Everyone's bored on the Saab network, and my'82 900 won't run. Here's the story: the weather just suddenly went berserk, andthe temperature dropped to about 10 below zero Farenheit. I wentout to the parking lot, got in the car, and proceeded to crank.Well, as expected, it took a bit longer to start since it was very cold, but it did start. I let it run for a few seconds, and all seemed OK,so I backed out of the spot, and headed home. I got about 20 feetand it stalled. Highly unusual. I started it again, and it ran forabout 5 seconds before dying again. Repeated this until the batterybreathed its last. I found somebody willing to give me a jump.My car, that is. Same story- it would start, run a few seconds, then die, no matter what the throttle opening. I finally gave upand got a ride home.Any ideas, hints, or anything would be appreciated. I'll even acceptcollect calls at the number below! Rob Gardner hplabs!hpfcmr!rdg Hewlett Packard or rdg%hpfcmrno39sdcx6spamx782hplabs.hp.com Fort Collins, Colorado 303-229-2048 Posts in this Thread:
