Everything that needs to be said has been said about Neil getting scammed. Caveat emptor, etc.
eBay sell rare coins and bullion coins too and I just want to caution everyone out there that my best friend over almost 50 years was in the rare coin business and he says that eBay is flooded with fake coins. I was in a coin shop last year and another customer was trying to sell 20 1-oz US Silver Eagles he bought on eBay (according to him after the dealer asked him where he bought them) and the dealer said they were fakes. Base metal with silver plating. Worthless.
It's truly in your best interest to seek out a reputable dealer. Same advice works for cars. Use Saabnet classifieds as your first stop and go from there.
