The Jan. 89 issue of Auto-X contains a letter to the editor from oneMike Ancas about his success racing what sounds like a '71 Sonett inSolo racing (gymkhanas). He won the G stock championship in the SteelCities region against the likes of the Nissan 200 SX turbo, Conquestturbo, Laser turbo, and XR4Ti. Apparently, his forte was small tighttracks, where he had 11/14 wins.The letter is accompanied by a photo of his Sonett in action. It's great to see old Saabs still doing what they once did so often --beating the competition. ==BD System Programmer, OSU College of Eng.
