Color: Scarabe Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 190,000 Price: $8,000 or Best Offer
Here it is, one of the best Saab's ever built, the '97 9000 Aero 2.3L Turbo. Very good condition. NO RUST. Very good, enjoyable drive-away condition. All original parts/paint. From day one spent its life in Oregon. 190K miles. I bought it in 2017 at 158K - third owner. Exceptionally well maintained - serviced by local Saab mechanic, all records in accurate CarFax. Sarabe Green exterior. No dents, no body work, no crashes, all original, no paint peel, although it shows some of its 26 years with tiny paint pits here and there. Sand Beige interior. Leather good but wrinkled on front seats - no tears. Been kept under cover since I owned it. I am a Saab enthusiast. I own four others. Two 900 convertibles (one is a show car). One Saab 9-5 Aero. One 9-3 Convertible.

- 1998 Saab 9000 CSE Turbo (Posted 3/6/2023)
SOLD
Color: Midnight Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 121,000 Price: $4999
Saab-fanatic-owned; rare manual transmission. Midnight blue over beige. My 18th Saab. Was in my family for about a decade, sold to a neighbor, & we bought it back last year. Always maintained by my Saab tech brother, Viking Automotive. Loads of repair records. Passed Maryland's very thorough state inspection in June 2022. No visible rust. One minor front end accident during interim ownership. Repaired with Aero parts. Too many projects, though, so this one has to go. Mechanically, the car is excellent. Drives & handles beautifully; shifts easily up & down through the gears. Solid boost (video available) & a blast to drive. Cosmetically, a 7/10. Some scratches here & there. The front valence is cracked, chipping, & bowed in one small area. No obvious dents or dings. Interior is very good; no obvious rips or tears; door lights require tape, though. Updated radio; speakers could stand to be replaced. Only known issue: dash cluster needs resoldering/repair. Gauges will sporadically cut out (temp and gas), but return with a whack of the dash, or sometimes just on their own. This can keep the AC/defrost from working (though that's fully charged & otherwise operational). Delivery available for a fee.
- 1998 Saab 9000 CSE (Posted 2/10/2023)
SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 147,000 Price: $12,800
I purchased this car last year and had an open checkbook overhaul done at the local Saab specialty shop. Far too much to list, but all maintenance, wear items, and common Saab problems have been addressed professionally. New headgasket, heater core, clutch, rear main seal, hoses, belts, ALL fluids, continental tires, and so much more. Have all receipts and service records since new. Dash cluster resoldered and power lock relays upgraded. Once the car was operationally up to spec I had a few rust spots professionally cut and replaced with new metal in the rear wheel arches. Photos and receipts available. The only item the mechanic could not figure out was an intermittent ABS light - no faults found. Cosmetically the car presents great inside and out with glossy paint, no dash pad cracks, etc. Cosmetic faults include a rust spot on the bottom corner of the windshield, a small crack in the glass in that same spot, and the usual wear and tear of being 25 years old. This car is a blast to drive and has been cared for with a 10 month $17,000 restoration. Happy to discuss any time.

- 1996 Saab 9000 Aero (Posted 11/28/2022)
SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 199,001 Price: $2,000
I've owned this 9000 Aero since 2009. This is my third Saab but first 9000 and most enjoyable to drive. Always maintained by local Saab technicians (continues presently) and all maintenance records and CARFAX report will be provided. It's a solid car with a lot of life in the engine and transmission. Turbo boost continues to be strong. My 9000 remains original with all power features functioning properly (seats, windows, sunroof, radio/cd/cassette system, etc.) except power lock system works manually (needs module). AC/heating system works very well. I've only used Mobil-1 Synthetic oil with filter changes every 3-5k miles. New (4) Hankook New England 4S tires and all brake pads replaced recently, also repair to catalytic converter support bracket. Rust is evident in all the typical places and exposed to the elements on driveway. Previous owner installed window tint shows signs of delaminating. Thule racks with locks and wind deflector included. All extra parts new or salvaged will be included.

- 1995 Saab 9000 Aero (Posted 11/22/2022)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 156,782 Miles Price: $1,800
Runs and drives BUT NOT road worthy: brake line leak rear passenger side. Engine, transmission, clutch in good shape. Turbo works. Synthetic oil and filter changed every 5k. Fuel pump replaced around 140K. Last 5k miles replaced slave cylinder, water pump, heater core, radiator and heater hoses, muffler, serpentine belt. There is some rust. Frame appears in good shape. Engine runs cool (thermostat may be stuck open). Tachometer runs intermittently, does not affect engine performance. Small crack-leak at oil pan bolt location (lived with this since 2003 when I purchased the car). ABS light on (not a TCS car, no issue with engine performance). Driver seat loose, may need welding. Rear brake rotors and pads need replacing. No AC. Windshield hairline-crack. Parked in an underground garage: Toronto, Canada. Low-profile tow truck required to take vehicle from its current location. Fun to drive. Running great before sidelining for brake leak. Interior in good shape for its age. No ripped seats. Dash in good shape. Moon-roof no leaks. Radio does not work. This could make a good project car. Originally a US vehicle. Reach out for any questions.
