I have always used graphite in locking mechanisms.However since you have light oil in there now, graphite is not a great comdination. But if you are stripping it down and can clean it up, you might consider lubricating the mechanism with lock graphite. I would really like to know how the real Saab experts feel. I am still a "new boy". Malcolm
