Exceptional condition. Inherited from my dad in 2017. New top, new NOS crack free dash, perfect wheels with tires less than 300 miles on them. No rust. Simply as nice an example as one could find anywhere. Everything works as designed including the AC. I had the car professionally converted to a 5 speed by a premiere saab shop in PA where I used to live (never driven in winter). Looks and operates perfectly as factory intended. Even put in the modern classic saab crisp shifter. Car needs absolutely nothing. Drives like new. New radiator, thermostat and fan switch in 2023. Runs as cool as a cucumber here in sunny Fort Lauderdale. Stored in a climate controlled garage. I am reluctant to sell it but also do not use it. Maybe 100 miles annually. Original paint and interior with no accident history ever to my knowledge. Looks outstanding. No disappointments. Price is firm. This is for a true Saab lover who wants an exceptional example.

- 1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible Springtime In Sweden (Posted 9/5/2024)

Excellent 1988 Saab 900 Turbo Springtime in Sweden edition convertible. This is 1 of 288 produced and is a manual 5-speed with the badge on the glovebox. Mechanically the car is excellent (see below). Cosmetically I would rate 8 out of 10 just due to the age. There's a few scratches here and there but looks very good. The dash is cracked (they all are). The car always starts right up and shifts smoothly through all gears. Turbo works flawlessly as well. As with all SIS, the car is black with Buffalo Gray leather interior. I am the 2nd owner after the original dealership - Gaston Andrey in Massachusetts. The owner and his son were the original owners, then it was sold to a long-time owner in Chicago before I acquired the car in 2021. I've really enjoyed it, but its time to share the joy with another Saab enthusiast. The car comes with Aero style wheels and really nice Vandersteen tires with 75% tread remaining. The top is in good condition and works as it should. Power windows operate as well. The original parade boot is complete as shown and included. Video of start up and top operation available upon request. The original Clarion radio's cassette player has been removed and there's an AUX jack installed to connect with a BT adapter (included). The radio and equalizer work as they should. Full set of Saab carpeted floor mats are all in great condition. Full set of owner manuals and 3 keys are included as well. The original key got bent by a technician who didn't know the car needed to be in reverse to pull the key out. However, the key still works, but as a backup I had a locksmith make me two backup keys. I have had extensive service done in the past two years including a complete overhaul of the engine, transmission and several new components including fuel pump, power steering pump, pulleys, belt, head gasket and more. Detailed service records and a set of Saab 900 shop manuals will come with the car. Since the major service, the engine has about 500 miles on it. Oil was just changed as well as a new battery. This is a rare automatic SIS with low original miles bought at an estate sale. I had plans of repairing the top and rear breaks but I do not have the time and don't want to have it sitting in my garage. I had the water pump replaced at Swedish Imports in Augusta GA, and the mechanic was impressed that they were absolutely NO leaks at all! With that said, yes it runs and drives excellent and stops fine as well, there isn't brake fluid getting through I the rear brakes so they do not engage at this time. I have a new convertible top (cloth) with glass, I have replaced the top motor (new) and have two convertible struts as well (not installed) I also have a front dash facia replacement as well. I absolutely hate to let this one go as when done will be worth a lot more than what I'm asking.

This 1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (5-speed) is one of the original 288 Springtime in Sweden examples produced 1988 and spent most of its time in New Hampshire (single female owner from 1989 to 2024), including the SiS badge/plaque on the glovebox, SPG cladding all around. As you can see in the photos, the car is in great condition. The paint is original, and the best testament of the state of the car is the original dashboard which is in almost perfect condition without the usual cracking. Currently equipped with a Blaupunkt Radio. It comes with the original Clarion equalizer, currently not build in. I bought the car just 2 months ago, but have to admit it's not ideal for the FL sun and heat. This should have not been a surpise to me, but what can I say… The Saab has now 175k miles, of which I added around 750 miles. The car is on FL registration and has a FL title. List of work done since 2022: replacement black soft top brake fluid Oil change Coolant fluid right outer CV boot right tie rod rear upper control arm bushings all 4 shocks were replaced Starter motor was replaced (used part) radiator hoses heated front bucket seats and rear bench re-trimmed in gray leather driver-side floor pan replaced right taillight assembly replaced Work done under my ownership: 2 new original Bosch fog lights 4 new tires engine oil change Transmission oil change Brake fluid change coolant fluid change For full transparency: The A/C does not work. It has probably never been used under previous single 30+ years ownership in NH, I have not had this tested/diagnosed. Carfax reports a minor damage to the car in July 2006, according to original owner the front bumper cover and front left fender were replaced and sprayed. This has been done professionally and with new Saab parts at the time. The car has some rust on the undercarriage and surface rust in the engine bay. Main corrosion has been taken care of by the previous owner (driver side floor pan replacement). Typical areas like the driveshaft tunnel and lower trunk arealook solid and good. I don't want to talk the car down, but want to be transparent. The car looks great, drives great and is solid and straight. Looking at it it's in great condition. VIN YS3AT75L1J7034151.

Exceptional three owner Saab 900S Convertible. Always garaged, and covered. Saab Mastertech went from one end to the other removed seats and adjusted all torsion bars, went through the electrical, replaced any and all hoses showing age or wear, replaced seat cables, replaced steering column bearing, literally anything that could possibly be worn or broken was replaced. The engine has been serviced and much work performed with receipts to show. Some work was done at Sports car clinic in roanoke prior to locating Saab tech. All other work was performed by William Turner. His son Orion can also speak of the vehicle. The car was purchased from a very close friend whom had owned it for many years and great lengths were taken to ensure my fiancé would be safe and secure in the car for commuting from our farm to our home in the city. She travels with one or both of our golden retrievers often, therefore the convertible never leaves the garage.

Beautiful black Springtime in Sweden model which has been sympathetically restored. New paint, new front seats, recovered dash, rebuilt top motor, rebuilt AC, AC compressor was rebuilt and a new AC belt installed, recent tires, new Bilsteins all around, new inner and outer tie rods. The front brake pads and rotors were just replaced, along with the master cylinder. Engine runs great and the trans shifts fine through all the gears. Power Top mechanism works great. Missing SIS dash plaque, but when we prepared the body for paint, noted that the pop rivets were similar to my 88 SPG. Contact me for any more info. Runs and drives, that's the good news! Does not reverse easily. Takes effort, when warm with higher rpms. Also has a delay in shifting 2-3. WILL NEED TRANSMISISON WORK OR REPLACEMENT or swap to manual transmission. Convertible top needs to be replaced or garaged as it is in poor shape. Interior is in poor shape. Gas gauge doesn't work. no A/C. Radio doesn't work (antenna missing, i have original radio with code).as one golf-ball sized scratch/dent on hood. Very consistent maintenance done (I've had this car for 4 years, prior it was garaged constantly in Connecticut). Painted it (70s Saab Sonnet) blue a year ago, was "metallic beige" prior. Paint isn't perfect but it was sanded, applied correctly, actual automotive paint, not spray-canned! No lights on dash except ABS, has regular brakes. Engine strong, turbo works great. Very steady idle, does not run hot. Smooth, quick start literally every time even after sitting for weeks. Power everything works- top, windows, seats, alarm, etc. No visible rust Use this for a parts car or fix the transmission. Will consider reasonable offers from Saab enthusiasts only! Will send photos when requested!

5-speed manual. VIN# YS3AL75L7P7003639 The car needs a new top as it's the worn original price reflects that. This saab is in good original condition dent free no signs of rust on panels very light rust on rear axles but overall underneath it's rust free. The front interior seats are worn and the door panels have some damage the rugs is in good shape it comes with a set of saab rubber OEM SAAB floor mats in excellent condition with no wear or holes in them. Has four recent Douglas radial tires and a new battery. Has European H-4 headlamps in excellent condition.the exterior paint is still in good condition. AC was retrofitted but I never used it. It's a decent saab in need of a good home and with minimal work would be a great car mainly in need of a new canvas top would do wonders for the saab it was quite a head turner before the original top started to go. It comes with a few boxes of small parts and a couple of dash facia's that are in nice condition.

I don't get around as much as I used to and should sell my baby to someone who will use itr more often. It's a 900 'vert, turbo, manual. The top motor doesn't work -- not sure if it's the actual motor or just a switch. Aftermarket radio. New shocks/tie rods/tires. Paint in decent shape, I didn't notice any rust but on request I can go look more closely. Interior is tan. I believe the dashboard is a replacement, no cracks. I have the cover for the top. I'll miss her, but she deserves to be driven more.

I bought it in 2020 from an elderly couple who had not driven the car in several years. I have spent the last 4 years doing maintenance and upgrades while driving it as much as possible. I love this car, but my wife is unable to drive a manual, so we bought a 9-3 convertible that she can also enjoy. Things I've replaced/updated - All 4 tires replaced - Goodyear Eagle RS-A. Date code 4/2020 and less than 10,000 miles on them. - Radiator - Front motor mount - Both fuel pumps and Fuel Filter - Spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap, and coil. - Rear brake pads, calipers, and rotors. - New leather seat covers from lseat.com professionally installed - Short throw shifter from MCS. - All 4 speakers replaced. - 3-spoke wheels from a Saab 9000 (original sunburst wheels included) Posiitve notes: - Nearly perfect dash. - Drives down the road nice and straight. Handles very well. - body is solid and straight. Quirks and issues: - Paint looks great from a distance, but not so great up close. Scratches and scuffs. - Top works but is worn. Rear glass is glued in and there are small holes in the canvas. Not water tight, but will get you home if you get caught in the rain. - Rust forming behind weatherstripping at bottom of drivers door. - Clock does not work - Cruise does not work - Fuel gauge ofter reads about 1/4 lower than actual. - Fuel smell in trunk. I fixed leaky fuel pump this spring, but fuel smell persists. Overall a great driver or an excellent candidate for restoration. I will consider trades for a 900 hatchback.

Black top, believed to be original. No rust or rot, confirmed by a condition inspection at Sports Car Service in Wilmington DE. Paint has remarkably few imperfections, stone chips at the front but no serious fading. No noticeable dents. Original wheels, in acceptable and presentable condition. Dash top is cracked, A-pillars are warped. Recent work includes oil pump reseal, new rear crank seal, recon. injectors, new Bosch 3bar fuel regulator, new Bosch Knock sensor, driver side cv boots (pax side included, new GKN), one new ball joint on each side, new brake master cylinder, new Elring valve cover gasket, new Lasfit LED headlights, new Continental Bluetooth head unit, 4 new Kicker speakers, new RH rear brake caliper, used replacement APC solenoid, 2 spare dashboards, 4 spare instrument clusters, 3 spare tail light assemblies, many spare hubcaps. Original leather is dry but uncracked on rear seats, front seats both in sorry state. Ac is inoperative. Currently has 1987 cloth seats installed in front (originals included) in good condition, one hole in drivers side. Clutch in good condition and does not grind gears. I took photos of this 1991 SAAB 900 S for a client who was planning on putting car up for sale on auction sites. I mentioned SAABNET as option so he said to try there, so here we are. I am not affiliated with car but I did get to drive it for a couple hours to photo location and back to owner's place. It's a clean California car with no rust! Convertible top functions properly. I believe new battery was installed. There's a few blemishes I point out in photos but honestly overall this is a very clean car as you can see in pictures. AC works, might benefit from recharge but it worked and it was 95 degrees the day I drove it. Windows operate, locks operate as do all gauges in cluster. Fans kicked on at halfway mark on temp gauge. Rims are clean and tires seem in good shape. Brakes functioned fine and no lights on dash for ABS or Brake Fluid. I grew up on east coast so it's amazing to see 30+ year old rust free California cars. I can answer any questions or put you in touch with owner to get info on car.

This car is in mechanically very good shape and is RUST-FREE, top in good condition and is working. Transmission shifts as spec. No reverse gear damage, 2nd gear sychro is working, no grinding in gears. Interior driver seat has been recovered, rest of seat leather is original, dash has cracks but not terrible, has a/m radio, has abs lamp that is intermittent, brakes work fine to stop car but when lamp is lit the abs not functioning.

Located in my building in Colorado where we used to live. It was maintained by Mile Hi Saab in Denver. Always used Saab OEM parts keeping it totally original. Comes with all the Dealer Purchased Saab accessories like the folding convertible windshield behind the front seats, trunk and floor mats etc. The paint is totally original and in excellent condition. The top is original and in excellent condition also. The car has always been garaged. Everything works as it should especially the top, engine, CD changer in the trunk and runs fine. Exhaust system parts replaced in the recent past and in good condition. Always used Mobil 1 European oil and Saab brand oil filters.

I have owned this car for the past 2 years and it's been very reliable, spotless under the hood, and I always get compliments on it when I drive it. The car is in great shape, but not perfect as you would expect. I've owned 8 classic Saab 900s over the years and this one has been the most reliable of them all. There are no leaks, transmission shifts smoothly, etc.. It is pictured with a set of aero wheels, but will be sold with a standard set of Saab 15 inch wheels. If you are interested in the Aero wheels, I will include them at a total sale price of $7500. Don't let the mileage fool you, this car is solid and can be used as an everyday driver!

Has the rare SiS glove box badge, but since there is no sure way to 100% confirm this is one of the four automatic SiS cars, I'm going to assume it is a Springtime clone. 124k, new top, new rear leather seat (bottom and back). Absolutely filthy, but the paint buffs up decently. Turned over once, engine wiring harness began to smoke (replacement harness is included, duh). I began sorting it (replacement harness/ignition switch etc.) but I just don't have the time or patience. Car is complete. Comes with the original parade boot in leather carrying case. NOT PARTING OUT. I want to see this car go to an enthusiast who will give it what it needs. No title, bill of sale included.

This is my 1994 Saab 900 S convertible in fairly good shape. The car has 105k Miles on it and will easily do another 105 thousand miles. Everything mechanically works perfectly and is ready to be driven. The car has no rust in any of the wheel wells. The only rust it has is on the two sides of the hood. The car will come with an extra hood, paint, primer, and clear coat. The Interior is in fair shape, with 0 rips and some of the stitching breaking. The soft top has a small tear in it; it should be fairly easy to fix, though, because it is right near the back glass. I have an extensive history of records that I can provide upon request. If anyone needs specific photos of specific parts of the car, I will be happy to provide more photos. Recently, the car was fitted with 4 new tires, a new battery, a new starter, and new belts(one of the belts squeals for a little bit upon starting the car). I belive the belt needs to be tightened. Original paint, no rust I am aware of. This car has nearly always been garaged. The photos were taken with the car unwaxed. It appears that the clear coat is missing on the hood and trunk, and in some other smaller areas. When I waxed it a few years ago it shined! Here is what I know is wrong with it. It no longer has air conditioning. The electric locks and radio don't work. I don't know if the equalizer does. The antenna mast needs replaced. Some of the dash lights need replaced. The top fabric is ¼" off center and can catch in the passenger window when door is closed with the window up. I have owned this car since 2002 and the prior owner said she always had it in a garage when not in use. It has been gently driven and serviced regularly. It starts fast and runs strong and smooth, burns little or no oil. Leather seats are somewhat worn, and in particular from the driver's seat belt. They need a generous coat of leather conditioner. Tires near the end of their useful life, battery brand new To the best of my knowledge, it has never been wrecked.

Based on the exceptional original condition of this car when purchased I have taken my time and thoroughly engaged each step of the mechanical and cosmetic refresh process. Now seeking the next enthusiast who will appreciate, enjoy, and continue the care for this fine automobile. This #240 Imola Red, tan top, and interior 900 S was purchased new in Simsbury CT and has been Connecticut owned and garage kept, fair weather driven, and winter stored since new. The overall condition, running performance, lifelong care and maintenance and recent bumper to bumper refresh distinguishes this Saab 900S 5sp from most out there today. Condition of the dash, leather seats, paint/clear coat finish, rust free body and undercarriage, immaculate engine compartment, and trunk tub all speak to the care and type of use this fine example has received over the past 31 years. The driving performance of this well sorted classic Saab 900 is exceptional. Starts, runs, drives, and performs as it has less than 1/2 the miles shown. Suspension is tight and quiet, transmission shifts like butter through all gears and glides into reverse smoothly. The driving experience is smooth and tight with no play in the drive train. This car rides, handles and performs flawlessly and is a joy to drive. Convertible top operates smoothly. Of the 8 classic 900 convertibles I have owned the convertible top functions smoother and faster than any I have experienced. The previous owner of 20 years comes from a multi-generation Saab family who drove it on average 750 miles a year. Speedometer, odometer, and gas gauge work as they should and are accurate. Exterior finish holds a deep and rich shine, emblems, side trim and grill are in excellent condition. Minor flaws include a small indent in the trunk lid under the "9" 900 emblem and a touched-up scratch on the driver's door. The rest of the body, bumpers and bumper extensions are in outstanding condition for a car this age. No signs of rust are present anywhere in the body, frame rails, axel arches trunk or floor pans. Sporting new just installed Kelly Springfield 205/60/15 tires. The stock alloy wheels wear the original finish, are true and in excellent condition. Axel/steering rack arches, Floor pans and trunk pan inside and under the car are clean and corrosion free, inner floor pan and trunk tub finish is as new. A/C was dealer upgraded to R-134 with factory components and generates 55 degrees at the vents on a humid 90-degree day when tested. All switches, dash/knob lights wipers/ washers, blinker and wiper wands are tight and function as they should. Windows go up and down smoothly, electric side mirrors, interior and trunk light, fog lights central locking switch all function as they should. Previous owner maintenance and repairs over the past 20,000 miles include: New Hartz convertible top and rear window. Replaced windshield with OEM glass and is as new. Exhaust system front to back, alternator & bushings, Sachs clutch'/pressure plate, rear KYB shocks. Repairs done in last 2,000 miles by previous owner include: new clutch slave cylinder, and hydraulic pressure supply line, starter, Ignition coil, bosh distributor cap & rotor, OEM wire set and NGK spark plugs. Bumper to Bumper mechanical and cosmetic work and refresh I have completed over the past 3 months includes: Replaced upper and lower ball joints, sway bar end bushings, new front B-4 OEM spec Bilstein shocks. Mann air filter, thermostat, electric cooling fan switch, coolant drain and flush. Refilled with OEM spec Pentosin coolant and distilled water. Removed clutch assembly and fly wheel to replace rear main seal. When apart replaced the clutch disc (old one was as new other than being oil soaked). Replaced clutch shaft seal, slave cylinder bellows, clutch throw out bearing and clutch shaft cover gasket with OEM Sachs parts. Replaced valve cover gasket. Timing chain tensioner, chain/gear condition is better than engines I have seen with 80-90K on them. Oil change and Filter using Castrol 10W/30W Synthetic blend. Flushed/bled brake and clutch hydraulic system using two liters of ate dot four fluid. Changed manual MTL transmission fluid and filled with Royal Purple GL-4 (OEM spec) 75/90W MTL fluid. Suctioned power steering reservoir 4 x (fluid was remarkedly clean) and refilled with CHF 11-S Pentosin hydraulic fluid. Installed new RF drive axel and hub bearing. Installed new ate OEM brake pads and Brembo rotors up front and OEM ate brake pads on rear. Brake pedal is high, firm smooth and responsive. Braking is exceptional. No SRS or ABS lights are on, and systems work as they should. Installed Kelly 205'60/15 EDGE A/S tires on all four corners, (now less than 200 miles). Highspeed balance indicated all four rims run true and took minimal weight. Not being a fan of the aftermarket 900S resonator and tail pipe assemblies' appearance, I removed all but new Walker tail pipe & resonator and installed an OEM style Turbo tail pipe. Now the car has a healthy but subtle rumble appreciated by most enthusiasts. Replaced original radio (pixels had failed) with an OEM clarion unit, antenna works, and sound system has zero speaker crackle. Balance and fade work as they should. Removed both front seats to install a new driver's side seat belt receiver and a used low mileage ECM which resides in the passenger kick panel. When apart examined the floorboards which are as new. (See photos) carpeting and original floor mats are in excellent condition. Cleaned and treated leather seats and door panels. Refinished the rear bumper as it had slight clear coat failure. Wire brushed and refinished rear axle, gas tank straps, brake calipers, front a-frames & tie rods with POR -15 to preserve condition now providing a clean appearance. Early in the cars life the left front fender arch was dented in a parking lot and repaired. It was starting to blister around the arch where the new arch lip had been welded to the fender. I stripped and repaired the arch and refinished the left front fender which is now more than presentable and matches the rest of the car. Car has sat for 3+ weeks with zero battery discharge. Another indication of this car being garage, well cared for and kept in a dry environment. I have several driving, cold and warm start, top and window videos along with over 100 additional photos that I would be happy to share. Clear NY State title in my name is in hand. This will be a hard one to part with. Since we have recently downsized and have more limited garage space and enjoy our white 91 5sp convertible as a hobby my passions are realized in bringing fine examples as this back to turnkey reliable running and cosmetically appealing condition that can be enjoyed for years to come. Rare SAAB because it has All original equipment including paint and top. The only thing that has been replaced is the front seat skins with OEM leather and new convertible top motor. Even the 6-CD changer is original and works as do the original heated seats. This car runs great with no transmission or rear end slip. Has clear TX title and has never seen snow. Is garage kept and never driven in the rain. It does need a headlight wiper motor and AC has a slow leak. You won't be disappointed with this classic piece of machinery.

I haven't the time or energy to deal with this project. Car runs and drives, was my daily car until about 2 years ago. Left front and right rear floors are rusted out from water trapped under carpeting (previous owner's fault!). Colorado Red leather and carpets are shot, dash badly cracked, windshield cracked, power steering leaks (but works fine). Top is fully intact, has two dime size holes where 3rd bow rubs, raises and lowers fine. Body is solid, has small non-structural rust areas. Suspension towers, rear shock mounting points, etc. are very solid. Clear coat is peeling badly, right ft. fender needs minor body work. New battery, decent tires, Excellent engine, turbo and five speed, decent exhaust system. I have all the trim, removed it last year to commence restoration. DRIVE IT HOME, restore it or part it out. I could pull the five speed and get more money but then I'd have to store all the other parts and I'm neck deep in parts as it is. Clear Colorado title in my name. Call me for more details or photos.

Very clean and solid Southern rust free 5 speed convertible. Just installed 92 900T wheels and tires shown in main photo. Car runs and drives well. Brakes, suspension, exhaust all in good condition, almost new tires and no rust in the front suspension area. Body is very straight and paint is in good condition. Also has a recently replaced convertible top. I installed a replacement front bumper as the one end was dinked a little. The interior overall is very good. The leather seats are in excellent condition with no tears or open seams. carpets are also in decent condition. door panel inserts were recovered by the previous owner. the one weak area interior wise is the dash. the dash face is peeling but I am including a brand new set of wood overlays for the entire dash area. the other dash issue is there was a dplastic dash cap installed and it has cracks in it. I do not know what condition the actual dash pad is in as it seems like the cap may be glued down. Cash only, partial interesting Saab trades considered. any questions please call. Must sell quickly.

Car does not start, must bring trailer. I have owned this Saab since 6-3-2004. I bought it from the second owner in Ft. Collins Colorado. Since 2004 the car was serviced mostly at two repair garages. First garage was Mile Hi Body Shop Denver Co. Second shop was East of Sweden in Broomfield Co. The car has never been in an accident. It has a strong motor and transmission. It needs at least the following work, brakes,right ball joint,ac not working, wiper blade replaced, head lights not working, convertible top needs replacing and other small issues. Purchased in 2000. 2nd owner. Was daily driver until 2007. Has been garaged since and only driven 50 or so miles per year since. The car runs very strong, but does have some issues. Has some rust, dash cracked, speedometer does not show accurate speed, driver seat stitching ripped, and a small hole in the top. Yes, it does have the glove box badge. We would like this car to go to someone who appreciates the car for what it is and would put some TLC into it to bring it back to it's former glory.

Just in time for those Summer drives. This beautiful Saab has just over 58k miles. The car spent most of its life in Arizona. I acquired it from previous owner in Salt Lake City UT after a stint in Colorado. This SAAB is really a fantastic car. It has the Carlsson aerodynamic body package less the wheel arches. Replica arches will be included and comes with a grey parade boot and its carry case. The previous owner did all the heavy lifting including a new blue canvas top professionally installed, steering column rebuilt, new seal installed for the oil pump, new shifter linkage, CV boots, LED highlights, and cooling fan. The AC appears to be working as intended yet I only have driven it top down, heated seat works well and there is not a spot of rust that I can locate on the vehicle. Since acquiring in March of '23 I had the faded front hood, professionally sanded, color match painted and clear coated, the results are fabulous, installed new front and rear SAAB badges and also purchased 4 new Achilles ATR Sport 195/50R16 84V All-Season Traction High Performance Tires, which perform greatly and hug the curves marvelously on their Voxx wheels. The vehicle was not without faults, the stereo only has the front speakers working. It does have an amplifier and CD changer in the trunk. I am not certain if they are functional, but the CD changer has its cassette, and it can be inserted and removed without issue. The dash has cracking, assumed to be caused by the intense sun in AZ. I permanently attached the ashtray in the back to its door, glove box door remains warped, driver seat has a small separation from the foam and cover although no rips or tears, and interior side lights are out. Some documentation from the original dealer is included as well as a SAAB technical repair manual. The Saab is running and driving very well. It's really difficult to list it for sale, but life calls. Willing to listen to reasonable offers from the right buyer as I would like to see the Saab go to a good home.

I purchased this lovely little SAAB last summer from a bohemian garage in the Hamptons where it had been carefully tucked away since before COVID. Its owner was an affable nonagenarian and long time SAAB enthusiast who bought it in 1997 from the original owner, (out of a heated garage with oriental carpets!) It was used as a weekend / special occasion car and was always parked inside in the dry, and it shows. There is no evidence of corrosion or deterioration. I have a bunch of SAABs, and bought this one as a labor of love to put it back on the road and give it a second life. I did everything to it as though I were keeping it forever. In addition to new Vredestein tires (From Finland!), she was treated to a visit to Jim at Hutchings Autoworks in Delaware which included all four brakes and parking brakes being replaced, transmission mounts and all fluids and a major service. She is ready to drive anywhere at this point, and looks nearly new. There are a few blemishes in the paint and the interior is complete and supple, with the patina of a car that has always been loved. This 900 has the nicest, rattle free cabin of the three 900s I have. There are no cracks in the dash, all the lights work well and the radio functions as designed (including the equalizer). This car is a time-capsule. If I didn't already have a Monte-Carlo Yellow convertible, I would keep it forever! Currently stored with my other SAABs in Philadelphia and available for viewing anytime.

This is a real head-turner. The car runs great, the ac blows cold, new seats, new Kenwood radio with Bluetooth and speakers, convertible top works perfectly, all four electric windows work and the Turbo functions as it should. Recently replaced all belts, oil change, new battery, brake calipers and pads, replaced brake master cylinder and new starter. The top is watertight except for one occasional drip in a heavy rain. I honestly just don't drive it in the rain that much so it has never bothered me, but the top may need attention in the near future. Cruise control does not work, and the tachometer stops working sometimes. The Turbo gauge is stuck as well. I had the Turbo gauge fixed a couple of years ago and it was just a vacuum hose issue. I have the original radio and equalizer, and the original rims along with a complete set of second tires that are in good condition that go with the car.

Single owner vehicle, Excellent condition. The exterior - both the red paint and the black convertible top are in beautiful condition. The engine (a naturally aspirated V-6) is very clean, the vehicle starts right up, and it runs well. Always garage kept, never out in winter, rarely out in the rain. The only body imperfections are some small dings in the back. The interior black leather is in very nice condition, no rips or cracks. The convertible top works well. One of the small flaps that pops up when the top is folding broke off a while ago, but it does not affect the operation of the top. The ABS brake function does not work, and the car lets you know this when you start it - a red triangle is illuminated on the dash along with a red (ABS) indicator. Also, the power braking system sometimes takes a few moments to warm up. If I put the vehicle in reverse to back out of the garage right after start-up, the first braking occasionally will take extra pedal pressure. But after that it works normal. As you can see in the photos most, but not all of the interior lights work. The fan light and the gear selector light is out. This is a 29 year old vehicle, so of course, it is not perfect, but it is a sweet ride that still looks almost as good as it did the day it rolled out of the showroom. Original features include fog lights, headlight washers and wipers, power-adjustable side mirrors, heated front seats, automatic climate control and cruise control. Regular and Sport driving modes. Well maintained, the vehicle passed Virginia State Inspection on 3/15/24. The oil was changed on that date and we replaced the water pump. According to the history reports 908,817 Saab 900s were built over the course of 15 years, of those only 48,888 were convertibles. Four and Six cylinder versions were offered. The 1995 Saab 900 SE V6 was awarded Top Car in its Price Class by the American Automobile Association (AAA). Convertibles, which were available in both “S” and “SE” trim levels were manufactured at the Valmet Automotive Factory in Finland. A Saab 900 convertible was featured on the TV show Seinfeld.

Never driven in winter. Rust free and Dent free. Original paint, very good condition. Beautiful Saab original heavy leather seats, front and back, in perfect condition. Dash and instrument panels as new. Major service - August 2023. Fresh fluids throughout. New muffler and rear exhaust. New prime battery. New Goodyear Assurance tires. Solid suspension, very tight and no rattles. Brakes perfect, solid straight-line stopping. This is a Saab. It has been well maintained. The motor is tight and runs like a turbine. Cruise control fully functional. To quote the mechanic who just did the service, "Everything works on this car." And not to forget the carpets, they look like new. This car is thirty years old, and looks and runs great. It is a wonderful expression of the best of Swedish design, engineering, and manufacture.
