Subject: 2001 9-3 SE Convertible in the Snow

Hi, I am considering buying the saab '01 9-3 Convertible. I have a question about performance in the snow. Currently, I live in Northern CA, no snow here, but I ski a great deal in the winter. Lake Tahoe Area, Yosemite Area. Right now I have a 4-wheel drive Ford Bronco, it handles great going up the snowy narrow mountain passes. Does anybody have experience with the 9-3 handling in these kind of conditions? Also, how the 9-3 handles with chains placed on the front tires (I know not chains, Saab designs some type of bungie wrap for the 9-3 because of low clearance) Thank you in advance
