II've had a few carb 99's, they went well enough, the single stromberg giving quite reasonable performance and 100+mph if I pushed it :-) I did drive a 100bhp single carb 900 but the extra weight and PAS load made it quite sluggish...Forget twin strombergs... they go out of tune and only gain 8hp Or fit twin webbers like a mate did, (he had the rocking horse sh** manifold, the sod...) the performance was even better than injection and great sound.... Even better, forget 900's and find an old 99 and drop in a 16V......
