This is one of the nicest 1973 Saab Sonett III's you'll find. A body-off restoration was done. All rust was removed, and every nut, bolt, screw, and washer was cleaned and re-painted or replaced. All suspension components were cleaned and powder coated or replaced. Bilstein shocks were sent to Bilstein and re-built. Front wheel bearings replaced. Frame panels were fabricated and replaced as needed, removing all rust. We added supports in various places, including in the doors for side-impact protection. The restoration was documented with over 600 photos of the process and can be viewed here:
The fiberglass body was in good condition and was not restored. It had a very high quality paint job in the late 1980's that has minor scratches and imperfections but is still very nice. The interior carpet was removed, cleaned, and floor panels under the carpet replaced. Door cards were cleaned. The seats are original and have few small wear spots and overall are in very good shape. The headliner was replaced and missing panels fabricated. Defroster vents were 3D printed and replaced. The interior is in excellent condition. More photos in my Saabnet.com Member Photo Gallery:

Good Parts Car. 1974 Sonett that has been taken apart for restoration, I gave up and it has been garaged for 20 years. The floors have a little rust on edges but were painted. There are Ashcraft sill kits, still in the box, that's included (did not need). The body is bolted on. The fiberglass is good. The motor and transmission were sold. Lots of small parts are in boxes. The glass is all good. The moldings are there. The upholstery is well used, but the buckets are good. There are 4 soccer ball wheels with center caps. I do have the original title and a bill of sale. I never registered it my name (Georgia car). There's a Saab Sonett service manual included. I got the brakes and suspension built as well as several other components done (transmission and engine). life got in the way. Will answer any questions. Just shoot me an email or call. More photos available upon request.

3rd Owner. Car is number 2456 -- very near the end of production. Car is complete. Known problems: Clutch Master and/or slave cylinder dead. Left rear brake slave stuck/dead. Carb needs to be adjusted. Small hole in exhaust/header. Exterior - good - lights open/close; 5 soccer ball wheels, in great shape and excellent correct tires. Interior - fair - all parts intact; could use new carpet. Engine - good - total rebuild at 70K(?); electric fuel pump; Weber carb recently rebuilt. No Rust and appears to have never had any rust repairs. Sale must be local or buyer to pay transport charges.

OBO!!! Nice restoration project, has 90,630 miles believed to be original. I am selling it because I don't have the time right now. Just put on new cv boots as well as a tune up. Runs well. Minimal wear on the interior. Have quite an extensive list of everything that has been done. Needs some fiberglass body work but all very minor. Was my daily driver during summer months for a while. I am also selling an original new front and rear glass windshield with the car. Tires were special ordered from Coker and have less than 5,000 miles on them. Feel free to contact me for more pictures or if you have any questions.

Recently acquired 1974 Sonett that has been taken apart for restoration then abandoned. I think it has been sitting for awhile. The floors have rust. There is a Ashcraft trunk floor pan kit, still in the box, that's included. The body is not bolted on. It does have a couple of bad places in the fiberglass. The drivetrain is still in it. I don't know the condition of the motor or transmission. A lot of the small parts are in boxes. I assume it to be all there but no guarantees. The glass all looks good. The moldings are here but probably no good. The upholstery is there but pretty well used. There are 5 soccer ball wheels. 1 is missing a center cap. I do have a title. There's a Saab book and service manual included. I don't know anything about these things but will always try to answer any questions. Just shoot me an email.
