I don't know who did your last oil and filter change, but it sounds like they over torqued the drain plug bolt. I have mine done at a local Amoco, and I watch to make sure the drain plug is not over tightened. Last but not least, I do not advise taking a car to Jiffy Lube. I have heard to many nightmare stories with them. You may have to use a special wrench or vise grips to loosen your oil drain plug. I suggest you get a good replacement.
