Subject: Antifreeze smell in cabin ('93 9000CS)

Now that the colder weather is starting to set in, I remember that I had a problem starting last year with the smell of anitfreeze in the cabin. The car is a 1993 9000CS with 103K miles on it. I expect that it's either the heater core, heater control valve, or the hose connections to these. My question -- can anyone tell me the procedure for getting access to these parts so I can check it out! I assume that the heater core is in the cabin, probably under the center of the dash. I don't know where the heater control valve is. I'd rather not just start randomly pulling out dash trim to try to find these! So, if anyoned has experience with actually doing this job, and can give me some directions, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks! Joe -- Joseph P.
