I have a few questions ...The car has dopey tan upholstery that feels like felt. I guess thisis their cheapo material for cars that don't get the leatherpackage. I think Saab leather upholstery is as nice as I've seen.Could an upholstery shop replace the present setup with anything nearly as good as the standard leather seats after the purchase -- and any idea what it would cost? This car must be their demo ... it had 178 miles on it when I test-drove it.Since people don't exactly baby cars on test drives, could the engine havebeen harmed by the driving up to now? Is it a bad idea to buy a new carwith this many miles? Can I check it somehow? The salesman invited me totest drive the car for a couple of hours sometime. He must really want toget rid of it?Looking at a fancier version of the same car, I noticed that its option package included what they called a 'special high output engine'or something like that -- I don't remember the exact words but theyweren't at all specific. Since both cars had the same Turbo engine, what could this mean? Just curious.Tell me honestly now. Is Saab a car to buy for a person who doesn'twant to work on the car herself? I also don't want to take it tothe shop once a month ...I have lots more questions, but let's see what this generates first. Thanks for any help.- Susan Posts in this Thread:
