Hi all, A little over a week ago I was driving my '85 900T on a trip that I take all the time. Anyway at about 9:00pm (after I had been driving for 2 hours or so), driving along a country road, I must have been just distracted enough... I remember looking up (had perhaps zoned out on the dashboard) and noticed that I was just starting to drift off the road (I must have been going about 60mph). I made a quick move to correct it, but was too late. My car got two wheels onto the gravel, and, after sort of twisting back and forth, shot back across the road and off the other side, where it climbed up a canal bank, took out about 50 feet of a barbed-wire fence, jumped over a small ravine (I think), spun out and rolled (over) back down the canal bank, landing right side up. The windshield and rear window had both been completely shattered. The car had lost several pieces along the way (mirrors, bumpers, etc.). The hatchback had been thrown open, yanked over to one side, and bent back over onto itself, the fenders were crumpled up pretty badly, and there was barbed wire wrapped around the hood. But the passenger compartment held it's shape remarkably well (the roof had been pushed slightly down on the front passenger side), and I unlatched my seatbelt and got out of the car. Later I discovered that I had a scratch on the back of my right hand, but that was it. One comment was, "it's really good that you're ok, but I just don't believe you're standing here." Anyway, very glad to have had the Saab that evening (which, incidently had about 319,400 miles on it).
