Share this Saab->
Color: Edwardian Gray Trans: Automatic Mileage: 66,972 Price: $15,000 or Best Offer
Swedish Classic: a 1989 Saab 900 3-door hatchback (first generation). 1.) VIN: YS3AR36D4K3007968 2.) Edwardian Gray exterior, Gray cloth interior. 3.) Only 66,972 actual miles. 4.) 2.0 Litre, 4-Cylinder Engine (B202). 5.) 3-Speed Automatic Transmission. 6.) Single-owner/driver. 7.) Clean title. 8.) Climate Control. 9.) 5-Place Seating. The vehicle was delivered new on January 11, 1989 by Victor Sports Cars, Inc. Saab of Abington, Pennsylvania, and was exclusively maintained by them until 2000, when GM (who already owned 50% of Saab Automobile AB at the time) acquired all remaining Saab shares and turned the company into a wholly-owned subsidiary. Thereafter, Victor's business (Victor Sports Cars, Inc.) was transferred to The Great Britains in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania (now known as Jaguar Willow Grove), and service/maintenance was done there until 2007. As a result of a poor experience during my last routine service with The Great Britains in 2007 (and besides for them, there being no authorized Saab service centers located within my area due to the decline of Saab), I decided to park the vehicle in my driveway under a holly tree, hoping for a Saab revival that never came to be. The Saab was awoken from its great slumber just a few months ago, and was transported to a local mechanic shop in hopes of getting her running once more. As according to the mechanics, the car starts when fuel is sprayed into the carburetor, but there are further mechanical steps required (likely related to the fuel line and/or fuel pump) that need be done in order for her to drive. Though the vehicle is in some definite need of TLC, she is a real beauty and prime example of a "Classic 900," considering the lower-end mileage and all OEM components. Included with the vehicle are the pictured original manuals, original tool kit, original classic compact spare tire, and a duplicate title obtained by the owner within the past few months. To those interested, please feel free to reach out to me via cell. Thank you!

This classic is in great condition. All service records from the beginning. It is serviced regularly at Brewers Saab in Maugansville, MD. Oil changed every 3K. Everything works and here are a few things to note: This car has NO RUST, originally from TX arid climate. Scatch on the right window from a screw? She runs great. I take her on short trips on the backroads each weekend. Dash lights are intermittent, could be a short. She runs great on the highway, too. All original tan cloth seats. Dash in good shape, no major cracks. The previous owner replaced the ceiling cloth. Looks amazing. I'm selling to someone who will drive her and keep her in beautiful shape. I am downsizing all things. House is next:-).

Share this Saab->
Color: Light Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 258,000 Price: $15,000
Time for me to reduce the fleet and find the next caretaker for my 1986 Saab 900 Turbo. The car has always been in California, so no rust. I have upgraded the seats to leather, in great condition with no rips, and has the rally Saab steering wheel. The car has an SPG package, including the OEM redbox. Turbo boosts fine. Most recent service I had done was brake pads, rotors and added new tires (June) plus new coolant valve, and has a full 20+ years of maintenance history records. Clean title. Registered and Odometer does work. Shifts great, had new springs 3 years ago so it rides very tight and comfy. Car comes with a set of Inka wheels for the price, plus at least 5 containers of Saab Parts to keep the car going. The headliner is not sagging, it does have some water stains, but the sunroof doesn't leak. AC is leaking somewhere, but if you fill the AC it will give you cool air for 3-4 days. Cruise doesn't work. all stock components. Dashboard all working, has radio with bluetooth. I've driven the car to LA and back without issues. it has been my daily for the last 3 years. Price includes a car in excellent mechanical condition, maintenance history of loving owners, extra Inka wheels, and plenty of parts.

- 1988 Saab 900 SPG (Posted 8/21/2024)
Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 216k Price: $8000
NEW PHOTOS IN GALLERY LINK! Beautiful black '88 SPG! Super fun daily driver in current condition but also comes with MANY parts and pieces to restore it to its glory! This car was purchased a few years ago to replace another black '88 SPG that I bought in college but didn't survive the 25 years it took me to grow up. And while this direct replacement is great, I fell in love with a red on tan turbo that I decided looks better parked next to our SiS (arguable, I know). This car starts easy, runs great, drives nice and gets tons of comments! But, it hasn't been driven much in the last 5 years so needs the normal, enthusiast love. It is also a late '88 so was equipped with automatic seatbelts. I pulled all the stuff from my old '88 (headliner, seatbelts, B-pillar covers, etc) to convert back to the way it should be. ALSO included are lots of other pieces to complete this car, OE fog lights, spg wheels, interior bits, vent covers, etc. Asking price includes the Aero wheels on car AND a crack free dash! Price is negotiable otherwise.

Share this Saab->
Color: Cherry Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 136,325 Price: $23,000
One of probably only a handful of 5 doors in the US and this is an excellent example. Due to spontaneous move and too many 900s already, including another 5-DR or this would not be sold (obviously). I reluctantly am going to part with this one. 136,325 miles (219,394 km). 5 speed & leather. Manual windows and sunroof though. Saab wood steering wheel & 16" Cross Spokes. Overall decent condition interior, minor dash cracks and headliner OK. Very good shape for its age all around. Didn't realize how peppy the 2.1 is. Has turbo exhaust too. Dozens of service records (some as early as 2023 regarding Tune-Up parts etc) Looks like every single record from second owner starting at 2014 (99,000 km), all in Dutch though. Absolutely no rust, body is extremely solid, and the paint bright. However, I was told there was minor cosmetic damage on the rear right door that has been repaired. Serious inquiries only please. Color: Scarabe Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 141,000 Price: $7500
Up for Sale is my 1992 Saab 900 S Sedan 2.1 liter. VIN: YS3AK45E8N2013397. Tan leather. Full power, 5 speed manual transmission. This vehicle was bought new at Vasek Polak Saab in Manhattan Beach California. It resided in Ojai California and Santa Barbara until I acquired it in 2017 where it resides in AZ. Rust free and body straight. I have most receipts of vehicle. Under my ownership I have had the following services completed: New clutch and line, rear main seal. Driver side taillight re-wired for functionality. New distributor cap and wires and seal. New cooling system which includes OEM Saab coolant reservoir tank, Nissen’s radiator and all hoses. Heater core connection deleted. I do have the hose. All four tires are new with less than 2K miles. New alternator. AC has been converted to 134a but still is inoperative. Replaced the receiver dryer and a new AC expansion valve and evaporator. New muffler. New dash facia. Custom coco front mats. Includes a set of Thule roof/bike racks. New ABS brake accumulator. Newly installed State of Nine italian leather center armrest. New LED headlight bulbs. I have restored the bumpers to factory color and replaced the trim. Modern Bluetooth stereo installed but have original. Currently the vehicle is maintained by IMM Auto service in Tempe Arizona. Oil changes and inspections regularly. The vehicle is driven occasionally since my ownership and is a weekend cruiser. The car starts, runs, and drives normally. No issues with clutch or shifting. The dash has the typical Saab cracks and is covered by a custom dash mat by Dash Designs of Tempe AZ. The leather is overall good, the passenger seat seam is separated and there is a slight tear/hole in the driver. The backseat looks new. Needs new headliner. Both outer CV boots torn. Power locks, cruise control, washer fluid pump and heated seats are all inoperative. Paint is overall good for the year. The hood has the typical middle clearcoat wear, the top clear is almost gone and some small spots on the deck lid. Currently there is a fuel leak/drip which appears to be around the top of the fuel tank and has not been diagnosed and will only drip if filled to a certain level. There is zero issues of drivability. Includes car cover, Saab repair manual, various parts including a fuel pump and filter, a water pump and miscellaneous items, and all receipts.

- 1986 Saab 900 SPG (Posted 8/15/2024)
SOLD
Color: Edwardian Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 260,500 Price: $6900
This car is a solid, mostly rust free example about 80% of the way to being a really good driver, or a great restoration candidate. Floors solid, jack pads all good. A few rust spots are there but nothing crazy as far as I can tell. The hood is dented, and misaligned, bumper a little up on pass side. The hood and the right front fender 100% need replaced but the car will come with both. Has some dents and dings. Front seats recovered in black, has a cracked dash and sagging headliner, the usual. Comes with an original receipt from sale, plus owners manual and a SAAB road atlas, SAAB EQ. APC works and boosts into or at the red depending on the gear and conditions. Has a wandering idle when cold that resolves itself quickly, it may need the throttle body cleaned I just haven't done it. Cluster coolant gauge reads high sometimes, I have verified this is due to cluster wiring and not overheating of any kind. Likely needs the contacts cleaned/ground issue. Tons of new/recently replaced parts since December of 2023. Tons more photos/videos available.
- 1980 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 8/14/2024)
SOLD
Color: Cardinal Red Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 145,000 Price: $15,000
Has a smooth running B motor, rebuilt turbo, 5 speed gearbox and front end out of an '87 SPG. Abbot Racing springs,bilstein b6s. Car has had a glass out repaint un the original color, cardinal red, where the rust under the windshield/ hatch glass was addressed. There is a new windshield matching the original tint as well. Manual sunroof, windows, etc. Interior is reasonably good. Could use a refresh to make it a show car. I rescued the car front Scanwest about 5 years ago. Since then, it has been well maintained by myself and the famous Scanwest Autosport. Recent brakes, ball joints, and pirelli tires. Car has always lived in my garage under my ownership, never driven in the winter. Starts up and runs great. Drive it anywhere. Super fun to drive, gets lots of looks, and very reliable since I have owned it. Onto other projects. Not many of these out there in this shape. Drive it daily, or finish it out to make a full show car.

This 1989 Saab 900 Turbo is in very good condition. It is a 4 door sedan with a 3 speed auto transmission, green exterior with tan leather interior, and a sunroof. The car has been serviced by Saab master mechanic David Dickinson at Rocky Top Guru. Everything works except the drivers heated seat. AC and cruise control both work. An aftermarket bluetooth enabled radio has been installed, along with an in dash pop out cup & coin holder. There are a few cracks in the dashboard, and no rust on this garage kept car. The odometer works intermittently. I have driven it ~ 5K miles. ~ 80K miles TMU. 3 season driving during my ownership, garaged during the winter. Purchase comes with Saab floor mats, dash cover, and Thule rack. Happy to have your mechanic inspect this Saab prior to sale. Color: Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: 92,000 Price: $900
Non-turbo 3-speed automatic. Runs and drives! Have maintenance receipts from myself and the last owner. I've owned it for almost three years and it's been a fantastic car, very solid. There is the typical rust around the fenders and rockers. Comes with various interior and engine / brake parts. In the past two years I've done the cooling system (new radiator + coolant) steering rack pressure line, new steering fluid, fuel filter, two oil changes, new battery fittings, new transmission line w/ fluid, and new battery fittings. The only thing that needs immediate attention is the right front caliper will not bleed, and the car does not stop well (would need towed) List of known issues: Broken odometer Air leak in brake system / right front caliper / brake pads and rotors Will need new tires Starter will need replaced (sometime clicks a few times before turning). Time for someone else to enjoy!

The car has a new battery and needs new tires. This car has had one owner and we have kept up with all service on the car. We hate parting with it, but there is a limit to how many cars one can have and this makes 6 in our driveway! Happy to sell to a good home.

Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 37,845 Price: $2,000
As best as I can describe this car: purchased in Vermont with NO title. Bill of sale only. Registered in Maine. Rests and driven in Pa. Cannot verify mileage. Has been maintained and serviced regularly, including top end work, brake work, replacement tranny (now has good synchro and 5th gear), complete clutch and slave cylinder. Car has unconnected fog lights. Hatch held down by ring magnets, Passenger door does not open. Had to install fender flares all around, radio not working, boat/float in gas tank gone, will cough and burp when making sharp left hand turns, never at highway speeds, as turns more gradual, fuel gauge not working. I use mileage to keep track of it. Car came with Barber Pro Series sticker and a phone connection. Throwing in a roof rack, key to which is in glove box. Also in glove box, a dial for lowering the rear end. I have NEVER touched it. Has parasitic battery drain. I Installed a battery cut-off switch which is a fankensteinish, but it does the trick. This car needs a SAAB enthusiast who can do most of their own work. Car can be seen at Ferros automotive, Mainville Rd, Bloomsburg, Pa. Zach Ferro is representing me in this sale.

- 1987 Saab 900 SPG (Posted 8/6/2024)
SOLD
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 237,000 Price: $9000
Brand new clutch, newly rebuilt shifter, newly installed rebuilt transmission (7K on trans before install). Runs and drives great! I've owned since 2021, and have put a lot of work into making this a very solid driver-quality car. Cooling system overhauled 2022, brakes and tires replaced 2021, about 3K miles ago. Salvage title from crash damage in 2004; paint and bodywork done at that time are presentable, not perfect. Zero rust—longtime garaged California car. Seats reupholstered in 2022; interior is very clean and comfortable. A/C does not work (belts/hoses missing, likely never converted to R134A), parking brake does not work as brakes were converted by a previous owner to 1989 spec (no ABS). Plenty of other quirks, but overall very clean and ready to be enjoyed as-is or taken to the next level if desired. Lots of spare parts and complete set of factory manuals will go with the car.

Car has been with the same family since 1988. Ruby Red/Beige interior. Some minor custom upholstery done to door panels. No accidents, no rust, original paint. The only non stock items are an aftermarket stereo, and a Sirius Radio adapter for a Sirius Stiletto. Car starts right up, idles well. Car from southern climate, garaged and covered all of its life. Sunroof, A/C, electric windows, power sunroof, power steering, 5 Speed Manual, Power antenna. Cruise control does not work. - 1993 Saab 900 S (Posted 8/5/2024)
SOLD
Color: Ruby Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: 291,xxx Price: $3,500
I bought this car from original owner in 2022. He had died at 88 years old and I purchased it from his family. I received a packet of receipts that go back all the way to its beginning. This 900 is an S model so it has things like an electric sunroof, electric windows and the electric door lock system and fog lights. (which all work perfectly) On the body it has the rear spoiler, the front chin spoiler and the rear vent covers. In the interior, which is taupe, all the gauges/clock/lights work. Note: the cruise control does not work. It has the original Saab Clarion radio/cassette player and equalizer/ c.d. player which all work. Has original Saab cassette tape holder in the console. I also have a 6 cd changer (and cable) in the mount box that is not installed. I found this but wasn't sure where to mount it where it would be most convenient and out of the way. The headliner is in excellent condition. There is an official Saab trunk liner and Saab plastic all weather floor mats. The dash is not perfect but is in very good condition. The heated seat does not work. The air conditioner blows real cold and the heater is very hot. On the chassis: has all 4 new ball joints and both outer tie rod ends. Was recently aligned so it drives and steers like a dream and steering wheel is straight going down the road. The brake pads are in good shape and the car stops smooth and even with no issues. The brake fluid has been completely flushed. Tires have good tread and there is a fifth tire with matching wheel besides the normal small spare. The tool kit in trunk is complete and even has the original plastic tire bags. Being a 3 speed automatic it does not have overdrive but it does work very well and shifts well. The engine starts and runs excellent. I just had the crank sensor and fuel pump replaced. It has a new fuel and air filter, new spark plugs and cap/rotor. New thermostat and new coolant. Things included: some Saab special tools. The long crankshaft bolt wrench with the two sockets, pair of control arm spacers, fuel sending unit socket, Snap-ring pliers, straight edge. Two large Saab banners. The big red Bentley manual. Some miscellaneous parts. I have an extra transmission that I acquired from Roadtested Saabs before they closed. It has 45,000 miles on rebuild. Full disclosure: even though the body is really good. No rust on doors, door jams etc. it does have the rust problem on the front fender lips. Also, even though the transmission works well it does have a pesky leak. Not enough to have to add fluid but enough to see on the floor. Overall it's a very nice car that is fun to drive. It's high mileage is easy to forget about when you're driving.
- 1982 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 8/5/2024)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 65,008 Price: $14,500
Get yourself a rare very low-mile early Saab 900 Turbo, black with maroon interior. This car is an fabulous platform for a full restoration, with an excellent interior, straight with no rust, solid mechanicals, and very original. The dashboard has no cracks (!), the velour interior shows well with no stains or damage. Door panels are nice. The car runs and drives well and can be driven anywhere immediately. It has Abbott springs and Koni shocks (lower, stiffer ride), but the original shocks and springs are included. I've had it since 2013 (48K miles), and it now has 65K miles. Some exterior details are needed to make it perfect: the front clip was repainted long ago and now the paint appears faded/non-glossy. It will polish up nicely, but then go dull again. The rear bumper has a small gouge in the rubber and there are a few tiny door dings. The headliner was replaced by the previous owner and is in good condition, except for the sunroof. Turn this car into a super-rare show car, or just drive it and enjoy the thrill of the 1980s turbo boost while being swaddled in rich velour.

Regretfully selling my 1990 Saab 900 SPG. Transmission just went or so it seems. It's not grabbing in gears 1 to 4 and it's making a grinding sound when clutch is released. It was working 100% fine before... never popped out of reverse or missed synchros either. This is a RARE spec Black ext / Tan interior SPG (never available in US) with a factory redbox. Most powerful SPG's are 1990 & 1991 because of the Mitsubishi quick spool Turbo. This is also the last year without airbags so easy to fit an aftermarket steering wheel. EGR properly deleted. New in 2024: - Floors have been extensively repaired from firewall to trunk / Sound deadening / Upgrade MCS Short Shifter / Shifter gaiter / Bilstein B4 / O2 Sensor / All 3 Engine Mounts / FogLights / SPG AirVents / Bluetooth Radio / 4 Speakers / Fuel filler neck / 4 Continental All season Tires. All work has been preformed under a certified Saab Master Technician in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Of note: Head gaskets done in December 2022. 6/10 exterior, 7/10 interior. Cosmetic flaws include cracked dashboard, peeling hood paint, detached gas cover, minor dent in driver's side rear quarter panel, sagging headliner, and cracked/missing exterior body trim. I am moving cross-country, otherwise I would keep driving it and am hopeful to sell to someone who will keep it on the road.

- 1986 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 6/21/2024)
SOLD
Color: Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 262,000 Price: $11,750
Terrific very original example of the increasingly rare flat-nose SPG. Saved from long-term storage in 2019 and subject to a comprehensive two-year refurbishment at SAAB wizards International Imports in here Charlottesville. Goal was to keep it as original as possible to create an authentic and strong driver - not as a show car. Systems / key components work and present well including A/C, rebuilt turbo, crisp transmission, original leather, restored carpets and headliner, etc. Remarkably rust free overall and rock solid in all the key areas. Has lived in Florida and Virginia most of its life. Driven 6,000 miles since 2022 and used weekly on country roads for vineyard visits. Yes, dash has a few cracks, the driver's seat is worn, the engine bay would enjoy a good detail, and the trims are showing some patina in places...but the overall package is clean and authentic for sure. Full set of original manuals and brochures and extensive records. Ready to enjoy, or to further improve however the new owner might desire. Serious, appreciative inquiries only, please! We are longtime 900 Turbo enthusiasts and are only letting this great car go to support our children's tuitions.

- 1992 Saab 900S (Posted 6/20/2024)
SOLD
Color: Citrine Beige Trans: Manual Mileage: 184,270 Price: $4750
This was my fair-weather daily driver for the past year and has been garage kept since we've owned it. MSW wheels, Saab Shadow louvers, SPG body kit and vent covers. Full interior swap from tattered taupe leather to much nicer tan cloth from a '91. Floors were insulated at the same time. Fresh tires, fluids, belts, alternator bracket and bushings, clutch hydraulics, and much more. Previous owner removed the A/C compressor. I have a reupholstered headliner for it that needs to be installed. There is no rot in the floors, front control arm mounts, jack points, or rear shock towers. There is one area that looks like an old body repair that's now failing on the right rear fender and one area of surface rust on a front fender lip. See photos. The paint is imperfect but the car presents very well. Big stack of receipts from myself and the previous owners. I'd like for this car to go to a fellow enthusiast and continue being loved and used. Can swap back to SPG wheels if preferred. Selling it only because I had the opportunity to buy a very nice 5-door C900.

- 1983 Saab 900S 4 Door Sedan (Posted 6/15/2024)
SOLD
Color: Maroon Trans: Manual Mileage: 105,156 Price: $5250
Absolute time capsule. Pretty sure has never not spent a night in a garage since 83. Perfect dash, headliner, interior, and paint, trim etc. If it wasn't for a good size dent on the right rear quarter panel this would be an absolute perfect car. Starts and drives very well. Initially purchased to use basically every part of the car as a donor for a restoration project. Even though a non-turbo and the dent, I can't bring myself to parting this car out. It would be wrong. Has plenty of life and enjoyment to bring being a very nice example of an older C900 grocery getter. Just need to get what I paid for it less the shipping. More photos upon request. Email preferred or txt only to start.

- 1990 Saab 900 SPG (Posted 6/6/2024)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 257,700 Price: $1500
Saab runs and boosts great. AC works. Wheel arches and doors rusting, I want this to go to someone who will make the most of it. Ignition replaced with push button, otherwise all original. Comes with many extra parts, all goes with it. I am not the person to restore this, I hope you are. Local West Michigan buyer preferred. Extra all-season tires in good shape. Sun roof works but needs new plastic gear. Electric windows work. I can provide link to all receipts for service since I have had it since 2013. Includes Thule rack with key for knob locks. Underbody in good shape (pics with all others). Handles great. Brakes great. Washer fluid reservoir has slow leak. Very slow oil leak at rear main seal. Autolocking usually works. Cruise control is periodically working. Click here for maintenance records.

- 1983 Saab 900S (Posted 6/6/2024)
SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 172,600 Price: $3800
5-Speed, 8 valve (non-turbo). Silver with blue interior. The car is a California, Nevada, Colorado car with one family ownership before I purchased the vehicle. It has peeling clearcoat, a cracked dash, and some dings and stone chips. The underside and body are virtually rust free except some stone chipping on the hood (pictured). It runs, stops, and steers very well. I removed the air conditioning system and I have all the components. I drove the car home from Colorado to Pennsylvania and made some short videos about the trip that I can provide links to. The car comes with an extra dash board, an extra set of front and rear springs and other bits and pieces. Also included is a full set of shop manuals, owner's manual, and my maintenance log. I have done the following work to the car: positive and negative battery cables, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires, and plugs. New Steering rack, rebuilt front and rear brakes, rear shocks and springs, front shocks, driver's side CV axle, new alternator and belt, upper and lower ball joints, as well as fluids and filters.

- 1986 Saab 900 (Posted 6/5/2024)
SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 275,000 Price: $2000 or Best Offer
Keep a worthy Saab on the road! Selling a well-loved '86 900, runs and drives great, with a few scratches and dings from time spent in Boston. Newly replaced steering, suspension, hoses, and battery, but no AC, and a few issues that I don't have the time to fix. Body is in good shape with minimal rust, except for the passenger door, which has a fairly large dent in it. The headliner and interior is in good condition, but has the usual cracked dash and a dead fuel gauge. Would make a great candidate for a dedicated restoration, electric conversion, or summer project! Looking to sell to someone who'll appreciate the car and will consider serious offers. Happy to send any additionally pictures.
- 1986 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 5/31/2024)
SOLD
Color: Steel Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 147,234 Price: $2,500
16 valve Turbo with a rust free body. Stored inside for many years. Originally from Tennessee. Vehicle comes with separate good engine and tranny. Paint is excellent. I bought the car in Minnesota from the long time owner who took the original motor out and installed it into a convertible. It is a rare rust free car! The interior is good but will need new seat covering as the original leather is cracked. I do not have time or the patience to do a restoration.
