The rear emblem on my '98 900 CV disappeared on day so I removed the blank
metal portion and installed the plastic covered 'emblem' from a spare road
wheel insert that I had in my stash - it was the same size as the original
and is much more resistant to damage. The image portion of the cap can be
separated when the piece is warmed up by inserting a sharp edge an carefully
prying it out; I used black RTV to stick it into the recess in the rear
panel.
