Probably something similar to what the other posters said. On a CV, you *MAY* be able to get to the lock mechanism by going through the top well. With the top up see if the liner will come off at any point. Once in the trunk (with an arm and part of a torso ;-)), you will need to flip the latch mechanism to release it. The lock works by disconnecting the lever (handle outside) from the linkage which releases the catch. You will need to pry/pull on the tooth which secures the pin on the strike plate. Good luck...
