You may have already solved the problem by now but it may be the protection system for the catalytic converter causing your problem. Your saab has inbuilt protection for the catalytic converter and it manifests itself exactly as you describe during full acceleration. Its purpose is to protect the cat from overheating. Saab has received criticism here in Sweden for the jerkiness this causes and that other manufacturers have the same protection without the jerkiness. Hope this helps.
