We have a 92 900. It's been swell except for the following. Blown head gasket under 100k. Blown gear box at 100k. That, to me, is Ford bullshit. I never expected gearbox failure before 150k. Apparently quite common, to the point that there is a 2rd party guy in Ct that rebuild with custom parts, in particular the pinion. Although the 9-5 wagon is very appealing to us, I'm having a hard time voting for a $35k car from Saab, now GM. The odd thing is the 2rd party rebuild is $500 less then Saab's rebuild from NJ.
