What about the hot/cold control? How do I disengage the rod and refit > after? The vent control (with all the vac hoses) actually has a big plug/socket arrangement for the hoses. Loot closely and you'll see a locking metal ring. Once you prise that off, all the hoses come off as part of a white plastic plug. As for the heater valve rod, that just pulls off the heat control knob. Pull. -- Grunff
