Subject: Did Saab Make a16V B201 Turbo Engines? [WAS:PCV Valve on a 89 900 T16]

Orca was produced in Finland and, as I understand, a bit of an oddity - Nystad were dumping out the last of the B201s and made something a little special out of them by grafting on the Aero kits in the (very) latter days. My 1985 900i is a 16V B201 - did Saab make a 16V turbo B201? The only 16V B201 engines that I've seen have been injection only. Likewise, I have only seen B201 turbos in 8V. Why? Perhaps Pekka Valtanen <help>CALLING PEKKA :)</help> (who shared some knowledge recently about what the "S" stands for on the C900 turbo "S" models) can share some light on this matter - he seems to be knowledgeable about the models produced from Finland during this era. My VIN simply decodes the car as a simple injection (which did worry me a little about "ringers", but my fears have since been put at rest), but Pekka informs me that a range of "fake" Aeros (I like to call them "aspiring Aeros" ... like "when I grow up, I wanna be an Aero") were produced at this time with the B201 8V engine. I just wonder why the 16V B201 was not (or maybe was) used for the turbo range. Inquiring minds "want to know", Paul 1985 900i 16V 1989 900 Turbo S http://pjgh.go.dyndns.org/saab/index.html
