- 1984 Saab 900 S (Posted 3/26/2023)
Share this Saab->
Color: Blue Trans: Automatic Mileage: 110k Price: $3,200
I purchased this car in 1990 at 60k miles. For the last 25 years it has lived in my garage protected from the elements and temperature extremes. Until 2010 I drove it for basic errands and daily to the train station; it made several trips between Virginia and Kansas. It was running very well the last time I drove it in 2010, after which it has not been started or run at all. Looking for a new owner with track record of restoring and actually getting Saabs out on the road. We can talk about a partial refund when you get this car running and take it to its first Saab event. Headliner needs replaced. Several cracks on the dashboard. Stereo is not original. Drivers seat is saggy. The powder blue interior is quite nice; seats are upholstery, not leather. New tires. Includes all service records and manual. Swedish embassy original owner. Import documents call it GLE. I don’t know anything about how cars operate, but I can attest that this Saab’s spirit is very much alive and that it wants to be restored and taken out where it can commune with other Saabs. Located in northern Virginia near Washington DC. Phone call is best; my email blocks lots of messages.

Color: Grey Trans: Automatic Mileage: 294,965 Price: $3500
For Saab lovers only! This classic 900 S has had only one original owner since it was purchased new in August of 1993. A California car, it has not experienced any extreme weather damage. After 30 amazing years, the owner is going through some life changes and would like to see the vehicle transferred to an enthusiast who will enjoy driving it into the future. A great opportunity for someone looking to restore this beauty to her original luster.

Gray Leather Interior. This car is in excellent condition and drives and handles amazingly as a Saab SPG should. I was the only owner and I housed this car in a heated garage since 2001. The car has been fully serviced and is ready to go.

- 1991 Saab 900 Base Sedan (Posted 2/8/2023)
SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 230,000 Price: $3000
1991 Saab 900 Base 16V. 230k, Manual transmission. This is a solid car that runs well. It has the 2.1L engine and shifts through the gears fine. I fixed some items on it and am now moving on to another SAAB project. Pros: Lots of recent work done: new tires; new brake pads and rotors; new wheel bearings; new cat-back exhaust; new alignment; new outer tie rods and boots; new lower ball joints; new alternator; new steering wheel plastic bushing; recent polish (could still use another round however); new headliner, new foglights and new SAAB SCANIA emblems. Cons: As seen in the photos, a couple areas of rust - trunk driver side floor has hole, passenger front fender will need attention.; The frame rails look ok, but I would get this car undercoated asap to stop any further rust; also dents in each front fender; ABS light is on, but the manual brakes work fine. I have some flexibility in price. I cannot respond to questions only asking if the car is available. Thanks! See more photos in my Saabnet.com Member gallery: Click Here.
- 1991 Saab 900 16V (Posted 1/31/2023)
SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 184,000 Price: $3500
Bought this non-turbo 900 with the intention of using it as a daily, then I got a great deal on a 9-5 aero, and now I have one too many Saab's so I am parting ways with this one. Only real issue I am having with it is that it will sometimes stall after 10+ minutes of driving and need to sit for 10-20 minutes before it will start up again. Problem is worse in cold weather so it's probably not vapor lock, could have something to do with the fuel lines. The AC also doesn't work. Recent work done on the car includes a head gasket clean and top end rebuild, new cv axles, battery, and shocks, all fluids replaced, and a new heater core install. Despite the intermittent stalling issue the car runs pretty well over shorter distances. Aesthetically it is a great looking hatchback, and I'd love to see someone grab it who's gonna put a little bit of mechanical work (install a turbo?) into it so that it can reach its full potential. Text, call, or email me if interested!
- 1993 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 1/27/2023)
SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 163,262 Price: $3000
Have owned this car since 2001. Was my reliable, daily driver until 2010. Garaged and driven seasonally until 2018. Has sat in garage since. (Gas has been replaced multiple times and is started throughout the warm seasons. Battery works as I disconnect during the winter). Clutch needs to be replaced so it is inoperable. Very little surface rust (some above right rear wheel well) but undercarriage has some rust due to the Northeast winters. Headliner needs to be replaced, some broken off knobs (seat latch, horn buttons, locks) as well as a broken side mirror (I caught it on my coat walking past it in the winter). AC does not work. Cruise works intermittently. Paint is fading in some spots as clear coat is failing. Driver side seat is coming apart at the seam. Sunroof, power windows, power mirrors and power seats all working. Dash has normal cracks. Starts every time on first try. No accidents. Shifts smoothly in every gear. Car was very well maintained and babied. I have many receipts. Upgraded the APC and mechanics have always mentioned how quick it is. Engine has been great and have never had any issues. If I were more handy, I'd fix her up. I'm not. Hopefully you are! Great car that needs some TLC. Sad to see her go. Happy to speak with you if you have further questions.

- 1993 Saab 900S (Posted 1/25/2023)
SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 225,600 Price: $1,900
A neighbor had car shipped from Detroit, not an original AZ car. Major components replaced in AZ approximately 7 years ago include brakes , engine swap, Seattle firm trans axle rebuild, clutch, conversion to 134A , Mini light style wheels, and paint. Purchaceced by myself almost 5 years ago to substitute in for down daily driver during repair. Damage during my ownership are side damage from neighbors pizza guy, scuff on rear bumper side, Bondo shrinkage on hood, old chrome lip rust on right front fender, and failure of exterior clear coat. Spare parts include new rear coils and shocks. Passed emissions in Dec. Offered with uninsalled factory cassette stereo. Present unit is old but matches another I use. I enjoy driving the car and the class one has in doing so. Starts, runs , shifts, handles, stops very well. It is inexpensive to insure as a collectible and I wouldn't offer it if I had sufficient off street parking to protect it from further risk. Looking for its good home.

SOLD
Color: Admiral Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 35,400 Price: $10,500
1985 Saab 900 base model. Owned for 6 years--purchased vehicle with 31k miles. Everything works. HVAC works great as AC recently re-charged. New headliner. Upholstery in great shape. Never wrecked. Serviced by Tom Townsend in Greensboro, NC and Gary Lewis in Nashville, TN who can vouch for the car. Full pictures and driving videos available. Paint was buffed in January, 2021 while at Gary Lewis shop in White House, TN. I can drive deliver this vehicle from current home base in Raleigh NC westward as far as Memphis, TN. Low maintenance roll up windows. No sunroof. Dash is cracked but has dash cover. Radio/CD player works great. Everything sorted and car always starts and runs. Tires are 10 years old and are in excellent condition. I generally drive this car once per week to get coffee with my four kids in tow. I have all of the service records-car is fully sorted. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the US tomorrow. Dependable transportation. Everything works. No oil leaks. Clean engine. This has to be one of lowest mileage vehicles in the country. I have a number of driving videos and cold start that I can send to interested parties.

- 1992 Saab 900 S (Posted 1/3/2023)
SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 144,500 Price: $5995
Classic Saab 900S 5-speed, 2 door w/ lift back. Velour interior (good shape), tires 2021, just replaced the harmonic balancer, water pump, thermostat, cap, rotor, plugs, air filter. Very strong runner, a beast on the freeway, I got the car dialed in for my daughter who now does not want a 5 speed, only two area's that still need to fixed: needs a new blinker stem, both blinkers work but the stem will not stay put to the right and the steering wheel has little bit of play in it, the column bearing is either loose or needs to be replaced (it is not noticeable to a non Saab person), also the left back corner panel bumper molding is indented slightly (it needs to be removed and heated and pushed back out), . Both window motors and regulators were just rebuild, they work like butter now. Windows professional tinted within state code. This is my 4th Saab, Saabs are a true joy to drive.
- 1987 Saab 900 16V NA (Posted 11/22/2022)
SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 74,959 Price: $3000
I bought this little guy few years ago and have had a lot of fun driving it. Low mileage and in great shape. Sad to let it go but I have too many cars to maintain and I need to lower my retirement expenses. It's not a turbo but still a reliable little runner. Body is in decent shape. The velour interior and headliner, all in great shape. Saab radio and EQ work. Dashboard has the cracks that a lot of them have for this model and age. Only real quirk is that you need to let the engine warm up the first time you start it or it will choke when you try to pull away. Searched on the forum on how to fix that but it's easier to just let the engine warm up for 5 minutes, then you're smooth sailin' for the rest of the day. I replaced the starter. AC doesn't work, never converted. Fog lights don't work. I only drive it a few times a month so I put a battery-saver cutoff switch on the negative terminal. Comes with rear spoiler, aluminum Saab louvres, and Thule rack.

- 1992 Saab 900S (Posted 11/22/2022)
SOLD
Color: Blue Trans: Automatic Mileage: 153,000 Price: $7500 or Reasonable Offer
All original very clean 1992 Saab 900S. Runs fine, no engine smoke, car just needs some on-going TLC to get her into better shape. Generally just been using on weekends and light driving. Typical issues, odometer stopped working at 153,000 miles 2-years ago, cracked dashboard, some minor rust on the passenger front wheel well, overall body condition is very good with the exception of a small dent on the passenger door. Of course will eventually need tires, brakes, etc. Recently put on SAAB OEM complete exhaust up to the catalytic convertor. Overall not perfect, but a real nice all original car. Still have the original window sticker. Clean title, no accident car. Can send additional photos upon request.
- 1988 Saab 900 SPG (Posted 11/15/2022)
SOLD
Color: Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 243,794 Price: $9000
I bought this car in 2016 from Arizona. I was a Saab technician for 20 years in a new car dealership in Cincinnati. I recovered the front seats from L seat in black grey was not the right match. The whole car had sun damage I took the interior and dash out repaired most all the electronics and installed a dash cap and aftermarket facia kit. The cruise works. I relined the headliner. Im not a body man so I haven't done any bodywork which it doesn't need much the left front fender has light damage due to driver's door being overextended I fixed the way the door closes. There is no rust thru on the car anywhere the spot on the deck lid is the worst spot. I put in a Swedish dynamic RED BOX ecu, the engine runs great no issues I replaced the crank pully this summer. New rear coil spring for sag. I have collected so many parts for this in the trunk. The manual trans shift normal no pinion noises and 2nd gear up and down are like butter(Short Shifter). This car has never been in the snow. I have a whale tail spoiler brand new. Also New turn signal lever, Rear louvers and a Bra never seen before. Complete set of dealer shop manuals the list goes on. This car can be driven home.

- 1990 Saab 900S (Posted 11/9/2022)
SOLD
Color: Rose Gold Trans: Automatic Mileage: 116,000 Price: $8000
This is an absolutely mint garage queen southern California 900. I originally purchased the car intending to swap a turbo 5-speed, but the auto NA motor is an absolute pleasure to drive and has been maintained (and garaged!) perfectly over the years. I've owned it for just a few months and unfortunately need to sell as I just purchased a home on the east coast and don't have room to store it. The car is flawless - no dash cracks, leather is supple, zero rust, as good as it gets. The only downsides are a saggy headliner and a temperamental idle control value. Car hums like a dream, transmission was serviced in 2019 and shifts perfectly. The car has sat covered in off-street parking since my purchase and is driven only on weekends (~600 miles since purchase this year) I have priced the car fairly but am open to reasonable offers. If you have questions or would like to see more photos of specific areas let me know! The car was sold on BaT recently so you can see 300+ photos there if you search.
