small fixes such as one heated seat and right rear window need fixing and perhaps some clutch work within 5000 miles. All it needs is an engine to be a great car! Perfect project car or a fun second car.

Up for sale is my imola red aero. This car is immaculate inside and out, Im ocd when it comes to maintaining my cars. That being said the clutch and slave cylinder have recently been replaced. Along with brembo rotors at all four corners with pbr metal master pads. New avon tech m550 a/s tires recently as well. The exhaust system was in need of replacement so it got treated to a full jt 3in turbo back exhaust from genuine saab. This car needs nothing! it could easily go another 150k. From what I have seen this car is one of the cleanest examples of a 9000 aero around. The interior carpets have been covered by factory floor mats with all weather mats on top of that. Dirty shoes have never touched these carpets! The exterior is just as great as the interior. The car was washed at least once a week and detailed monthly and the quality of the paint shows it. I will be sad to see this car as I know I will most likely never have the chance to purchase one this clean ever again. Email or call with questions, price is negotiable.
Here is a 1993 Saab 9000 CDE Turbo for sale. Its black/taupe, automatic. Recent parts include timing and balance chains, all chain guides, tensioners, headgasket, governor seals, wheel bearing, axles, cross-drilled rotors front and rear, new pads, new front and rear calipers, it has two new tires and the other two are fine, fairly recent windshield, turbo was replaced with used unit. Mechanically, this Aero is almost new. In the past year, the car has gotten anew head gasket (the head was also surfaced and new valve stem seals wereinstalled), new timing chain and all chain guides, a new transmission (Erikssonrebuilt), APC valve, thermostat (82 degree, with matching lower temp fanswitch), serpentine belt and tensioner, new brakes and tires (as of June 2007),new heater core, along with all of the other small maintenance items (newfilters, all fluids have been renewed, etc~E). This is a stock vehicle, and enthusiast-owned. Condition: Exterior (7/10) has the usual minor dings, chips and scratches, but minimal rust. Not a show car, but a great daily driver. Regularly washed and waxed. Interior (8/10) has usual wear to the drivers left bolster, and some scratches on the rear seat arm rest. The leather is conditioned regularly, vinyl mint. Drive train (9/10) is regularly maintained with Amsoil synthetic engine oil, and Saab synthetic transmission oil. Strong turbo. List of replacements within the past year: Water Pump, Radiator, Brakes, Boost pressure control valve, ECS computer and entire Throttle Body (common problem to look out for, resolved, Head Gasket replaced, checked engine block and heads for wear, everything was good, Waste-gate arm (also checked Turbo for signs of wear, still in excellent condition), Air conditioning electronic problem fixed, Z-Rated Tires (10 months ago), Ignition Unit, New Gear Shift housing (makes for nice, precise shifts). This is a wonderful car that is in very good condition. I purchased this car from the first owner in Phoenix in 1998 with 74,000 miles, and it has served me very well and reliably for the last nine years. The car has lived on the west coast, has rarely seen snow, and the body is in great condition. It is still a joy to drive ~V the turbo works flawlessly and the engine purrs. Lovingly cared for. Interior is in good shape. Includes Tule rack and faring. Brakes and tires at ~50%. The A/C system is leaking and not currently producing chilled air; the oil pump needs a re-seal, and the headlamp relay socket needs to be replaced (headlights still function). The car is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. No TCS. All maintenance done religiously (oil changes, coolant flush, thermostat, etc) New clutch, tires, exhaust, brakes, battery. The DI Cassette, Fuel Pump and the Turbo are relatively recent and should not be a problem for a while. AC blows cold. I am the 2nd owner. All service records are with car. 304 SS Steel exhaust from exhaust manifold bakd with free flow cat. and muffler. Nokian WR tires with 20,000 miles on them. New brake rotors and pads all around two months old. 65 K inspection done at Peterson Automotive. Have been using Mobile One oil since I aquired the car with 43.000 miles on it. Previous owner had all service done at The Saab Exchange in Illinois.
Best 9KT year ever, and this one still zips! Maintained by Saab specialists (I bought it from a Saab dealer mechanic) with many new parts and ice-cold AC. Garaged in New York and driven mainly on highway (not city streets). Exterior sparkles, no rust on body, three-spoke alloy wheels. Interior is very clean, gray leather seats in excellent condition, headliner is sagging a bit. Six-disk CD player. Clean Carfax report (will fax on request). Hate to part with this car, but garaging it has become too expensive. Includes winter package of four Michelin Alpins on 15" steel rims with minimal wear ($400 value).
This is a gorgeous midnight blue '98 9000 CSE Turbo with an automatic transmission, beige leather interior and 114K miles. It includes all options -- heated power seats with memory, auto climate control, factory premium Harmon Kardon in-dash cassette and CD player, alloy rims, keyless remote, sunroof, wood dash. Quasimotor~Rs 9000 Aero. Speedometer failed, presumably due to failure of the plastic speedometer drive gear in the transmission. Actual mileage is approximately 151,000. Lack of speedometer disables cruise control and may affect emissions adversely. Approximately 55 k miles on clutch and Erikkson reman~Red 5-speed. Royal Purple synthetic oil every 5 K miles. This was the third SAAB we ever purchased (but not the last!). Single-owner, well-maintained (by dealers or SAAB specialists) 1996 SAAB 9000 CSE Turbo in Citrin Beige with Sand Beige leather upholstery. 4-speed automatic transmission, power glass sunroof, auto climate control, 8-way power front seats. Heated front seats. Power windows, cruise control, telescopic steering wheel, walnut instrument panel, Harmon/Kardon stereo with AM/FM, Cassette,CD, Weather Band and 6-stack multi disk CD changer. ABS, Front Fog Lights and Rear foglight, Anti-theft Alarm with remote. Exterior is in very good shape with some minor blemishes. All systems working. Needs two headlight wiper motors (about $49 a piece used). Brand new rear spoiler as well as front and rear SAAB decals, and 4 brand new Michelin MXV4 Plus tires. It also comes with a set of 4 Gislaved snow tires with wheels. This car was purchased in NY in 10/96 and transported to Texas 12/97 so it has only experienced one full winter! She still is a stunner!

I am the first and only owner of this classic 9000. It was purchased loaded from Meyer Garage in McIntire Iowa. The transmission was replaced by the dealership in Iowa at around 45,000 miles. The vehicle has never been in an accident and has been regularly serviced by certified mechanics. The exhaust system was replaced in early ~R07. The car is mechanically sound but has an intermittent electrical fault with the rear window that is more annoying than anything else. There is also wear on the leather surface of the driver seat that needs attention.
Exceptional California car never driven in snow; seldom in rain. One of just 223 automatics imported to the U.S. in this last/best year for AERO/9000s. Beautiful outside and inside (cream/taupe leather; walnut burl; Harmon Kardon.) Obsessively maintained only by professional Saab mechanics strictly by the book, recently including 'The Big One' at 65,000. These photos aren't the best due to the weather up here, but this 225hp turbo 5 speed is really very presentable at 134 K miles even with a few of the usual dings and scuffs. Beige leather is very nice. Engine is dry, the turbo boosts well, and it performs as it should. Recent clutch, wheel bearings, serp belt, brakes and new tires. Currently getting upper motor mount bushings, vacuum lines, antenna mast, and a thorough check-over of all else by our mechanic. 1997 Saab 9000 Aero, with 90K original miles. Midnight Blue, 5-speed manual transmission, and equipped with CD Changer and Thule Ski Racks. VIN YS3CH65R2V1014430. This is a one-owner 1997 Aero, the last year that Saab made their legendary high-performance sedan, with its 225HP high-output turbo engine. This car has been pampered and maintained meticulously, with only synthetic oil changes every 5K miles. Everything works, and the only blemishes are a few minor parking lot dings and some cracking on the front leather seats (but no tears). No leaks of any kind, no rattles, and the car drives as it did when I bought it at Gary Blake Saab in Exeter New Hampsire. Always garaged and never smoked in. One of the nicest Aeros available anywhere.
THE 9000 Aero!! The BEST of the 9000's and it has a 5 speed. The bad 1st: Front drivers seat is in rough shape and the passengers side is a little better. The rear seats are in good shape. The aftermarket stereo has a short, keeps blowing the fuse, and the antenna motor does not work. There are a few dings, but never wrecke?d. Had to change ignition, so 1 key for starting and another for doors. The GOOD: Very strong motor (tuned last spring). The trans shifts great. Four, almost new, Michelin XGT V4 M/S tires. ($200 each) Sunroof works fine as does the rear wiper. All lights work. I have spent over $7000 on this car over the last 3 years. If you are SAAB guy/girl, you know what it's worth. COMPLETELY redone Aero. Any known 9000 issue done (chains, Headgasket, oil pump, engine seals, throttle body & safety valves, TCS on-off switch, DI, headlight relay, fuel pump and filter, fuel lines, hcore/bmotor, crank sensor and pulley, radiator/thermofan switch, thermostat, ac condensor, waterpump, front window regulators, headliner, front axles, ALL bushings, silicone vacuum lines, upper/lower motor mounts, etc., reconditioned leather w/Leatherique, etc.), plus tons of upgrades (wheels/tires, stereo, iPod integration, V1 hardwire, Bilsteins, MBC+A, full JT). See my post from 3-23-07 on 9000BB for entire list of things that have been done. Only thing it needs is replacement dash cover - current one cracked. No rust, non-smoker car. Fast, solid, fun, EVERYthing works. Mobil1 and filter every 3Kmi. This car has been my baby, and anyone on 9000BB knows me. Happy to sell, but don't need to. Black 1994 Saab Aero, too many cars in the stable now I have vintage cars that keep me busy, I don~Rt really have a use for it now that I have a truck for an everyday vehicle, though not nearly as fun to drive. I bought the car with a bad transaxle and a very good Saab garage installed an Eriksson refurbished transaxle for me in addition to a new clutch, and headgasket and whatever it required. The body is in good shape and it has nice interior and it is a very quick and stylish car. I have receipts that equal more than the asking price, the person before me spent about $3000 just before the transaxle went at 177K. My garage looked it over and reported that it had been well taken care of otherwise, the receipts I have shows replaced parts include: fuel pump, idlers, engine seals, engine mounts, alternator, muffler, water pump. The car now has 188k. I use it on weekends and it is a nice break from the truck. The car has the original CD/ cassette sound system which sounds great for a stock system. I don't need tire kickers, it's a good car and if you like it we can deal.

Black 1994 Saab Aero 5 speed manual transmission turbo hatchback. Great car until September 2006 - used daily and well maintained. In September 2006, head gasket blew, non-SAAB garage replaced engine and several other parts as well. Car has never run quite right since. Replacement engine has 74,000 miles on it. No SAAB dealers close enough to get a full diagnostic test and I have no garage space to work on the car. Car starts and drives around the block, but does not run well. Interior is in good condition, leather has no rips or tears. Body is in good condition, no rust, but a few small scratches on the rear spoiler. The radio was replaced in 2004, but I still have the original. There are also 4 all weather wheels with tires in good condition and the 4 original 16~T 3-spoke wheels as well. About to move to the city and my weekend fun car has to go due to lack of parking. It's got 86,xxx miles and is in excellent shape. Newer DI Cassette, CV boots, clutch and tires. Oil changes every 3000 with full synthetic. H&R springs and full 3 inch exhaust are the only hardware mods. Has euro corners and 15% tint also. I work at a Saab dealership so all the maintenance has been done at the dealership. The car is gorgeous and hasn't seen a carwash in the 3 years I have had it. This Saab has been owned by myself since 2000. Modifications include: Erebuni 8piece molded bodykit, Team Dynamics 17" wheels with Falken tires w/3000miles on them, Sparco gas door, Momo pedals & steering wheel, Carbon Fiberdash trim, Carbon Fiber Altezza taillights from MK4 VW Jetta, Piaa fog lights,Clear corner lights, Autometer Ultra Lite gauges, Custom white face gauges,3" JT exhaust from the downpipe back, Cold air intake, Speedparts frontstrut bar, Eibach springs, Blitzen shocks in front, Icon 7" tv &Memphis components. The vehicle is in good condition. Newer brakes, rotors andpads. Di cassette, fuel pump and all rubber hoses have been replaced. Car runsgreat. Leather is in good condition but power seats need to be fixed. HaveBlitzen shocks for rear, never installed. Very solid last of the breed 9000 Aero with manual transmission and charcoal interior. Second owner anally maintained with nothing but synthetic oil by Saab nut. Runs great. No rust on body but a few small door dings and some minor rust starting out of view. The car has never been in an accident and looks very good inside and out for its age and mileage. During last year has had a new fuel pump, blower motor, idler pulleys, serpentine belt, and motor mount. Everything works but the shocks/struts are worn and the original main computer failed. Car is running fine on used computer from different year, but needs 96-97 Aero computer for full boost. Upgrades include Apline Head Unit, smoked lenses, 2.5~T custom cat/back exhaust, and Nokian WR tires.
LOW 73K Mileage, great, clean Saab 9000 CDE Turbo! Full details + more pics for this car are on the web page link below. This is a second car which has been used only for 7K miles in the last 3 years, so it's in great shape, and hardly ever used. Kelly Blue book retails it for over $6,000! All it needed recently was a new Bosch battery, which was just installed. 93 Saabs are supposed to have about 96K Miles, so this is way under, and has lots of life left. On the highway, the turbo is VERY responsive, and catapults the car forward. All gauges and sound systems work great. No body damage, CarFax is clean. (VIN # YS3CL48M5PI034953 if you want to check.) All season tires are at least 50%. Electric Sunroof, Stereo w/Cassette, CD and Equalizer. Dual Heated TAN LEATHER seats. The CDE was the top of the line 9000 with a REAL trunk, and this car has a TURBO in solid shape. No smoking from the tailpipe at all, indicating good turbo seals. Oil changes every 3K miles. Dealer serviced at Parkfield Motors, but really very little went wrong. This is my 3rd 9000 and I no longer need a 2nd car. As far as I know, I was the second owner. Call now, before it's sold!
1991 9000 TURBO Hatchback Best Year Best Model! This is THE 1991 9000 Turbo. Considered by many to be the best car built by Saab. The fact that it is the daily driver of choice of the many of the Saab Master Tech's and shop owners in the Northwest speaks volumes. This car is an absolute joy to drive. Quick, tight and reliable. Outstanding gas mileage with all accessories from COLD A/C to heated seats.New Z Rated Performance tires & 225 HP Chip available. This car has been maintained meticulously. Transmission fluid every 15K miles. Fuel filter every 25K miles. Oil changes every 3K miles. Things I have done since taking ownership at 95K miles: cabin air filter, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulleys, tensioner shock, k & n air filter, cleaned AIC valve, replaced the oxygen sensor, PCV system service, inerior temp sensor, installed new horn buttons. Car is near perfect condition. Dealer maintenance records until 95K mile service and from independent Saab specialist beyond that, until present mileage. Everything works. Heated seats, cruise, A/C, stereo, cd player (6 disc), power seats, sunroof, power windows, headlight wipers, etc... Bosch Icon wiper blades. Dunlop Graspic DS2 tires with less than 5K miles on them. Wheels are perfect. Absolutely no rust to be found anywhere on the car. The only known issues are an SRS light, three small stone chips in the windshield, and a small scuff on the right rear corner of the bumper cover. All of which are very minor things. Selling because I have three Saabs too many. :)

It's time to sell my beautiful black 9000 Aero as I've just purchased a 9-5 Aero. This car has given me years of trouble free ear to ear grinning curvy road sucking enjoyment. It's been garaged most of it's life. It shines like new. The interior has been very well cared for and it shows. It's got a professionally installed sound system that will blow you away with an Alpine XM enabled deck, Boston Acoustics speakers throughout, an Alpine amp and Memphis sub. Brand new Pirelli P6's. I have been a Saab owner for 35 years and have owned this 9000 since 2000. Anyone reading this ad is familiar with the long list of standard features on this car. Here are some additional details ~V 2.3 non-turbo, black leather interior, 6 CD changer. Some mid-life work includes clutch and clutch master cyl., tensioner and idler pulleys. Some recent work includes exhaust, water pump, windshield (thanks to gravel chip), crankshaft pulley, alternator brushes/volt. reg. and front brake pads. Low mileage Hakkapeliitta WR all seasons. 3,000 mile oil (Castrol Syntec) and filter (Mann) changes and regular tune ups and coolant changes. Haynes manual and spare ignition cassette included. Runs and looks great inside and out.
Saab 9000 1992 5 speed turbo. Great car until 2003 - used daily and maintained religiously. In 2003 lots of things went bad and car has since sat in my driveway. I had a tech look at it in 2003 and here's what he wrote: Car needs full tune-up, oil change, front rotors and front pads, rear rotors & rear brake pads, radiator level sensor, thermostat & winterize, traction control computer, a/c compressor and receiver drier, full a/c service. Car does not currently run but will start and move if the battery is charged. Also, while the leather inside has no rips, it has some torn stitching and is dirty. Finally, there has been some water damage inside the car as the weather seal above the hatch was missing for quite a while. Car has never been in an accident and the body is in excellent shape for it's age. No major dents or dings, just some scratches. No rust. You will need to tow this to your location. You can come and see it most mornings before 9 am.

Stunning black on black 5-speed Aero - replacing with a 9-5 Aero automatic. Superbly maintained Aero runs like new ~V absolutely everything works!! Exterior/interior in excellent condition. Aero seats in great shape - some minor cracking on driver's seat. All maintenance records since purchased and most from previous owner - new front rotors, starter, battery, and recent HK refurb by Wasyl (6 disk cd player in trunk). Two full sets of Super Aero wheels with tires - almost new Michelin Pilot Alpin snows on for the winter - still waiting for that snow?? I own 2 other 9k Aero autos - this was my car for weekend enjoyment. Hate to sell but need the flexibility of the auto for my family. Purchased on saabnet in 2005 from a fellow member. Rare white Aero with auto tranny. 17" Ronal wheels. Mobil 1 synthetic oil used exclusively. Recent service includes: brakes all the way around, new exhaust system, new heater core, new serpentine belt and pulleys, new rear light cans. Always babied and kept in top condition. Must go to a good home.
This SAAB Aero has been my daily driver since purchased in January, 2001. I have logged ~ 80K miles on the car over past 6 years. This is my second SAAB since 1988 (previous 900 coupe). I have taken very good car of the car with yearly preventative maintenance, SAAB specialist mechanics on the, religious Mobil 1 Oil changes and kept it clean with excellent wax treatments. The car passed VA State Inspection in late December (exp. 12/07) and I continue to drive it. I will alert the prospective owner of potential vehicle improvements . One of the last of what's been called the best - Delivered 4.22.97. Looks great - well waxed "color-shifting-blue" paint, rides like new, no rattles or squeaks. No paint or accidents. Nokian tires, less than 15K miles. Interior is nearly new - having only 1 occupant doing highway miles - not stop and go. Only blemish is a 2" cross-seam blowout on the driver's seat, can be resewn. Two owners, Father and Son, both SAAB nuts. Every recommended or perceivable service performed, with every record provided - down to windshield wipers and window stickers. 100% Stock, all badges except SAAB removed at purchase. ;-) - Engine is the B234R (2.3l high-turbo, 225hp/258F#'s from 1950 RPM). This car is a daily driver and in good condition. Has many standard extras - heated seats that work WELL, power windows and door locks, sunroof, original Clarion AM/FM/casette stereo with code, rear defroster and heated mirrors. Just had new master and slave clutch cylinders, new battery, replaced bushings on front. No rust and VERY CLEAN! Tan cloth interior has some wear, and headliner sags in the rear. Has A/C but does not work - all fans DO work, however. Gear shifter has missing top - we have the spare part but haven't replaced it yet. Anti-lock, SRS lights on, but car (checked by mechanic) brakes fine. Maintenence records for nearly its entire lifetime. Car loves the highway and drives smoothly and quietly.
