Here in the US, if the dealer kept brushing me off like he did to you and then my engin blew I'de be screaming and hollering - in a nice way of course - to the shop's manager, Saab regional director and Saab USA if necessary. If the dealer keeps blowing you off (pun intended), are you expected to just retire the car untill they can sort their shit out??? Make sure you have your backup and go fight. 4k is a lot of money.
