Replaced motor with low mileage engine and manual transmission swapped. Has ~mileage listed above and will climb a little as I drive it occasionally. 1994 classic Saab 900 Turbo convertible with about 110,000 miles, own the car for about 10 years now but no longer driving it since I have other European classic vehicles. Body it's in great shape with no rust but paint has some small imperfections. Top canvas has also some spots that needs to be repaired, interior it's in good condition exempt there is some spots on the front seats that need repair, be a great classic Saab for an enthusiast or Classic Saab collectors due to the low miles and excelent body . Car start and runs but I will recommend have a Classic Saab specialist to inspect the vehicle before to be put back on the road, please ask questions.

I've loved every minute driving this car over the years! 2nd owner since 2004. Runs great. Body and paint in great shape. Minor dings. No rust. No accidents. Garage kept. Convertible top works. Nokian tires only have 5,000 miles on them. Seats have custom neoprene seat covers. Some quirks: speedometer works intermittently, the "check latch" dings periodically when top closed, the passenger rear window needs manual assist to open, no A/C. Radio and 5 disc CD changer still works. Antenna replaced last year. Other info: Valve cover gasket and alternator replaced in 2024. Most engine mounts replaced, except rear center mount. Battery 1 year old. Clean and clear title. Hoping to pass along to a fellow Saab enthusiast!

Well maintained ex-garage queen. I've had this wonderful drive since 2015. She was recently kicked out of the garage for a K30 Squarebody pickup. She has a new top professionally installed in December of 2024. Mods include, steering brace, urethane steering bushings, forged bypass valve, larger rear sway bar, SS brake hoses, Brembo rotors, ceramic pads, rear wheel spacers, strut brace. Tires have good tread but need to be replaced. Car is starting to show its age. Paint is fair, interior is fair with no tears in the leather. Heated seats do not work. A speaker needs to be replaced. Radio and CD changer work fine. I really hate to let this girl go. I'm preparing for a long term international trip and don't want to leave her outside. Transmission gear oil recently changed. Car will come with all the spare parts I have. Old sway bar, replaced tonneau lock mechanism, etc. I even have a front unibody support that mounts under the engine. Car was never raced, I enjoy the twisties.

Find here for sale my 91 'Vert turbo 5 speed, a project which has stretched over a 14 year period. The car has been completely "stage zero" rebuilt, and a new German convertible top installed. New parts include turbo, water pump, head gasket, PS pump, brakes, dampers, PS rack (Marval), radiator, grille, aftermarket E-codes, NAPA battery, Bosch starter, fuel pump, silicone vacuum hoses & coolant expansion tank. Conversion to a rebuilt manual 5 speed about 6K miles ago including new clutch, master & slave, flex line. The only non-SAAB modification is the conversion to BMW M3 convertible seats. Wind screen over the back seat to extend the topless season (German made). Car was completely repainted with exception of hood, driver side front fender & door. Bumpers were replaced and painted with the proper SAAB color & clear. Head unit relocated to the lower cubby and a SIRIUS satellite receiver custom mounted at the top. I'm finally going to let my baby go to another happy life. I've had it for a number of years but have kept it in indoor storage until I found time to do the little things it needed to be perfect again. She needs a new top but the panties are fine under the top. Some clear coat is failing from the PO leaving it outside I guess A light touch up will do. All interior leather is perfect but there is few small dash cracks. The motor purrs and there is a slight valve tick when started after sitting for a few months. it goes away after running for a minute or two. It comes with the plastic cover for when the top is down, can't remember the name of it. Car cover and has new tires with less then 100 miles on it. Transmission doesn't seem to have the pop out of gear problems and the car drives beautiful. You could drive it home to Maine and I don't think you would have any problems. Sat covered for 15 yrs, last I drove it ran like a dream, top down unforgettable. Lots of expensive labor of love, parts have 1500 mi on them: headgasket, rebuilt turbo, clutch assy/slave, full tune, drive shafts left/right, brakes/fluid, coolant/hoses, rebuilt fuel pump/filter, all shocks, catalytic converter, tires now 15yo still good (flat spot), convertible top+hydraulic fluid, don't know current condition, I took out the stick shift lock mechanism for new car alarm installed with remote start. Currently: paint faded nice carrot red, trunk needs re-paint, windshield cracked, rear bench rough, front seats ok, dash has cracks, rear engine oil seal leaking therefore not driveable far, due to manual start up car smokes badly until things will clear out (only ran it few minutes), check engine light on. Make offer I can't refuse, will need towing.

Needs new top, original paint's getting hazy on trunk lid, Dinged hood from flying pallet during one of our lovely fires. Cruise not working. A/c needs Freon, driver seat worn at hip, needs radiator hoses, etc soon. Stereo bites. Paintless dent guys can fix dent and couple of dings. Nothing major. THE Good: runs/drives. Zero dash cracks. Trans smooth-never any issues . Never abused, just neglected once I got my spg going. Body solid. Clean title. Smogged and registered til Nov. Parade boot used twice. Second owner. Got it at 28k miles Just needs love of a SAAB person. I'm retiring, down-sizing and traveling lite as a vagabond this next chapter. Leaving 5/29. Just want it to go to a good home.

It took me years to find a 1993 in amazing condition and low miles. Now, with life circumstances changed, I know I should sell. Yet, every time I take it for a spin, I change my mind. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful and best driving car ever made. Since purchasing the car in 2004 (and previous to that based on its condition when I bought it), the car has been babied. Garaged and used only in nice weather. Regular maintenance means everything operates as it should. A new convertible top is the icing on the cake. My service guy-a well known Saab expert says he's rarely seen a '93 in this great shape, including no rust! One quirk to note is that there is a drain on the battery. Service could not find any issues and did not experience this when they kept car for an extended time to test; says probably due to my not starting it often enough. Another Saab owner with same issue told me his was resolved by disconnecting the electronic key fob. I will leave the decision how to manage this (if needed) to new owner as it may not be an issue for them. Photos do not do car justice - difficult to get photos without glare which shows the good condition of the paint finish. One scratch near door is seen in a photo. Happy to share more photos, maintenance records, etc. Comes with car cover. Serious Saab lovers only-letting go of this car is gonna be tough!

My wife and I bought a 1993 Turbo Commemorative convertible in 2002. It was a great car, but the New England winters finally killed it. In 2021, I bought a 1991 900 Turbo Convertible with the thought to use the 1991 as a "donor car" to restore the 1993 car. As it turned out, the 1993 car became the donor to repair/restore/upgrade the 1991 car. The 1991 car was originally registered in Kansas. Very shortly thereafter, it moved to Arizona. It stayed in Arizona until I bought it in late 2021 and had it shipped to northern Connecticut. As a result, it has no body rot, and no rust or corrosion on the frame or any of the suspension parts. It spent 2022 in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, being worked on by David Dickinson. The 1991 car received the brown Turbo Commemorative interior, the electric seats, the walnut dash, and the Clarion radio and graphic equalizer from the 1993 car. After the work was completed, I took possession of the 1991 car in late January of 2023. Since then, it has been an "around town" car. It starts, stops, and does all the things a 34 year-old car ought to do. Several SAAB mechanics have told me the transmission is the best-shifting SAAB automatic they have ever seen. It gets 23-24 miles/gallon and burns no oil. Tires were replaced during the rebuild and have less than 5,000 miles on them. Other things replaced during the rebuild were: oil pressure sensor, left and right front wheel bearings, left and right upper and lower ball joints, left and right upper control arm bushings, new brass/copper radiator and all radiator hoses and thermostat, front transmission mount, and a new battery. All four electric windows work (full travel up and down). The radio works (AM and FM), as does the graphic equalizer. The electric antenna only goes up half-way. The top is a project for the next owner – it needs a new top and I have not investigated the top frame or its complement of electric motors and sensors. My wife and I will be sad to say "farewell", but it's time for someone new to enjoy motoring the way it used to be.

For your consideration, my 1991 Saab 900 SE convertible in Monte Carlo yellow. One of the original "bumblebees." This car came to me in 1991 with about 90,000 miles. It was my commuter car for about three years and has since lived a comfy life in our garage as a weekender. Service was performed in Indianapolis by Road Tested Saabs. It was originally titled in Florida and I know nothing about those years. The odometer mileage is 176000 miles. The car came from the factory as a 3 speed automatic. That transmission gave up about 10,000 miles ago and the car was converted to a 5 speed manual (freshly rebuilt transmission). The engine was also exchanged at the time for one with fewer miles, new gaskets, seals and timing chain. The car drives and shifts well, does not consume fluids and averages about 25 mpg local driving. Service over the years has included replacement of the right rear quarter panel due to rust (perhaps a poorly done collision repair in Florida?), new shocks and springs (slightly lower and stiffer ride), recently replaced cooling and power steering hoses, miscellaneous rust repair (no bondo to my knowledge). The interior is original with slip on seat covers on the front seats. The originals are underneath. There was a tear on the drivers seat when I put these on. The top is fully functional. The windshield washer and hand brake are not working. The radio and speakers are Crutchfield upgrades. There is a spot of rust along the left rear tail light and along the cowling adjacent to the right back seat. The dash has several sun cracks typical of Saab but is better than most examples of this age. The tires are fine. I did full service a year and a half ago. This car is a fun driver and ready to enjoy off the trailer. I am retired and spend most of the convertible season away from the car. It needs a new home with someone who will enjoy it as much as we have. I have uploaded copious photos to the site as well as a cold start video and a couple of driving videos. This car is about as "Saaby" as they get and draws lots of attention and conversation. Happy shopping.

Sports suspension package, 5-speed manual, just under 163,000 miles. Runs wonderfully, no rust, convertible top 3 years old, Cooper tires in excellent condition. Parade covers (to cover the convertible top when it's down) are included as are two complete headlights. Like any 33-year-old car, it has a few issues, the primary ones being: I was surprised to find the car was totaled due to flood water in 1999 in Pennsylvania, have had the car twelve years, and have noticed no water damage or related issues. Other than that, the black leather seats are dried out and coming unstitched, the fuel gauge stopped working a couple of years ago (I use the trip odometer to gauge fuel usage), the heater controls need work, and the driver's seatbelt receiver needs to be replaced. I put a new radio/CD player in it, but the speaker wiring needs work. I love this car, but I need to move on. Original paint, no rust I am aware of. This car has nearly always been garaged. The photos were taken with the car unwaxed. It appears that the clear coat is missing on the hood and trunk, and in some other smaller areas. When I waxed it a few years ago it shined! Here is what I know is wrong with it. It no longer has air conditioning. The electric locks and radio don't work. I don't know if the equalizer does. The antenna mast needs replaced. Some of the dash lights need replaced. The top fabric is ¼" off center and can catch in the passenger window when door is closed with the window up. I have owned this car since 2002 and the prior owner said she always had it in a garage when not in use. It has been gently driven and serviced regularly. It starts fast and runs strong and smooth, burns little or no oil. Leather seats are somewhat worn, and in particular from the driver's seat belt. They need a generous coat of leather conditioner. Tires near the end of their useful life, battery brand new To the best of my knowledge, it has never been wrecked.

This is the second car for sale from us that is a 1 of 500 car. Mechanically in very good condition and no rust. The car is offered with car cover and parade boot also a rare rear wind screen. The leather is plyable and not shrunk Saab insignia floor mats vey nice car for its age. dash does have a cover inlay. Drives with plenty or boost and no issues with clutch or trans shift . Top works and is quiet. No drive issues. hood has been repainted and the rest of the car paint and bumpers are original there is fading on the orignial paint unfortunatley a Saab clear coat issue that plagues many car of this vintage. The car is being sold on consignment and will be owners garage locally so appt only on test drives and visits.

I bought this from original owner several years ago with 27k miles as it sat at vacation house. Car is in very good condition no rust and runs strong. Clean Title, carfax, no dents/ accidents, but has some small scratches/ swirls in paint, but polishes up nice for a 33 year old. Turbo, heated seats, leather. Since purchased i have spared no expense- new exhaust, tires, brakes and rotors, new belts, battery, new AC, new dash cover no cracks, and some other minor items to make sure it was safe and taken care of. All records included and history. Everything works as it should (except CD player), no lights on dash. Top shows some signs of age and some stitching has been repaired. Seats are in great condition no to min cracking of leather, and no stains in carpet. Car is covered when not in use. All work has been done by certified garage and inspected by SAAB Specialist. This is a great car and would put new top on it to make it look perfect if i were to keep it.

In very good condition! 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Engine runs great! Overall in very good shape. No accidents. Convertible Top works perfectly. New Cooper Tires with less than 500 miles. Battery is 1 year old. Original Paint is in good shape. Original interior with heated seats, front seat covers are included. Original Radio that works. Also has the 5 Disc Changer that needs repair. A/C has slow leak but can be recharged and will work for most of the year. The coolant overflow sensor was replaced, but still shows dash code that is easily cleared.

I bought this a few years ago, my neighbor was going to work on it for me but he is too busy. New convertible top, new Pioneer pop up display smart radio with back up camera and usb port to charge your phone. Heater doesn't work but I have the part. AC needs work, a few little leaks here and there but I drove it for about a year and then it has just sat. It had passed smog, now on non op so will need a smog. Great car for someone who wants to do a bit of tinkering but still drive it. Exterior could use a good clean and buff. Interior in great shape with a few cracks on the drivers seat. Hard shell convertible cover in excellent shape. My loss will be someone's gain!

Recently found after several years storage, very solid southern car, engines runs quiet & strong, turbo spools right up, has the correct 185HP red box APC. transmission shifts smooth with no grinding or jumping out of gear and good clutch. Top operates correctly and does not leak. Correct seats with dark piping in very decent condition with a little wear and a couple seams that need restitched on driver's seat, wood dash face is very nice with the correct radio and cd units, dash top has some normal cracking. Also includes the 3 piece hard parade boot. Have some service records and the original window sticker and 2 key fobs. The car does need a cosmetic restoration, clearcoat is peeling on the trunk lid, has one small rust area above the right rear wheel. Both doors have dents at the bottom-previous owner said that years ago a careless tow truck driver damaged them. The paint on the left rear quarter appears to have been resprayed and is dull. Conv. top has some stains and piping on front edge is fraying. Mechanical needs include the ABS system needs repair as the brake pedal is very hard, tires hold air but have age cracking. This is a very rare, low mileage, solid car which could easily be restored to show condition at which time the car could be worth $20K+. Interior photos available upon request. I am a former Saab Master Tech with 35+ years experience who buys, repairs and sells Saabs to supplement my disability. I prefer cash, in person transactions whenever possible.

Time to sell Sadie, owned since 2005. Good: interior is decent although I was halfway through swapping in new seats. Two sets of front seats will be provided. Top is intact and hydraulics still functioned at last use. Wheels are black-center powdercoated Shelbys. Bad: could use a coat of paint. Leak in right rear metal brake line at union with flex hose. RF wheel bearing was going bad. Ugly: engine has not been turned over since 2021. Stored in a garage but not immune to temperature and humidity swings. I have not scoped the engine to see if the cylinders are clean. Could be restored or a parts goldmine. I will accept reasonable offers. Buyer tows away.

Within the past 5000 miles some of the improvements include: suspension (bushings, shocks, coils), power steering rack, motor mounts, cooling system (radiator, hoses, water pump), new starter and alternator, AC converted to R134 (compressor rebuilt, hoses replaced). Purchased as an automatic, swapped with a professionally rebuilt manual transmission, new components including a MCS short shifter. Top is in great condition, replaced by previous owner. Rare, dealer installed, color matched body kit. Professionally refinished 16" Super Aeros. Cruise control and heated seats are not functioning, haven't tried to fix. There is limited wear to seats and carpet, some paint imperfections, small cracks at the dash (custom dash mat to protect it).
