Subject: Switching tires on new Saab 9-3 SE convertible

I plan to lease a new 9-3 SE convertible for 3 yr/36K miles. I am considering having them switch the speed rated Michelin's (HK?, HX?) for Michelin MXV 4's that come on the 9-5. Reason: I think I'll get a better ride and there is a better chance the MXV 4's will go 36K miles. The last thing I want to do is buy new tires 6 months before I turn the car in. Any thoughts on how this will affect the ride? The longevity of these tires?
