Working Driving Saab 9000 Turbo. Electric Seats. Bought in 2014 and replaced front axle new. New brake pads. Added A/C compressor from my older 1988, as well as Clarion Saab Sound System. New rear speakers. A/C blows cold. Recent changes have included: New electric door actuators, AC conversion kit to RC4, ABS brake module. This year improvements New Door Actuators New Door Panels New window regulator New Right Turn Signal Lense New Radiator fan New Thermostat New CV Boot. Cleaned seat leather The reason for selling is bought another Saab 9000. Other improvements over years: New motor mount Factory Saab Clarion Radio with digital EQ Tires good. Excellent New Battery Starts right up, good idling Issues: Front driver seat leather torn, can be easily recovered with LSeat Cover. Exceptionally clean fun to drive 1997 Saab 9000CSE 2.3 Turbo in very hard to find Cayenne Red. This car runs and drives very well, especially considering that next year it is 30 Years old. Very solid car with no outer body or underside rust issues. This car does not even rattle over normal bumps on the road. The paint is very nice, some stone chips on the hood and a dent in the left rear door but no paint damage. I had the rear bumper repainted because it had some scratches and I wanted it to look as good as the rest of the car. A can of touch up paint is included along with the roof bars and ski racks, I am just too shaky so I will leave that up to the next owner. Interior wise, it is very decent with some wear to the driver's seat but no holes, rest of the interior is very nice. I have replaced the entire exhaust system, the rear brake calipers, the battery, and installed 4 brand new tires. I am a former Saab Master Tech who has been repairing and selling Saabs for the last 30+ years, but health problems has precluded me to make the tough decision to start to liquidate my inventory of about 2 dozen Saabs. For sale is my daily driver. Non TCS. Black on black. Well maintained. Oil changes every 5000 miles. Full synthetic. Owned since 2017. Drivers and shifts fine. Turbo boosts well. Gonna mis that sound. I've owned many Saabs since 1988. Heat and AC works. Cruise works. All power windows and locks work. 2 remotes that work. Few things that I have replaced over the years. Radiator, upper hose, thermostat, serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulley's ,heater core, blower motor ,upper torsion mount, trans mount, electrical ignition switch, crank sensor ,fuel pump and filter, brakes and rotors all around, both front wheel hubs, both drive axles, battery, hood and hatch struts ,head gasket ,intake and exhaust gaskets April 2024. Newer head installed from 2006 9-5 same time. Crank pulley seal and oil pump o'ring. Aftermarket radio. Black power antenna that works. Not a show winner but a great driver. Cleans up nice.
