Purchased from NJ in 2016, this Sonett III has been garage kept for the last decade. That said, it suffers from the same rust problems as many (trunk, floor pan, etc.) It is a bigger project than I have the time and experience to tackle. Plus sides: the v4 runs nicely, all glass is good, interior is fair. Upgrades made: pertronix ignition, new tires, and a new starter is waiting installation. I also have new rocker panels/sills that can replace the current rusty ones. This is still definitely restorable, but would also be a great parts car. Modifications from stock: The car received a black paint job atop its original red sometime. A sunroof was also installed. Popup headlights were glassed over, and new headlights installed in the grille.

1968 SAAB Sonett V4 SN 676. It has been in storage since 1985. Purchased new in San Francisco by my uncle. Have had engine running and driven around the block. Inherited several years ago and brought to Missouri. Good title. All soft parts of interior are gone. Have all other parts. Trunk floor gone, no other rust. Real SAAB rear glass good, windshield cracked. Radiator missing. Car is restorable, or great parts for another rebuild. Leave a message if I don't answer.
