My 3 guesses: - strut towers *not* out of alignment due to previous accident (hence camber OK) - your alignment specialist will declare that the body shop that fixed your accident really goofed, when doing your toe-in - or the body shop simply didn't do it at all. Looks like you now have extreme toe-out instead, which explains the massive wear on inside edges. - the body shop will refuse to compensate you for the tyre wear but will offer you a 15% discount on your next bodywork repair ;-) You push the case and settle for the cost of the second alignment job plus the replacement cost of *one* of the tyres. This and all cars with front-wheel steering should have a slight amount of toe-in, which tends to cause a bit of outside edge tread wear. But that can be reduced by increasing tyre pressures (e.g. on 195/60-15 try 2,5 kPa [35 psi] instead of 2,2 kPa [31 psi] , or on 205/50-16 try 2,7 kPa instead of 2,4 kPa). But let's first see how this front end alignment check and fix works out . . . By the weekend we'll know if this is right or not huh ;-) BRgds, Robert [for the rels in BC I'll go off-line]
