  • 1991 Saab 900 Turbo SE Convertible (Posted 8/19/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 95,785 Price: $9500
This is a two-owner vehicle that I've owned since November 1994. It's Charcoal Grey with a Black Top and Grey Leather interior. The SE model includes the lower body SPG farings. Over the past 15 years it has been garaged and used 3-5 days - a year - for personal therapy. The convertible roof was replaced and virtually new. Pirelli tires have less than 2000 miles on them. The convertible hard top farings are include and, like the car, in great shape. I've replace the battery with a solid core Optima Red Top battery. Additionally, I've upgraded the front fog lamps which you'll see in the pictures. It pains me to part with this, but I've two kids in college and, it's time. Free Carfax report: Click Here. • Color: Java Trans: Automatic Mileage: 102,700 Price: $7775
2011 was the last year for 9-3. This car looks, runs, and drives above average. I have owned 4 9-3s 2004 2006, 2008 2011 and 1 Loaded 2011 9-5. I am familiar with Saab 9-3 and 9-5 and I rate this as a good one. This is beautiful with color combination and leather interior.Java is like a reddish brown and has a Gold color pin stripe. Wheels have no damage, Michelin tires are average. Alignment and balance and rotate just completed. Brakes are average. No code now and never since I have. All works except fuel gauge, which needs the Sender in the gas tank. Included is a new Sender and fuel pump assembly. Must lower gas tank to install. Labor estimate of $100 to $150 from local shop. One Key fob and one key only. All questions will be answered. I think a fair price for this nice car. Also on Ebay, You can read the Autocheck report there.

  • 2005 Saab 9-3 Arc Convertible (Posted 8/24/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 205,000 Price: $2000
My first Saab, my daily summer car, well loved and cared for over the last 5yrs. She is the reason I have now owned 5 Saabs, but after landing a Viggen Vert, I reluctantly do not need two convertibles. This beauty needs a new home. The Arc package is nice, with the Aero upgrades, and a slightly less firm suspension. A Better mix of ride quality, power and cornering compared to the Linear or Aero. I also have an old Aero rear spoiler that will go with the car, if I have not installed it yet. Bought her at 142k. Proactive maintenance. She also had a few needed repairs. Headlights polished at 150k - Double iridium plugs - crank sensor - ECU replaced at 190k - 2 new coils - timing & balance chains & tensioner & all guides at 160k - A/C recharge - IGN (key) switch replaced - replaced broken cupholder - rear hydraulic rams replaced with a set from a low mile '07 - several hydraulic fluid swaps with OEM to clean out that system nicely - new brakes & rotors plus calipers cleaned & painted 5k ago - NICE set of 9-5 rims - Michelin Premiers with about 1/2 tread still - annual top deep clean and re-seal - rear upper shock mounts & upper control arms & wheel bearings - coolant tank & cap just replaced - t-stat & coolant & trans oil & power steering fluid recently changed. Oil & filter changes every 3k with Mobil-1 because I am OCD about clean oil(Compression test justifies it: a month ago they are all at or above 210psi). Only flaw is a spot on rear bumper where I backed into a car in 2016. See pictures. It's invisible unless you are within a few feet. Please text or leave a voicemail as I screen calls due to scam calls. I will quickly call you back. Thanks! See more photos in my Saabnet.com Member gallery: Click Here.

  • 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 8/24/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 202,979 Price: $4900
Runs and drives great! Great clutch. I found a replacement vehicle I'd like to get into so I'm somewhat negotiable on price. Purchased from the original owner last year. It needed some suspension work among other minor things. Garage kept. Used as a weekender and put only 200 miles on it since purchased. New battery, spark plugs, New Genuine Saab Slotted Rotors (Front), New Akebono Euro brake pads (front), New control arms (all), sway bar end links, brake line/hose (rear driver). Rear pads/rotors only have less than 2,000 miles on them. New Water Pump, catalytic converter, exhaust (se, non-viggen muffler). Top, Transmission & clutch replaced in last 25k. Top works only manual operation due to broken line. I have replacement lines that I picked up with intention to replace. I will include them with purchase. Original Window sticker, other memorabilia, spare/extra parts, extra OEM Wheel. Replaced SID -no broken pixels on SID. ALL service records since new. Recently detailed by Refined Auto Detailing & Coatings LLC in Lancaster, PA. 2-step paint correction, SB3 OMEGA 2 year ceramic coating, SB3 OPTIC Glass Coating, Trim Restoration, full interior detail.

  • 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible (Posted 8/22/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: 86,000 Price: $8500
This automatic Laser Red convertible Saab 9-3 Aero is one of only 49 produced in the US Domestic Market that year. What I can say after having owned nine previous Saabs is, this car is very short on weaknesses. No filters on the images, what you see is legitimate. Brake - Good pad wear left. Tires - In great shape with plenty of tread left. Climate - The AC and heat work. Paint - 9/10... very few blemishes on this car. Performance - 7.5/10 in stock form but it is a blast in sport mode with the quick spooling blower. 250bhp from the factory. Appeal - 9.8/10. The top has never been replaced as the car has not been driven in the winter much at all in its life. It has had less than 1000 miles put on in in the last year. Third owner - the previous owner bought it on 09 if I am not mistaken. Simply put, the car is one or 49 and it feels like it... It will be available to view in the Southern Maryland area after 25 August when I get back into town. Send your questions. More photos available in classified gallery: Click Here.

  • 1991 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 8/16/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 200,000 Price: $1000
I bought the car in 2016 from the original owner and had it shipped from Connecticut to Nova Scotia. I put 10,000 miles on it at most, and it's been sitting in indoor heated storage for the past 2 years. It ran really well before I stored it, including at highway speed for long distances. As you can see from the photos, it has very little exterior rust. The problem is that the floor needs to be replaced, which I didn't know before I bought it and had it shipped. So it's a project car for the right Saab enthusiast, and well worth it, considering the shape of the body, engine and transmission. I have an estimate of $2000 for a new floor from Maaco in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I thought that I would do it, but I'm involved in other projects. The retractable roof was replaced shortly before I bought it and it's always been well maintained by a Saab mechanic.

  • 1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 8/15/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Cirrus White Trans: Manual Mileage: 100,5XX Price: $8700
I have owned this vehicle for 29 years, purchased in October 1991 from the original owner at the end of a 3 year lease (or from the Lessee, I am the true first "owner" and have Colorado purchase records). Clean CarFax only shows from 1993, however; the car was leased new from Academy SAAB of Colorado Springs for three years, and then purchased by me in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The car spent, with me, 2 years in Colorado, 2 years in MN, 5 years in VA, 11 years in Florida, 5 years in GA, and another 4 years now in FL. I have all maintenance records and receipts since the vehicle was new (a cataloged 3-ring binder, and all receipts). I have original owner's manuals, accessory manuals, and original dealer/SAAB key fobs and Bentley and Haynes Service Manuals, as well as SAAB history books, etc. that go with the vehicle. My ownership has been dedicated to maintaining this vehicles originality and all maintenance and repairs have been performed with SAAB OEM parts and materials. Vehicle is a Convertible with the following all original: paint, interior, engine (is the B202 16V Turbo with intercooler); transmission (is 5-speed manual); all options work; has A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Antenna, Power Windows, Cruise Control, Heated Seats, Central Locking System, Alarm, and Original SAAB/Clarion Radio and Equalizer (cassette needs attention, but I have replacement radio). The interior is all original SAAB leather that has been conditioned regularly. I did recently have it professionally re-dyed in Colorado Red to match the original panels due to age related leather discoloring. Exterior is Cirrus White; interior is Colorado Red (Burgundy). A/C was converted to R134 in July 2003, operates very cold. Vehicle is ORIGINAL (paint, interior, mechanicals, etc.) with exception of preventive maintenance items (tires, battery, wipers, exhaust). The Original top was replaced in 2000 and that replacement is still in place after 20 years (does not leak, but needs visual appeal replacement from aged stitching!). I mostly drive it with the top down! Vehicle has 100,5XX original documented miles. All fluids have been refreshed regularly as documented in maintenance records. Major recent maintenance: *Clutch Kit (Clutch/PP/TOB) including clutch master and slave cylinder replaced at 88,589 miles. *New BF Goodrich tires at 92080 miles. *Replace Master Brake Cylinder at 92,545. *Front seal/Oil Pump O-Ring/New Crankshaft Pulley/Drive Belt/Radiator Hoses/Rebuild Top Pump and new rear brakes at 95,041 miles. *Steering Rack with inner Tie Rods/hoses and both Front and Rear Shocks at 98,768. Vehicle has original trunk case for "top down cover pieces", and the original cover pieces (3) are in new condition. Toolkit is also original. THEY'RE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE!! This vehicle does have cracks in the dash, some very minor paint bubbling at right A-pillar and 2 small spots above back bumper, surface rust in trunk well and rust underbody, and needs bumper refreshing and a new top... BUT IT IS ORIGINAL and THEY'RE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE!! Mike, at The SAAAB Store in Tampa Florida has commented that the condition of this vehicle is possibly the best Classic 900T Convertible that they have ever serviced. • 1994 Saab 900 Commemorative Edition Convertible (Posted 8/14/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 212,000 Price: $4750
Car has been well maintained. During my ownership I have gone through the ignition system and replaced all 4 shocks with Bilsteins. Everything works. Top works and all windows and gauges. Only non-functioning part of the car is the AC. Sometime in the future the steering rack may need to be replaced as it has a small leak. Car has surface rust underneath, spent it's life in the northeast. All wheel arches are rust free. Clearcoat loss on hood. If I were to keep it, I would paint the hood.

2-owner car (I am 3rd but only used this summer) previously a Florida car. Seats appear to have been re-done or are in excellent condition. Top vinyl is in good shape, but is in manual operation mode as the rams leak fluid. Mechanically sound. New muffler, upper radiator hoses, thermostat, coolant flush, vacuum lines, oil/filter. No A/C. ABS light stays on. Original radio is squirrely. Has a few cosmetic defects but good overall condition otherwise. Comes with dust cover, various fluids, chrome trim piece for front bumper, etc. I am selling because I only planned on enjoying it this summer. • 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 8/7/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 46,938 Price: $12,500
2000 9-3 Viggen Convertible for sale, dressed in black, with 46,938 miles. Car has a clean title and I have a carfax for any interested parties. The car mostly speaks for itself. Its exceptionally clean, and while I'd love to keep it, my interests have gone elsewhere. I took a series of photos of the car including the only visible dings on the body itself. Please also see both videos, a startup video and the top returning to closed. I have two keys, all weather mats, sunshade, spare saab wipers, and a few other things that will go with the car. SID is perfect, AC blows cold, windows all respond up and down as they should. Seats are in remarkable condition. Recent work: Brand new Ventus V2s were mounted on the original five spoke Viggen wheels which were powdercoated grey prior to my ownership. The tire shop who installed the tires let one wheel fall over, causing chips on the lip of the wheel (See photos). Every year synthetic oil changes, and the PCV6 update was done to the car prior to my ownership. Oil pan was dropped by a local Saab shop; it is spotlessly clean. The car has a "factory installed" paint protect package, which includes a clear hood bra and a very well fitted (with cutouts) bumper bra. Some scuffs exist on the clear bra, but the paint underneath is perfect. Please see photos for example. The car does have some suspension upgrades as it sits: Maptun steering rack brace, GS rear ARB, GS Sixpoint subframe brace, GS control arms + bushings. The car has a Maptuner X OBDII device with Stage I and can reverted easily to stock. Maptun catback exhaust to replace the stock tip which was in tarnished condition so the car is at near stock volume. The car was bone stock when I received it, and I can assure any buyer that these upgrades were done to improve ride and any can be easily undone if necessary. I'm testing the waters here at $12,500. I'd much rather sell to an enthusiast who will appreciate it. This could be close to a concours collector, or a weekend driver, or hell, daily drive it. Its been 100% reliable for me, including a 2,100 mile road trip home (I bought the car in Great Falls MT and drove it cross country home to Vermont.) Please feel free to ask any questions or if anyone would like to come see it please PM me.

  • 2002 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 8/4/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 64,500 Price: $10,500
Very nice and clean Viggen convertible. I have owned for about 2 years but don’t use it enough. This was my dream car as a kid, but I now feel it will be better use to another SAAB enthusiast. Overall great shape. No bad sounds, smells, smoke etc. This is my 10th SAAB, and by far the fastest and most stable one I have owned. Some small nicks in paint, but very good overall impression. Always serviced with Mobile fully synthetic oil. I have found zero rust, but rust has never been a problem in any of the SAABs I have had (I am Swedish so my other cars have seen a fair bit of snow etc, still no rust). Please reach out for questions. I am in no rush, the car is in good hands in my garage. But that being said, I do hope to find a new committed owner near term. Open to Video calls if you want a walk through of the car. Just let me know how I can help you get comfortable with this one. It is really an awesome car!

Purchased at ANA Saab dealership in Trollhatten in 2005. We toured Norway and Sweden for 2 weeks and then had the car shipped home. I am the original owner and primarily the only driver! This little cream puff is in great shape--I take good care of my cars. All service at Saab dealers or specialists. CARFAX available. I am reluctantly parting with it because a knee injury makes it difficult for me to get in and out of the car. This Arc has all the bells and whistles: Beige leather interior, wood/leather steering wheel, wood shift surround, rain-sensing wipers, rear park assist, 6-disc CD changer, remote top operation, and auto-dimming interior mirror with integrated garage door opener Safety features: electronic stability control (ESP), cornering brake control, anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), Brake Assist, and traction control. 5-spd man w/OD Transmission; still has the original clutch. Four snow tires. All original manuals, 2 key fobs. The only thing that doesn't work: the pop-out cupholder, which I think is fixable--it seems like it needs a new spring. Get a sweet convertible to enjoy for the summer!

  • 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 7/9/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 153,500 Price: $4000
The Good – a super attractive survivor. Several replacement parts in the last 4 years (hey, it’s a 20 year old car, parts get tired); new motor mounts, new compressor, new oxygen sensor, new front windshield (OEM), new front rotors and pads, wheels straightened and balanced, tires have 15k (look like new). I am including a spare wheel in the trunk (straight and true), the car has minimal signs of rust, all pixels are bright and clear on SID and temperature control, and the top goes up and down flawlessly. The car drives like a dream and accelerates like a Viggen. I have always used premium gas and changed the oil religiously. I hit a groundhog in Missouri (honestly) and had to have the oil cooler and front bumper replaced – so that is the only accident I have ever had, a groundhog. I am the second owner. The car was purchased in Annapolis, MD and was my Washington DC car until I retired in 2009 and moved to Missouri. The car sat in the garage for 7 years with routine startups and battery charges. The Bad – There are two noticeable dents and a crack in the skirt near the front drivers jack port. There is pitting from rocks hitting the engine hood. There is a small opening in the drivers seat where it is coming unstitched – about an inch but needs to be taken care of. The Ugly – My wife says sell it! We recently relocated to Florida and it is the third car. We can only have two at the condo and my wife hates driving a manual transmission. I bought the car when I was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and given little chance to live. I thought if I am going to die – I am going to die with the coolest car ever! I purchased it July 15, 2005 and have loved it every day since.

Runs great, smooth idle and shifting, turbo spools right up, smooth and powerful. Always Mobil1 oil changes. Less than 5000 miles on new clutch. Good tread on tires. Inspected till October, will pass inspection anywhere. Everything works - windows, cruise, gauges, switches, etc. except air conditioning. Still R12 and has leaks. • 1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 5/19/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Dark Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 161,000 Price: $3,500 Or Best Offer
Five speed with no synchro issues. Third owner for two years. Runs excellent, and everything works. Drive it anywhere. Recent repaint in dark blue metallic. Recent clutch and clutch master cylinder. Many new parts, including air conditioning compressor, Euro exhaust from cat back, aftermarket stereo, fog lights, ABS accumulator, passenger window regulator, correct gray seats with working power adjustment, brand-new Bridgestone tires, spark plug wires and distributor cap, tonneau cover with case, many replaced switches and light fixtures. Top goes up and down without issues and has no holes or fraying. It doesn’t leak, but it is weathered. Issues: dash cracks, a pencil-eraser-sized rust spot on the inside of the trunk lid near the latch, and a similarly-sized hole in the otherwise clean trunk floor. No rust on body. Brake lights sometimes stay on, and the car tends to run cool. The latter could simply be the gauge—I replaced the thermostat, and the heater works fine. Cold air.

  • 1989 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 6/2/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 2,900 miles on rebuilt engine - 178,000 on speedo Price: $5,700
I have to sell my perfectly beautiful rust free car with an exceptional body and paint. Interior is excellent. Purchased from original owner in 2012 with 135,000 miles. The automatic transmission was replaced with a 5 speed manual in 2013. Recently the car had a complete engine rebuild performed by Taliaferro Saab in Springfield, Missouri. Driven 1200 miles back to its home in Florida, it now has 2,900 miles on the rebuilt engine. Many parts that could become issues on an older car have been replaced to make it a reliable daily driver. Newer Michelin tires. Includes a Sony radio w/ hands free phone (more photos and new parts list available). Everything works unless cruise control is important to you (I’m sure it’s fixable, but I didn’t need it). You will not find another Classic 900 turbo convertible this reliable and in this condition. Turns heads. Put the top down and enjoy, or go cross-country.

  • Color: Scarab Green Met Trans: Automatic Mileage: 60,681 Price: $2000
Low miles was off the road for many years. I bought it 3 years ago and have driven it daily. Great car with the 2.5 4 cylinder engine. Non Turbo but has lots of pep. The sport mode in the auto trans is great. Rear muffler delete. Windshield has crack. Looking into cost to replace. Check engine light is on for evap leak we can't find. Runs great. Seats good no rips. Slight discoloring on the tops of rear seats. Top does not work electrically. I use it manually. I replaced the part that was broken to make it work but it needs someone with the Saab tool to reset the top. Good tires all around. clear on drivers door and front drivers fender not shiny. Scratch on door. AC and heat work great. Top is old. It leaks when it really rains hard. I just put plastic on it. I redo the waterproofing 2 times a year. Super fun summer and winter car.

Recent front brakes and alignment. Airbag recall done. Wax/oil undercoated. Top in GREAT shape, works perfectly, looks good, no leaks. AC and heat work great. Replaced cup holder, recent NH Inspection. The Bad: Driver-side seat heater doesn’t work: small burn hole in leather. Cruise control is spotty. Radio doesn’t pull in stations well and rear amp crackles sometimes - speakers, including subwoofer, are fine. Dash buttons worn - new buttons come with car. Passenger seat buttons broken, new buttons come with car. Minor separation of leather on steering wheel. I hate the aero wheel anyway, so I have a normal ’sport’ wheel for you to install sitting in the trunk. Tiny chip in windshield - passed inspection fine. The Ugly: Front lip zip tied but tight and stable. Two rims have rash, but are straight and perfectly balanced. Right tail pipe is bent (does not leak). Scrape all down the passenger side. • 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 6/2/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Steel Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 109,333 Price: $6500
This car has spent its entire life in San Francisco Bay Area, California. It's professionally maintained at Saab Replay in Berkeley. In addition, it's well taken care of by a middel-aged responsible owner that appreciates the rarity and beauty of these amazing cars. Pros: Absolutely no rust issues. Car is in great mechanical and electrical condition. Engine runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly. Convertible top is in perfect working condition. Interior is in great condition with no rips and tears to the original leather seats, dashboard cover and door panels (see pictures). Exterior paint looks great. No oxidation or fading. Cons: Slight damage to front bumper, which is typical for a Viggen. The paint on the body does have some chips/scratches and there's paint damage on the rear bumper (see pictures). This is all from parking in the Bay Area where people unfortunately don't seem to care anymore. Car needs new speakers. Amplifier was tested and is okay. Please contact me for additional information. • 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 6/7/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 41,775 Price: $10,750
Time to move my Viggen along. Too much snow and not enough summer to properly enjoy. I've owned this car for three years and have put very little mileage on it. I bought it from a man in Castle Rock CO, who had purchased it from a dealer in Centerville, OH - who had sold it and bought it back from the original owner. I have full maintenance records, window sticker, etc. The bad: There are some small rock chips and some scuffing on the lower left bumper. The windshield was repaired it is noticeable in the right light. The rims are good, tires are new (1,300 miles). I have FOUR extra rims (two marginal, two good. The pixels on the dash are fine, not interior issues at all. The top has a small wear spot by the lower left window. The CEL comes on once in awhile - Mile Hi Saab recommended a new DIC (included with the sale - not installed). The front badge is a SAAB Scania badge - I am ordering a correct one. This is not a fire sale, so low ball offers will be ejected out of hand. Free Carfax report: Click Here. More photos available in classified gallery: Click Here.

  • 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 6/19/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Silver/Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 99,800 Price: $5500
Replaced ac, both displays, front under bumper power steering hose, belts, coolant and tons more! Comes with a set of 4 silver original Saab Viggen wheels as well. I'm 52 and this car averages 30mpg while driving normally. It's original and unmolested except for a hands free radio that also plays movies. It's been a great car and I've owned it for about 6 to 7 years. I keep up on all maintenance and always run super and change oil yearly if I don't hit 3000 miles or every 3000 miles. Had pan taken off to check and clean any sludge at 80,000 miles. Great car that someone can jump in and enjoy! I don't do any social media and this car isn’t listed locally as I want it to go to a Saab enthusiast.

Heated front seats, CD player, all electronics functional. Original manual and all repair paperwork included. Issues: oil level sensor leak (my Saab mechanic said $350 to replace); the roof leaks into inner lining when it rains really hard (which doesn’t happen often here – no holes found, maybe a seam or window seal??); some small paint scrapes and hole in one floor mat – otherwise still beautiful and fun to tool around in with the top down!

Completely original, including paint, wheels, engine, etc. Top in great condition. Body in great condition Tear in driver seat leather. Plastic on back side of passenger side mirror is broken, but mirror itself is still good and functional. This car is fun to drive with it's turbo power. And when family visits getting people in and out of back seat isn't ideal. This car has been serviced by Saab dealers and Mile High Automotive in Colorado. Has heated front seats, rear window defroster, CD player, Daytime running lights, cruise control along with other typical features. • 1990 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 4/16/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 161,000 Price: $4000
I've worked on these cars for over 30 years and have gone through this one completely. Rust free and mechanically excellent. SPG body kit, tires excellent. Engine was overheated and replaced with one from a 91 SE with only 96k on it. New water pump and complete tune up at time of install (1,500 miles ago) 5-speed is perfect and has new Redline MTL fluid change. Clutch new. Suspension in great shape (replaced ball joints, Bilstein shocks on all four corners, CV boots intact, etc.) Brand new Starla exhaust from cat back. Interior swapped from saddle leather to buffalo grey. Soft and supple. A/C almost ready to be recharged. Has new condenser, bearing and hoses. If I can get to it in the next few weeks, I'll have it finished. Tough to do under travel restrictions. All electrical functioning on car. Will pass inspection anywhere. Decent aftermarket stereo. The bad: convertible top was replaced by previous owner. Fitment is not great. If I were keeping, I'd replace. Minor leak in power steering. Can be driven as is, or replace rack and pinion (small leak out of top when cold, near steering knuckle. Needs topping off every few thousand miles - happy to include a used one to go with the car). If you've always wanted to own one of these but have been worried about the maintenance costs, this one is for you. I've done all the hard work and need to move on other projects. Ready to enjoy summer top down driving.

  • Color: Blue Trans: Automatic Mileage: 176,000 Price: $2,800
I've had some good times with this car but am ready to let it go to its next caretaker. Recent updates include, a new alternator, a new starter, almost completely rebuilt a/c system that blows ice cold, as well as mint refurbished super Aero tri-spoke wheels with no curb rash or scratching. The top was replaced two years ago and is in excellent condition as this car is garage kept. All power windows function nicely, power top goes up and down without struggle. Pioneer headunit but the two rear speakers need replaced. Tires and breaks fair. Interior has some wear consistent with age but overall still presentable. Some of the seams have stitching beginning to let go. Overall I would classify this car as driver condition. Paint is fair with some clouding on top of the hood. Clear coat is good so I believe this could be buffed out. Car has a quarter sizer spot underneath drivers taillights and a few nonstructural spots along bottom lip. Open to offers or trades of other Saabs.

K is the 8th digit of the VIN. Black body. Tan leather interior. I was almost through with a compete restoration. Tons of new parts, including four new tires and new floor mats. Wheels, seats and body are excellent. I got a promotion at work that has me working on two different continents. BAM! The engine on my car lost compression...Now I am not here enough to deal with this... So it's time to sell the car for parts. EVERYTHING worked before the engine failed. The car is at a reputable SAAB repair shop. They can give you a "third-party" opinion of what is there. But the top, tonneau cover, top mechanism, hubs and wheels are worth much more then I am asking. A BONUS... Two working keys that are in great shape. TEXT is best.

  • 1998 Saab 900SE Convertible (Posted 2/23/2020) SOLD
  • Color: Green Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 94,400 Price: $1000
Selling my 900 SE convertible, which I bought new in June 1998. It was my daily driver until recently (when I bought a 2011 Saab 9-5), and I still drive it on weekends. Has received regular maintenance. Passed inspection this year and still a joy to drive, although the clutch is starting to show signs of wear. The top still works, and its electric motor was replaced only a few years back. But after heavy rain it will leak while driving (there’s no leak while car is stationary--only when accelerating, braking, or cornering). The passenger side front window regulator is beginning to fail and the A/C doesn’t work. There is an intermittent quiet scraping noise from the front driver's-side wheel, but the brakes work normally. The coolant sensor appears to have failed, so indicates “low coolant” even though coolant levels are normal. (The car does not overheat.) Interior is clean and rip-free, and car starts and handles normally. Rear quarter panels have had minor parking-lot dings professionally removed. Intentionally pricing this low because I want to find good home for this beloved car. Happy to provide further details, just email/text me.

This new arrival is displacing its older sibling. I used to work for a Northern Virginia SAAB/Volvo independent shop. This convertible was a lease turn in bought for my wife in 2005 with 42,228 miles on it. IT IS A NO RUST CAR THAT HAS BEEN GARAGED IN FLORIDA EVER SINCE! Engine, trans, brakes, steering, shocks, AC, radio/CD player, trunk mounted 6 CD changer and other systems are perfect. Saab Information Display is perfect. Automatic Climate Control panel has a few missing pixels but works correctly. This car does everything that it should and nothing that it shouldn’t. Fuel Pump, Water Pump and Crank Position Sensor have all been replaced. I use EXCEL to track maintenance. Records can be provided to document most entries on the spread sheet. • Color: Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 75,000 Price: $3,500
I'm moving to Arizona and don't want to ship car. I'm the second owner purchased in 2005 with 50,000 miles. So in the next 15 years we only put 25,000 miles on the car. We've never had the top down, so it looks like it's brand new. Antenna doesn't go down all the time-right now it's working so eventually it may need new mast ($95). Engine light comes on periodically - had it checked out. Mechanic checked codes in ecu and said maybe ignition coil cassette may need to be replaced but right now engine light has been off.

  • Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 125,000 Price: Best Offer
Parked 2 years ago in my driveway, and has been covered ever since. It ran, but had a myriad of issues. Here's the most important issues: cloth top is binding in mechanism, and will not fully go down. Dashboard lights will not light; I got the dash replaced, problem happened again after a month. Some other electrical gremlin. Code for ignition coils; I replaced them three times, last set lasted 2 years. Definitely could use some updated suspension bushings, but was completely drivable. AC/Heat/Radio and other electrics worked, did not burn oil, idled well. Feel free to contact with questions. Free Carfax report: Click Here. • 1990 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 11/30/2019) SOLD
  • Color: White Trans: Automatic Mileage: 102,000 Price: $2750
VIN: VS3AL76L1L701022. condition: good. cylinders: 4 cylinders. drive: fwd. fuel: gas. title status: clean. This is a good running reliable car. When I bought it the previous owner told me the odometer stopped about 2000 miles before my purchase: I’ve driven it less than 2500 miles so expect the mileage is about 102,000 miles. The top is in perfect shape and goes up and down effortlessly. I had the a/c compressor, expansion valve and drier replaced and the entire system flushed. It operates properly and should provide years of trouble free use. I replaced the ABS pressure switch and accumulator so the braking system is sorted. Almost new tires. The interior is in good shape with one worn place on the drivers seat. There is a vinyl tonneau cover and the hard plastic parade cover is like new. It is my 10th Saab and I enjoy driving and working with it. It is 30 years old and so requires some regular care but performs like a much newer car. I am only selling because I am purchasing a 1994 commemorative edition. More photos available in classified gallery: Click Here.

  • 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 10/28/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 102,270 Price: $2900 Or Best Offer
Up for sale is my fun little 900 vert. It is my first Saab and made me fall in love with the brand. Bought it early this year as a bit of a project. The work I did: New exhaust from the cat back, new CV axles both sides, new tie rod ends, new companion flange/cup on driver's side, new steering stem bushing, new belts (all 4), and new heater bypass valve. The car runs, shifts and drives great and the turbo spools nicely. No rust. Newer tires. Power top works. I have a box full of all maintenance records and receipts since it was purchased new in Maryland, as well as a spreadsheet of my own work. Does have its fair share of defects: clear coat fading on hood and trunk lid, canvas top has noticeable wear and should be replaced, ABS and SRS dash lights on, heated seats work intermittently. Overall a great little car and I have loved it. Selling in order to free up space for a 9-5. Call or text me for more info and pictures. Thanks for looking.

An excellent restoration project (mileage, no rust, solid engine), or for parts.

  • 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible (Posted 10/4/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 90,572 Price: $6,000 OBO
I purchased this work of automotive art for $8,500 from the Saab experts at Precision Plus, Trevose, PA, in April 2017. Since then, I've driven the car a meager 907 miles and only in the early fall and summer. The car had one previous owner who, like me, kept it garaged. The car runs and handles magnificently. Very few (and minor) exterior blemishes. The top is in seemingly flawless condition and opens and closes perfectly. I won't waste your time describing those additional characteristics of the Saab Aero that make it such a unique and enjoyable car. New custom Saab floor mats, two working keys, owner's manual, etc. Heartbroken to sell her but moving to a city which will make continued ownership impracticable. Issues: A small (approximately three inches) tear along a seam in the front seat; although the airbag recall was addressed in 2017, the air bag light remains on for reasons unrelated to the recall (this did not prevent the car from successfully passing PA inspection three weeks ago); and the fuel gauge recently became stuck on full, probably due to a faulty fuel gauge resistor. VIN: YS3FH76U066004022. Will gladly provide additional photos upon request. Priced to sell. More photos available in classified gallery: Click Here.

  • 1989 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 8/27/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 172,700 Price: $19,500
This exceptional automobile represents one of the finest Saab 900 Turbo Convertibles in North America. It has been meticulously restored over a 5-year period to a stunningly beautiful condition that has enabled it to win 41 car show awards, a remarkable achievement for any car and most likely a record for a Saab. Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car magazine (November 2014) stated: "There are scant few words that adequately describe just how beautifully turned out this 900 Turbo was... It was flatly gorgeous... with a spectacularly detailed engine compartment." It achieved national prominence when Saab owners voted it #1. It competed twice in the prestigious Saab Club of North America Annual Car Show, winning the First Place People's Choice Award in 2013 and the Second Place Award in 2010. It won 2 Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car Show trophies and appeared in Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car magazine 3 times with a full-page feature story and photo in February 2015 and has appeared in the Griot's Garage Handbook and on the American Collectors Insurance and Car Chasers websites. The financial investment made in its restoration, plus its national awards, have earned it an Agreed Value Insurance policy of $22,500 with American Collectors Insurance which is also the stated value in the 2020 Collector Car Price Guide. It is a rare model, estimated to be 1 of only 107 1989 Saab 900 Turbo Convertibles imported in black with automatic transmission. This vehicle may be driven with confidence. It has 172,700 carefully maintained miles and has been serviced only by Saab dealers/technicians during my 22 years of ownership (second owner), has service history, original boot cover/bag, owner's manual/document case and original wheels. It has a clean Carfax, is always garaged and covered. If you prefer owning a National Award Winner and an investment grade, highly collectible Saab Convertible, instead of an ordinary daily driver, this represents a rare opportunity to do so. Please call or send me an email for more information, including details regarding the vehicle's comprehensive restoration, which includes a perfectly fitted, upgraded Connolly leather interior, new carpet and mats, Saab premium light alloy wheels, custom leather door inserts, and highly polished valve cover plate, firewall, header pipe and door sill plates. Price is negotiable. More photos available in classified gallery: Click Here.

Very well maintained by Saab enthusiast. Serviced by Bear @ EOS (East of Sweden) here in Boulder CO. They are one of the best Saab shops in the country. I have a ton of service records dating back to 2003 from them. Everything works great including the top and air conditioning. The Michelin tires have about 90% remaining. The clutch & H20 pump were done in 2018. Even the power antenna still works. The interior has never been smoked in and is in excellent condition. The exterior has no damage or rust but does have some sun fading but still looks great. It has always had Mobil 1 or Valvoline full synthetic oil changes done every 3-5k Miles. I have 2 working remote keys and clean Colorado title in hand. I am happy to help with getting shipping set up or can pick you up at Denver Airport. Reasonable offers

Sadly, time to sell my baby. Retiring and can no longer shift the standard transmission. This is a comfortable all-day cruiser that turns heads. Beautiful 2002 Saab 9-3 convertible with only 54,000 miles. I am the second owner and have had this beauty for over 13 years. The car has always been garaged winters. Never seen snow. Very good condition for the year. Flawless red paint, black interior, and those beautiful Double-Y alloy wheels. Has all the standard Saab goodies - power windows, door locks, speed control, fog lamps which all work well. Wind blocker is in the original leather bag. Convertible top is in good condition and operates perfectly. Engine purrs and when that turbo kicks-in we are off. Meticulously maintained with synthetic oil changes every spring. Tires are in decent shape and have maybe 8,000-10,000 miles left on the tread. Recent new battery. This car is in very good shape for a 17 year old vehicle but not perfect. Driver's seat has some brush marks, convertible top has a few stress marks (see picture) and one wheel has a scrape (see picture) and a small plastic piece has come off near the fog light buttons. • 2002 Saab 9-3 Turbo Convertible (Posted 8/6/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Beige Trans: Manual Mileage: 90,000 Price: $3500 OBO
Owned since 2010, no accidents, non-smoker, maintained by a Saab mechanic. Two owners, garaged in both cases, in SC. Bought as a "weekend vehicle" and to teach my 4 kids how to drive manual transmission. All kids now have other full time cars so need the space. Car is running as well. Just replaced the AC compressor. Check engine light is on and has been for about 5 years. Needs a catalytic converter, so if you are in an emissions testing area, it will probably fail. All hydraulics in the top have been replaced in the last 2 years. The top still "Sticks" going down, but still works on the second try. No issues coming back up. All other electronics work, windows, doors, trunk. A few exterior scratches, and the leather is starting to crack on front seats. Only one key. This car has been a special vehicle for our family, and I will cry when it sells, but really want it to go to another member of the "Saab family". Make me an offer.

  • 1994 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 8/1/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Ruby Red Trans: Automatic Mileage: 121,000 Price: $4500
Very nice looking 1994 original classic Saab 900 Turbo. Runs and drives great, always garage kept. Leather is in excellent condition, a/c does not work but the top works great and is in like new condition. The car is in mint condition - NO RUST. A lot of compliments every time we drive the car. Mechanically the car starts, stops, runs, drives and shifts as it should. Heated seats, power windows, power mirrors, cruise all work like they should. We have the parade boot and Wind deflector with bags as well. Cooper tires replaced last year with less than 500 miles on them and will last a while especially as little as we drive it. Has never been a daily driver, has never seen snow, only rain when caught in a shower. It’s getting really hard to find these classic Saab 900 especially clean ones. Sale is for pickup only in upstate NY. As is where is, no warranty, all sales final, no refunds.

  • 1994 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (Posted 7/31/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 156,000 Price: $6800 OBO
5 Speed Manual Transmission. This 900 has been completely restored with some custom modifications. Please inquire for specific details. I have spent well over 5K in parts and hours of labor to make this a nice driving reliable classic convertible. The price is extremely fair for the work that has been completed on the car. It starts, runs and drives without issues. You could literally drive this car across the US with no issues. The engine was overhauled. The suspension has new bushings and shocks. The transmission is a 5 speed conversion with a refreshed transmission. The brakes are all new. Tires are like new. New windshield. The interior has been refreshed. Paint in new cost me over 3K for paint. New exhaust. Many new engine parts (too many to list). AC deleted (it is a convertible). No body rust or suspension rust (you will not find any hidden rust). It has never been in an accident. Overall this is a great example of a Saab that will not cause you a big headache in hidden repairs (I took care of all those :). Please feel free to ask any questions you might have! More photos available in classified gallery: Click Here.

  • 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible (Posted 7/22/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 203,000 Price: $1320
I'm the original owner and have complete maintenance records going back to the window sticker. This car has been my everyday driver for the past 19 years. I've yet to see another car with this combination of sport, luxury, & fuel economy. The good: I've invested in it pretty heavily over the years so still very fast, mechanically sound, & maintained with OEM equipment wherever possible. Oil change every 5K & major maintenance done on schedule. New rear brakes & rotors, oil & water pumps. Transmission & clutch replaced @ 160K. Top replaced in 2012 is leak-free. Bosal exhaust. Custom media player integrates as CD-changer. The bad: Needs new front brakes & LF ball joint to pass inspection. A blown hose is preventing the automatic top from working but it can be operated manually. The ugly: A couple small dings, shallow scratches, & trim cracks. Free CarFax report: Click Here.

  • 1991 Saab 900 SE Turbo Convertible MCY (Posted 7/18/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Monte Carlo Yellow Trans: Automatic Mileage: 57,000 Price: $17,500
Rare - one of the lowest miles 900 SE Convertible Monte Carlo Yellow in the world! I listed some international shipping companies bellow, it's an easy process they pick up the car in AZ and take it to the port in LA and then it's shipped overseas. This is a stunning Saab 900 convertible in one of the most desirable color and trim level. Just a couple of hundred of examples of the Saab 900 Turbo Convertible featuring a special Monte Carlo Yellow paint were made. Most of them ended up in the United States. Apart from the paint, late 1991 and early 1992 models were distinguished by their aerodynamic package dubbed ‘Special Performance Group’, the most powerful engine with the highest boost pressure, three-spoke wheels and leather upholstery. The odometers on these 900’s can be faulty/defective but this one is 100% functional and can be backed by CarFax maintenance history with mileage tracking. Carfax is available upon request. The car was purchased on 6/28/91 and the original owner kept it for 20 years. He drove it for 44,000 miles in 20 years. The second owner bought it on 2/3/2011, his family drove for 8,000 miles until they sold it to me (there was a father, daughter, and friend transfer of ownership during that time which added the number of owners, but rest assure I have all their info that confirms it was with their family until around 52-53K miles and sold to me). I originally bought this car to restore it to showroom condition (cosmetically is not perfect and needs work to be Concours worthy, that’s why the price is lower than most MCY’s). I have a vast amount parts that will accompany the car (over $2,500 in parts & misc from the car to include new front and rear OEM headlamps to restore original amber color from factory), original stereo, eq, and cd player, amp and all cables are in a box and will go with the car. To the best of my knowledge and inspections – East of Sweden from Broomfield, CO the car has no rust 'eating' away the main areas. I have moved the front driver and passenger carpet to take pictures of floor pans and removed trunk covers/carpet to show critical areas where usually these cars develop unrecoverable rust. Dash is cracked like any other 900, it will need to be refurbed or replaced for Concours. It’s very clean with original paint (except passenger door which I decided not to fix so new owner could see for himself), original engine, all original glasses (NO CRACKS), and original automatic transmission. Clean title on hand. Private Party Inspections are welcome. Mechanically this vehicle is very sound and it shows. It only has 57,8xx miles, shifts smooth and the engine purrs like new. I spent approximately US$ 3,000 since 2016 doing all the recommended preventive maintenance (documented and not including oil changes). It has been on climate controlled indoor garage w/ a car cover since I purchased it. I have no wish or desire to sell this car for low offers, this car will double its value in a few years. Serious inquiries only, please. This truly deserves to be with a collector, I challenge you to ask any Saab 900 owner to remove the trunk and front floor pan carpets to see if it is anywhere like this one. Like I said in my videos, I have seen several 900 convertibles and they all have rust on the floor pans, trunk corners and/or rocker panels. This is a very clean car that needs minor cosmetic attention.

  • 2010 Saab 9-3 Convertible (Posted 7/11/2019) SOLD
  • Color: Glacier Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 112,000 Price: $5500
One Owner Saab 9-3 Convertible in a really fantastic color combination that must be seen to appreciate. Fresh inspection and service, excellent Michelins all around, needs nothing! Exterior is excellent, this color just makes for a special look almost between a light blue and silver depending on how you look at it. A few scratches here and there, but overall shines beautifully. Interior is excellent with only minor wear on the driver's seat. It's tough to find these later model Saab convertibles in such nice condition. Mechanically, runs absolutely fantastic, top is mint and works perfect, strong engine and transmission, ice cold air, heated seats and full power. All other electronics work perfectly. These are such great convertibles due to extensive insulation that makes for proper winter cars as well. This is just a very nice Saab for you to enjoy!!
