Cruise Control
Posted by bob von borstel (more from bob von borstel) on Fri, 12 May 1989 18:05:59
I have an '86 900T and have taken it in once for an inoperativecruise control. Turns out the fix was pretty simple. The techjust replaced one of the rubber hoses with a short piece of 'hefty'rubber cable. Apparently a crack had developed where the hosejoined the connector and the assembly was losing vaccuum. He saidthis was a common problem.Well, it worked for a while, but lately the cruise comes and goesat different speeds, and now it doesn't work at all. I was wonderingif anyone else had exhibited similar problems and what the solutionmight be.robert von borstel / iit-acc / 10 W 31st St / Chicago, Ill 60616bitnet : sysbvbno39sdcx6spamx782iitvax (312) 567-5962
