- 1988 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 1/19/2020) Share this Saab->
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 213,750 Price: $5900
This car was originally bought in Santa Rosa, CA. Spent its life in the bay area and now resides in AZ. Includes service book, owners manuals, some early dealer service records, and some receipts for later work done at Marians Auto in Sacramento. At 32 years old it shows its age but has been well cared for. Engine runs great, turbo builds full boost, transmission shifts smooth. Very nimble and quick. No rust in fenders, boot, tunnel, or sub frame. Very minor p/s and oil leak. Working power Windows and sun roof. Original Clarion with Equalizer. Since I have owned it I have put about 3000 miles on it and replaced the power antennae, installed new rear speakers (boxed 6x9), changed the oil and filter, replaced spark plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires, cooling fan switch, upper and lower rad hoses, coolant, valve cover gasket, idler pulley, and replaced dash lights with LED. Car was Inspected Nov 2019 at IMM Auto, a SAAB shop. Major work done in 2017 - crank pulley, input shaft seal, release bearing, slave cylinder, pilot bearing, rear main, clutch hose (note: pressure plate and clutch in very good condition), fuel pump, primer, fuel filter, Catalytic converter. The car is currently Emissions tested, registered, and has a clean title. Bad: lots of surface rust (patina) throughout from the ocean air, worst of it in the passenger floor board. Oxidized Paint on hood, roof, hatch. Cracked Windscreen. Front seat leather is dried a torn beyond repair. AC does not work - Compressor engages but system need to be refreshed. Hose pipe needs to be replaced (for AC fan switch). I use it to commute to work 100 miles round trip in rush hour traffic once or twice a week, and for running local errands, so mileage will be going up. I have several other SAAB projects and sadly this one must go. It is a solid car ready to be driven or be restored. Extras can be included with the right price: set of 9000 Super Aero wheels; good clean dash fascia; crack free dash with small blemish; R134 conversion kit with Freon (this might get installed soon). Color: Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: TMU Price: $2995
Beige cloth interior. This base 4-door 900 sat in California for past 12 years in the woods, non operated. We rescued the car last February, got her running well - over $3k spent! Car runs and drives excellent but does have a few needs. The paint is baked but the body is completely rust free. There are cracks in the dash, no stereo, and there is some wheel bearing noise. Yet, it has original and complete tool kit, terrific interior, new Pirelli tires, new cocomats and recent service history covering what was completed to get her up and running. Odometer indicates 36k miles but does not work. Currently registered and driven on errands weekly in Los Angeles. Glad to share pictures.

- 1990 Saab 900 Turbo 3 Door Hatchback (Posted 12/18/2019) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 203,838 Price: $6900
Rust-free 1990 Saab 900 Turbo. Body: This car has been in inland California it's whole life and has never suffered salted roads or ocean-side living. The wheel wells do not have rust, the underside is quite clean (I know the photos aren't amazing but I tried to take some quick shots when I for a new muffler earlier this month). The front bumper has a little mar on the corner. This car is wired for fog lamps. The paint is lovely. Interior: Presents very well. The leather is in good shape but the dash is cracked, see pictures. The carpets are very clean and unripped, the floor mats are not original but are custom cut and logo-d. The stereo has Bluetooth and works well. The interior lights work but the cluster light does not work. It did when we bought the car and I have the replacement parts. The headliner needs to be replaced, it's sagtastic. The sunroof does not leak! Mechanical: This car is a fantastic daily driver however it is not perfect. Leaks a teeny bit of coolant from the expansion tank, not enough to demand additional refilling just a few drops overnight. The distributor periodically drops a little oil on the heat shield of the turbo. I have new distributor and expansion tank, among other parts. We've owned this car for 14 months and put about 3500 miles on it. Upon receiving the car we took care of quite a bit of maintenance in addition to some recent work that had been done. Here is a list of date mileage and cost for what we have documentation for: 6/2017 (198,520): Front Shocks, Front Tires, ABS Unit - $701. 9/2018 (200,496): Air-Mass Meter, Oxygen Sensor, Engine Mounts, Transmission Mounts, Alternator, Ball Joint Passenger Side, Left and Right Axle Assembly, Water Pump, Front Brake Pads, Front Disk, Brakes Hoses, All Fluids - $4744. 2019 (203,838): Spark Plugs, Wires, Airfilter, Battery, Windshield Wipers, Bulbs, Muffler - $420. Total Repairs: $5,865 (30 months 5,318 miles).

Edwardian grey 1986 Saab SPG 5 speed. It drives great turbo pulls very strong.
Cars been very reliable to me. Its California car, no rust found at all. Fully
electric power windows, sun roof, side mirrors work. The car is not perfect, but
it sure drives good and looks good. The cons are dash has cracks , AC compressor
has been removed by last owner, front brakes have been upgraded from 9k, there’s
no emergency brakes because of that, I have the stock calipers, just need to
install them. front seats are worn, left side driver fender has damage. clear
coat on the roof is drying out but hasn’t peeled off yet. I Replaced battery,
got all lights to work properly, replaced both front tires installed rear
spoiler, repaired exhaust leak, installed APC module, replaced headlight switch.
Title is salvaged due to driver side fender accident, tags are due. Parts
included are front bumper, stock calipers, ac compressor. Feel free to contact

convertible is in a separate listing. RFS relocation overseas and hoping for an
urgent sale. I've opted to keep my '97 9000 Aero for all around use but cannot
maintain 3 much as I'm an enthusiast. Recent service performed: A/C freon
recharge, new battery, front pair tires, basic tune up, oil change and fluids
replenished, wheel alignment & rotation, side mirror. Other work done:
replaced a/c compressor, fan switch, radiator fan, fuel sensor, steering shaft
knuckle, idler timing adjustments, belt set, idling and timing adjustments,
system flushes , and replaced minor parts like bulbs, buttons, switches, fuses -
all from local Saab specialist. As expected auto transmission gear shifter
engages properly, electricals work, leather & interiors in excellent condition
with headliner replaced, heated seats work, paint and clear coat still intact
although there's minor body dings and scratches not uncommon for a 27 year old.
Upgraded audio to pioneer radio/cd with Bluetooth & USB input plus speakers and
added Viper remote start and alarm system from BestBuy with warranty. Minor
optional issues: Passenger seat wont recline, cruise control intermittent, ABS
lights up. Everything else is OEM as far as i know, including wheel set and all
weather Italian mats. Otherwise it's road ready have plenty life left with very
low miles that's especially rare since i only drive it in the winter when I
store my convertible. I'm considering changing rear tire set, add original fog
lamps, and even include domestic shipping from Ohio depending on negotiated sale
and terms - all for the convenience of the buyer. I have Saab booklet and all
records of service repairs since my ownership. Clean title with no lien,
registration current thru 2019, and passed emission check which no longer needs
renewing for 25+ year models. Obtained CarFax and more photos readily available

Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 148,000 Price: $3,200
Original owner who is looking for a Saab person who will love her as much as I have for the past 36 years. She just needs a younger person to take care of her. She was my daily drive until last year when I finally got a new car (Subaru - it was the closest thing to "Saab"!). Mechanically, she's in great shape - just got her back after a transmission rebuild. Power windows, locks and outside mirrors all work. AC works. Muffler replaced 2017. Tires are in good shape. Interior is in good shape; headliner has some damage, but is not sagging, dashboard has some cracks, fabric seats are faded with only a couple of small tears. Exterior also in good shape; it has some rust along roof rails and at the rear window, but paint looks good after a wash. I have all the maintenance records and official Saab Service Manuals. Hopefully someone out there is looking for a Saab that looks like a Saab.

- 1987 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 11/20/2019) SALE PENDING
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 174,000 Price: $2500 Firm
This is a SOLID running driving builder. I bought this car a few months ago not running and changed the starter and did some back maintenance. The car runs and drives fine now. I took it on the highway once and it shifted through all the gears fine. Haven’t done much since as it needs tires. Car could also use paint, it has been a Florida car it’s entire life so the clear is scorched off. Bottom of the car is ultra clean, zero rust. Some surface rust on the body line ridge on the drivers door from where the car had been scraped at some point. Car also could use a front bumper and passenger fender as it looks like the prior owner took out a mailbox or something with it. Car fires right up, radio works, driver side power window is excellent, passenger works intermittently. Front seats are of course torn, rear seat pretty good. Switch probably needs cleaning. Only selling this because I want a convertible. It’s hard to find these cars on the east coast so solid. Trades for anything cool and 80s considered. Otherwise prive above.

Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 171,000 Price: $1995
I’ve owned and loved this little beauty for 20 years. It is in solid working order and driven almost daily. The engine, transmission, and tires are strong and the car burns little to no oil. It’s been serviced regularly and all repair records are available. I very recently changed the oil and transmission fluid and fixed minor safety issues. The exterior paint is good with no rust, notwithstanding a few small dents and chips, and fading of the hood. With some TLC and polish this Saab will shine again. Interior cloth upholstery and vinyl are very good, but the headliner sags. Original Clarion radio is good but the speakers have shorted out. The rear window defroster is not working. Retrofitted AC recently quit cooling and may just need recharging. All said, this is a good opportunity for someone who wishes to own and drive one of the few cars left on the road that makes a true design statement. Please call or email for more details and/or pictures.

Color: Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: 148,350 Price: $6900
Runs Great, Mechanically/Cosmetically Reconditioned, Rust Free, A/C works, Just serviced by respected Saab mechanic Warren D in Pittsburgh and said its "great car and keeper" - "engine and tranny solid and work as should." Bought from a multiple Saab owner last year in good shape and did reconditioning over winter as a nostalgia project because Saab was my first car. Car drives great will cruise easily and kicks down nicely and charges up to past 80 without a complaint. Just bought a track car so this will go to new home. Car survived Baltimore rust free because owner sprayed bottom with oil. Dents fixed and paint touched up and we clear coated the car - hood and roof paint weren't perfect so up close it looks a little cloudy but look great otherwise. Everything works except cruise, seat heater and it appears secondary audio amplifier is bad cause get "grounding" sound. I was gonna fix but figured somebody might want to go to a different system. Mechanical work done to car over winter: New Brakes, Rotors, Pads, All brake lines replaced, Rebuilt Rear Calipers, New left A Arm, New Driver Side CV joint, New Pirelli Tires, New Weather Strips, New Trunk Struts,, New Steering Rack and Hoses, New Antenna Assembly, New Bilstein Touring Shocks, New Shock Absorber Bushings, New Control Arm Bushings, New Chrome Trim, Replaced Trim Fascia and Light Bulbs.

better than emails and calls for me.
- 1990 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 10/4/2019) SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: >180,000 Price: $5,000
I have really enjoyed this car, but it is no longer practical to own this Saab. I have no one to work on it anymore. It has not been driven in about a year. I have done a lot of work on it over the past six years. Has been repainted and has no rust. I drove it across the country when I moved from Colorado. Runs well. Turbo works. Odometer was stuck when I bought it.
- 1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 10/1/2019) Share this Saab->
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 84,229 Price: $4,000
LOW mileage SPG model - Red/Grey - 5 Speed Manual. I purchased this SPG in 2010, with the intention of restoring it but too many other projects have got in the way. I purchased the car with only 75K original miles, and barely driven it since then - only 9K additional miles in the last ten years. Viking Automotive of Gaithersburg MD has been my only mechanic for work. Some of the jobs they’ve completed: Replaced worn ball joints; replaced shifter assembly; replaced steering shaft; replaced clutch (81K); replaced leaking valve cover gasket. I also had a car upholstery shop redo the headliner and sunshade. Mechanically, the car runs great, but it needs body work. Since I purchased the car in 2010, rust has appeared around the wheel wells, and there are are some blemishes related to an accident prior to my ownership (poor fender repair and pealing clear-coat on passenger side). I can provide more details over the phone and email. Because this is an SPG with a strong, low-mileage engine and transmission, I hope this goes to someone with plans to restore (not parting out). - 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Hatchback (Posted 9/30/2019) SOLD
Color: Cirrus White Trans: Manual Mileage: 193,*** Price: $2500
Here is my 1993 900 Turbo Hatch aka "Stella". I bought it a couple years ago from the second owner. I daily drove it for about a year and sold it to a friend. I bought it back from him this past May. It's got brand new brakes up front. A whole new clutch, master, and slave cylinder put in last year. Just replaced the shifter coupler as it snapped clean in half when I bought it back. She definitely needs some love and that's the reason I'm selling her. I just don't have the time anymore to do what I wanted to make her perfect again. She's just starting to rust in the typical spots. Dash is cracked. The antenna mast is stuck, but the motor still works. Headliner is alright. The interior is in decent shape. Shows it's age but nothing is destroyed. The car is a rare white matched with a blue interior. All leather. Power seats. Power mirror that are heated. Sunroof works. Paint is in decent shape. Small dent at the front of the hood and driver door. Feel free to text me with any questions or offers.
- 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition (Posted 9/27/2019) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 116,076 Price: $10,500
I am the 2nd owner of this wonderful car since new (purchased from original owner/family member in 2001). Excellent condition inside and out. Garaged since new, including four years in a climate controlled garage. No rust. Never smoked in. No cracks in dash and headliner is in excellent condition. Meticulously maintained by professional Saab mechanics and runs like new. A minor fender bender in 1998 was professionally repaired by a Saab dealership at that time. Driver's side seat heater does not work and gas gauge is not reliable.

- 1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 9/25/2019) SOLD
Color: Tally Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 80k Price: $7250
Low mileage verified SPG model - Red/Grey - 5 Speed Manual. No records or prior history. This is a car that has been sitting so everything was gone thru as you would expect. Gas tank cleaned, new oem pump assembly, oils, fluids, filters, battery, plugs, water pump, brakes and rotors etc. all replaced. The hood and front e-codes, spg extensions, grille, nos bumper skin and misc elements were painted (single stage) and re-assembled as a result of an accident from the previous owner that ultimately sidelined the car. Surely it needs some more attention, but with such a solid low mileage and healthy engine/tranny combo you can tackle the rest as times goes by (no popping out of gear-leather shift and boot). Body wise there is very little to no rust - some paint blemishes - not perfect but a great looker. Brake and SRS lights are still on and I'll go thru what parts will be included and what has been tested thus far by myself or by my mechanic. I had this on eBay earlier in the month and the buyer went cold so here we are with some additional repairs completed: hood cable, front bearing, and hydraulic rear line. The original SPG rims are also included in addition to the mounted Michelin's on super aero 9000 rims.
- 1991 Saab 900 (Non-Turbo) (Posted 9/24/2019) SOLD
Color: Gray Trans: Automatic Mileage: 123,600 Price: $1500
One-owner (a member of my family) and well-maintained car with new (<700 miles) Erickson transmission and new mass air flow unit. Interior like new. 4 very good tires. It needs replacement of an exhaust pipe and the heat shield and the mechanic says it should have a new starter. I can provide additional pictures of interior and exterior. The car drives very well and has been quite reliable for 28 years.
