SPG Upgrade Kit

I recently noticed that the '88 and later SPG turbo engines are rated to havean extra 5 hp and 7 lb-ft of torque compared to the 'standard' turbo engine.A Saab sales droid at a local auto show told me this was purely a PROM swap,and that an upgrade kit was available from Saab. Has anyone heard this too,or (better yet) tried it? I'm interested, but a little wary....
