Curt, I have an 87 9000S 5 spd. Check for vaccum leaks and it may be time to give your throttle body/throttle plate a good cleaning, and the AIC valve too. When I first bought mine it would stall out at lights after deceleration. My Saabtech friend cleaned the throttle body/plate assembly, replaced a vaccum hose, reset the basic idle and the throttle position sensor. As for electrical problems. Make sure your battery terminals and cables are clean and tight, as well as your ground wires.
