The V6 is not a favored motor amongst Saab enthusiasts. It was a GM add-on and was stuffed into NG900/9~3's and 9-5's to meet GM's idea that buyers want a V6 instead of a 4cyl in a "luxury" car. It *requires* timing belt change every 30-35K miles. No exceptions, Saab may pay for the first three although some dealers require the 35/60/90K service to be purchased to get the "free" belt. Saabers much prefer a turbo 4. More power, more reliable, more Saabish. Bob
