I got a 9-5 and had the dealer put in an Ericsson T28 car kit. They did the same thing, used the T28 kit's microphone. Why didn't they use the car's mic? They said they don't work very well. The real reason I found was that the car's mic has two ways of connecting, one high and one low sensitivity depending on the type of phone. The Ericsson need the setting to be changed. Works great!
