Subject: Odd things on 1988 900S



I did the strange, I bought a SAAB 900S on E-Bay.  Driving it back home
(Milwaukee) from Newark, two strange thing happened.

1 - The light on the instrumentation panel (fuel, Temp, speed, etc)
flickered.  Some times the left side would fail, sometimes the right and
sometimes both, which is not good at night.

2 - The Odometer and the trip Odometer stopped working.  Although I get
speed, the trip odometer and the regular odometer failed.

Any tips or advice would help.
