That's why you americans use 30% of the worlds > energy resources! ;-) Decadent? How so? These are all relatively older cars (averaging 10 years old). I bought each car used(at different times). I paid less than $10k for every car except the Exploder. The total cost for all of these cars together was not even equal to one new M3!! I suppose that the most "decadent" item is the Ford Exploder and Boat rig. But hey, you have to have some fun sometimes, right? As far as consuming the worlds energy resources, I don't think that I'm really the one who is doing that. I work from my own home and therefore do not commute at all. My wife drives about 2 miles to her job (school teacher). My two girls are both in college so their cars mostly sit in a parking lot all week. They do use them to get home from school now and then... So you see my cars (though I do have quite a few of them) spend a lot of idle time and do not see much mileage. Our low mileage driving habits is one reason I feel it is best to buy and own older cars. It doesn't make sense to buy a new model and have it sit in the yard. Too much depreciation. - Fred (and it's Wills not Willis) PS - My 2nd daughter is decidedly NOT married at only 19 years old. It's hard for me to see why anyone would get all excited over a 10 year old car. I think we paid $6900 for it about 2 years ago.
